The location is amazing; rooms were very clean; beds were comfortable; toilettes had everything we needed; Grazia was very kind and very efficient at all times! A great option in Florence!!!
Wifi was not very good; actually, the wifi service was poor almost everywhere in Florence
Great room Modern deco Decent internet Good service Superb location
No lift and the 2nd floor feels like 4th!! Only select if you have a hand carry anything bigger you are going to huff and puff 1 coffee 1 croissant 1 juice for breakfast at a cafe next street
Friendly and very helpful staff. Very close to Duomo and everything else. Lovely ceilings.
Breakfast vouchers at nearby cafe was poor. Should provide breakfast at Adelaide House. Steps. Hard to find by car. No aircon from October.
Location was convienent as we were traveling by train.
The location is fantastic, close to the station and the duomo. The ceilings are a work of art.
This was our second visit and they have changed the breakfast so you have to redeem at a cafe close by, was much better, and plentiful in the room.
Location was fantastic. You are walking distance to everything and right at your doorstep is the duomo. The woman who worked there was nice. We got locked in by accident once and she quickly came to let us out. I'd recommend this place for the location. If you have heavy luggage, beware there are 2-3 flights of stairs you need to climb up.
The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything that goes on in the hallway and it gets very noisy with conversation and check-in and check out of guests coming in and going out so if you are a light sleeper don't expect to get much sleep.
The location is fantastic, only a few steps from the Dome. The room we got was simpel and uncluttered with white walls, and grey/black accessories. The beds and wi-fi were the best of our trip which included stops in Innsbrück, Rome, Sestri Levante and Kassel. Breakfast was server in a coffeeshop a few blocks down but we found that to be a good thing 'cause then we got our day started early. Service was simpel but perfect. Drivning and parking in Florens is a nightmare in general. Narrow streets are not even close to describing it and oneway streets almost everywhere. But in case you do bring your car into the center of town, Adelaide House has a deal with a parking garage they can show you. You pay them separate.
Nothing at all really. I Will definately book this one for my next trip! On location only.
so "close" to Duomo. so "clean" room.
the air conditioner didn't work in the evening. (it was hot...) I don't know why, but at the night (dawn) it began to work...
Adelaide House is located just one block away from Santa Maria del Fiore Church or El Duomo. It is close to restaurants and bars; I personally recommend Il Campanario, which is right next to the hotel. Adelaide is at walking distance to many Firenze attractions. The staff is friendly, including Grazia and her family. And the room, despite not beeing too big is confortable and clean.
My only concern is the poor breakfast, served in a nearby café. It consists of a cup of coffee, a glass of juice and a croissant. For the price of the hotel we should get a bit more.
I like the location, breakfast and friendly staff.
- perfect location in the city center - nice people - very clean (bed was made and - floors and bathroom were cleaned every day)
The location, the room was clean and comfortable.
The description in french does not correspond at the reality. There is no common lounge. The breakfast is not in the room but outsider in a coffe shop near by(one coffe and a croissant).Good but insufficient. You have to climb 4 floors with your luggages (i was lucky to check-in when the personnes in charge was there she helped me but i can't imagine what could have happened if not). Wi-fi did not work in my room and to get some i had to let my door opened. It can be noisy, i heard People living in the other rooms. For the same price you can find better places in Florence.
We loved being close to the Duomo and hearing the bells . It was fun having breakfast at the nearby coffee shop - delicious pastries !
- Location is perfect, its right next to the Duomo (20 meters?).
- Parking for the car is awful, its far and very expensive. Consider another place to stay further from the center if you have a car. - No elevator, and its on the 3rd floor.
The location - right next to the Duomo!
The Stairs - 54 steps to the hotel, and with the luggage ....you can imagine what that means!
Very good location.
1. Friendly host, 2. Excellent location, right around the corner from the Duomo, 3. Evidences of at least 2 layers of domed painted ceilings in our bedroom...perhaps 500 years old...in a build perhaps 900 years old, but solid, clean, charming...
It is listed as 'Adelaide's B&B', but the breakfast consisted of walking down the stairs and 2 blocks away to a busy coffee-bar, where we showed our vouchers and received a coffee and a croissant. But we actually learned to enjoy even that, it was right on the corner by the cathedral. Firenze!
Poor wifi No lift with heavy luggages
The location was awesome -- 1/2 block from the Duomo. The staff was very friendly.
Our room was much smaller than pictured on the website. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all one of the days we were there (even though we let them know). Breakfast consists of only one roll, coffee, and juice.
Location excellent and because of that value for money
You have to go to a separate cafe for breakfast staff not really helpful
Friendly staff which took care of organizing our tours. Clean and spacious room. Vouchers for breakfast were great. Location is amazing.
Great Location! The staff were brilliant, i arrived after the normal check in time and they waited for me and were patient giving directions from the train station (which is straightforward really). Once you step out of the building and turn right theres the breathtaking sight of the THE DUOMO, FLORENCE'S CATHEDRAL. Every other attraction is accessible by foot, just brilliant! Be mindful though....there is no elevator and it involves some stairs.
No sound proof, every noise on the corridors and the bathroom adjacent to mine
The location is excellent
The room was cold The receptionist was rude The water was barely warm, the water pressure was poor, and the water turned cold after 4-5 minutes The breakfast was poor - one old croissant, one yoghurt and a cup of cheap coffee per person delivered to our room at a pre-agreed time The rooms are based on the second floor and the stairs are very steep, it was awful to drag our suitcases upstairs to check in
We loved the owners, very kindly people and the location couldn't have been better, a moment away from the spectacular Duomo.
We were a bit cold the first night, the room was dark with scaffolding outside the window. Didn't like having breakfast in our room, too intrusive and the breakfast was very so-so, especially the first day. Terrible coffee. Very over-priced because it was New Year.
