Great apartment with lots of character. Kitchen had everything I needed. Great location, close to everything. There is a good grocery store close-by. (by the bridge)
The cleaning women came at 7:30 in the morning on the day I was leaving. (check-out is 10:30). I was already packed, so I left and froze for a couple of hours at the train station.
Location is very good, and that is also the reason very lout. We did not sleep well.
Very nice and unforgettable living experience here.
Noisy at night
All was wonderful. Diana, the property manager, who lives across the street, was so helpful, friendly and congenial. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, modern and very well located. There is a Conad market 3 blocks away. Everything else in this fascinating is only a 10 minute walk.
I had to leave after 3 weeks!
Almost everything The location was brilliant. The apartment spacious, comfortable, well equipped. Enormous bathroom with double sink, shower and huge hot tub. Helpful meet and greet and info in apartment.
Second bedroom and bathroom minute. This is an apartment for a couple.
Wonderful Apartment, great location. Very helpful and nice staff
Unfortunately the apartment was down the alley way from a Irish Pub, very noisy so didn't get a great sleep whilst we were there.
I stayed in the Cosmea studio. It was beautifully decorated and furnished, centrally located near the Old Bridge, had tons of natural light, and a private rooftop terrace with stunning views of the whole city. The bathroom had been newly renovated. I absolutely LOVED this apartment. Diana was very prompt and accommodating. She gave great recommendations and helped me book a wonderful day tour of Tuscany. I would definitely stay here again!
Kitchen was very small, but I didn't use it at all. Dark hallways and stairwell. 5th floor walk up, but worth it for the view.
1 it is a very typical Florence local house, with a typically narrow stairs in it. so it was not a hotel literally, which made me really feel like home. 2 i did love the guidebook provided which included where to eat, where to go, what to do, even the story of Florence. suggestion from the locals could never be wrong. 3 nice staff to answer all my questions. 4 i did love its kitchen which enabled me to buy sth in the supermarket to make dishes. which you could barely find in hotel. 5 it was located in the other side of the river. just 5 mins walk to the castle and 10mins walk to the old street. Since Florence is within walking distance, so i nearly walked to all the places.
1 no elevator. since it was an old house from very earlier time, you hv to take all your luggage up to your flat. 2 the toilet is kinda old, but it was still ok. 3 the bed is not that comfortable, given it was not a hotel literally, so it did not really matter to me. 4 the light was not bright enough to reach the whole room, somehow made me feel like a little depressed.
Excellent location near the Ponte Vecchio and Santa Trinita bridges. 15 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella station. Kitchen had fridge and all the cutlery, good sized room. Apartment quite near Santo Spirito church and Pitti Palace and near a supermarket. Excellent distance to all the main attractions. Room had all the facilities. Residential area with a lovely atmosphere.
Wi-fi was a bit temperamental, I could not take calls for some reason as well. As long as you went outside of the building you can take calls and use the Wi-fi.
Great location and view over the Ponte Vecchio. Very helpful staff and everything in the apartment as it was described on the web page.
The internet was sometimes not working (the router needs to be restarted).
- central location. - Comfortable and very spacey apartment. - Excellent and very friendly and helpful staff
- Nothing really .. everything was good.
The apartment is huge with a loft floor. The bathtub in the bedroom is private and works a treat. Lots of local recommendations of things to see and do and places to eat. Supermarket just down the road. Kitchen fully equipped.
Lots of stairs to get to the apartment (but the peace & quiet up top is worth it).
Our apartment - 19 Via Costa dei Magnoli (1 minutes from ponte Vecchio). Central location, everything was in walking distance. Feel comfortable. The kitchen have all facilities. Diana(manager) was very lovely and helpful.
Everything was great.
Close to shops restaurants & attractions good size apartment
we stayed 5 nights and linen/towels were never changed mosses were bad, hard to sleep, couldn't close windows no aircon and nothing for mossies no communication the entire stay from any staff
There is a nice atmosphere in the little studio. Nice and quiet, though right in the middle of the noisy and jammed Florence
Could do with an extra blanket. Nights are pretty cold this time of the year.
Convenient location in the heart of Florence and easy access to all tourist sites. The apartment is beautiful and very spacious and also beautifully appointed. We absolutely loved it. Wifi was good and Alesandra fro the agency was lovely and helpful. Great area for restaurants and sightseeing.
Noise. Thursday night was noisy but Friday night was awful because of nearby bars and the noise did not subside until around 4.00am. It was great to have a washing machine but the instruction could have been more detailed. There is a painting on a wall which covers a manhole/tunnel which opened at some point and was quite creepy.
We stayed in Gelsomino apartment at Via della Colonna. Location is good - close to main attractions, but away from the buzz. It was useful to have the kitchen, and all the household appliances handy, as opposed to a regular hotel room. Diane and Emily were really nice and helpful, but unfortunately we did not like the apartment itself.
three key moments that made it difficult for us. 1) bedroom is on the upper floor with no windows. There is no AC, so impossible to breath at night... 2) the bathroom underneath the bedroom (the closest one) has no WC, so you have to walk across the whole apartment, past the living room and the kitchen to get to WC, very, i mean very uncomfortable, especially at nights. 3) mosquitoes and humidity, and the smell of humidity, as the apartment is on the floor 0.
Great location just off Piazza del Santa Croce. Comfortable living space with everything you could need for a short break. Would definitely stay here again.
The 2 pillows were too soft and flat. The shower is small.
A spacious studio apartment, with a small kitchen, and at an affordable price was beyond expectations. The location was within walking distance to the major attractions in Florence. It was fun to live where the locals live, and there were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Not a pleasant view out the kitchen window. But, since this is an apartment, there is little control over the rest of the building. And the building itself (actually, the neighborhood) had an unpleasant odor, which seemed as though it may have been attributable to an aging sewer system?
Most comfortable bed on trip, location, character of apartment, terrace, lots of local information, Diana superb host.
Only place on my trip that had no English channel on tv, being solo traveller it would have been good.
The service was perfect!
The apartment was small, the balcony on the backside of a lightning tunnel.
Clean, quiet, comfortable and well located for a very reasonable price.
Good location The apartment was very cosy and convenient to stay
Our apartment was located in the house where just ordinary Florentine people live, so we had extremely noisy neighbours
We stayed at via del campuccio 9. The studio is clean and tidy and located in Oltrarno area which is lovely. It is smaller than a hotel room though so be aware of this. The kitchen is usable but only just.
The studio is advertised as having a balcony. It does not have a balcony only a door that opens into a lightwell between four storey buildings.
