The staff and especially Helena the receptionist were most helpful. The Hotel is in a central location.
On our first night our room overlooked the street. At night it was extremely noisy even with the windows shut. The noise continued through the night up until about 4.30 am. Our second room was a little better. If you value your sleep and like fresh air at night steer clear of this Hotel.
noise outside the hotel at night
The location was fantastic as was the helpfulness of the staff at reception.
The bathroom was very impractical especially as I have two young kids. It was very difficult to shower them in a tiny shower cubicle with a fixed overhead shower. The towels provided were too thin as well.
Very helpful staff and owner, very good breakfast, nice triple room. amazing Wi-Fi, vey good location
The staff were very friendly and offered excellent recommendations for sights and dinner options. The room was modern, clean, and pleasant. Breakfast was an excellent start to the day.
The location was less than ideal. We were very surprised with the amount of graffiti all around this area. The neighborhood is very loud at night.
Nice hotel, very close to the University area. Quite near the city centre. Single room was comfortable and spacious. Staff was helpful and nice.
I had a window to the street and it was a bit noisy, because there were young people gathering in a street singing and talking aloud.
Good location, a lovely breakfast, staff were very friendly and helpful
Excellent location, good hotel
wifi is not 100% covered
Very nice basic hotel. We would definitely stay again.
We stayed for two nights. The first night, as we were readying for bed we realised our airconditioner didn't work. We went down to reception and after attempts to rectify the situation we were moved (upgraded) to a superior room for the evening. The next day we were moved to a standard room that had working airconditioning as our original room hadn't been repaired. The staff we lovely and very happy to help. The breakfast was good, with fresh coffee made. The bathroom was small but functional. The only possible negative I can find is the wifi. We stayed on both the first and second floor and the wifi didn't work on the second floor, as has been commonly reported in reviews. Normally it would be ok but I don't feel that a 3 star hotel should have limited wifi reception. It would be a really easy fix to make the hotel perfect.
The hotel is located in the city center. It's very close to the train station, Via Indipendenza and Piazza Maggiore. Breakfast is not bad for Italy. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. The staff is very helpful and kind. Special thanks to cheerful Diana :) She showed us the directions on the map, recommended trattorias and even printed our train tickets out! Thank you so much again. I would definitely stay in Accademia if I have a chance to go to Bologna again.
Little bit noisy due to its central location. Students don't have much time to sleep, so neither did we :)
The stuff is very polite, they helped me a lot! The location is good. The breakfast was good.
It was very noisy in my room.
very friendly staff from the initial email to confirm parking to the stay, very helpful
limited wifi in computer lounge area only
The staff were absolutely brilliant. Me and my boyfriend were travelling with my 84 year old grandmother and the staff were lovely to her. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was fine and the breakfast was good.
We didn't sleep for most of the night for the noise outside our window. It was like a street party going until after 2:00am and no attempt from staff to quiet the party. We were on a overnight flight just the night before from JFK to Milan, so this was our second night with practically no sleep. The only reason one stays in a hotel is to sleep, and that will be nearly impossible at this hotel.
Spacious room which was well-protected against noise.
The coffee was good, rooms very clean, bed was very comfortable and free wifi. The staffs were very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was unappetizing. The croissants, buns were dry and only limited boiled eggs (very often none left). The hotel is not located on the main street so quite a winding way to and from places of interest especially for someone unfamiliar with italian signages.
Location was good. breakfast as well.
Beds were not comfortable at all. very soft. had a feeling that will fall out all the time. Wifi signal was very poor. at least in our room. Room was very noisy but i guess it is understandable when you stay in the city centre.
Very pleasant hotel, Nice clean room with large comfortable bed & large bathroom. Varied breakfast. Young and frendly personnel.
Street rooms could be noisy during the night.
Great location, friendly staff
The staff, location
Room was a bit cramped, I would have appreciated a bit more space. I smelt smoke in the room, and if I opened the door, it was noisy as there were a couple of bars nearby.
Perhaps because we were in the university district but the noise was constant and all night.
Location close to old city. Private paid garage in the Hotel.
Hotel has no lift. We have to carry our baggage one or two floors depending where you are. Weak breakfast. Towels very thin.
The staff were all friendly
The lack of proper towels being provided, instead guests are provided with large cotton cloth 'towels' similar to those used in a kitchen.
