Hotel Adige is set in Mattarello, 5 km from Trento city centre. This modern 4-star hotel includes the Greta wellness centre with an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, Finnish sauna, steam bath and gym. Trento town centre is easily accessible from Hotel Adige, with buses stopping nearby. You will need a sophisticated sat-nav to find it, but when you finally do all is well (if you are still speaking to each other). Our room had the view of the Alps, but behind the fire escape so not hugely impressive! Don't try to get there on a Saturday in August. No tea/coffe etc in room.

Breakfast was ample and tasty. Staff was friendly. Room was lovely as long as you didn't open the windows. Located on top of a strip mall/shopping centre. If you are lucky, you get a room facing the mountains. If not, your room faces a run down apartment building. Too far to walk to Trento zentrum, but Matarello is a nice village which is walkable.

The hotel met our expectations. We were traveling as a group of 8 motorcycles and we were allowed to store the bikes in a secure location. The breakfast was very good with a large selection of choices. We had a little trouble locating the hotel.

The hotel has two wings - one old and one new. You do not want to stay in the old one, but they will probably offer you only the old rooms ... Also the wellness-area was closed when we were there. There is no way for a wellness-hotel to close the wellness area without prior notice!

This is a clean, comfortable, modern hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. It provided one of the best breakfasts we had during three weeks of travelling in Italy. What we didn't like about this hotel was that while the hotel's listing on booking.com trumpeted the virtues of its Wellness Center, it was never made clear that a "standard" room rate did not include use of the Wellness Center's facilities. Indeed, the reservation form I received implied that we did have access to the Wellness Center: under "Important Information" the hours of the Wellness Center were provided, rather than a notation that we would be restricted from using the Center because of the price we were paying. I loathe this form of false advertising, which undermines the integrity of the internet.

Location (once we found it) and staff very friendly. Excellent service. Staff took time to show us things to do and where to find things on a map of the town. Excellent recommendation for dinner - local restaurant with local dishes. No wifi. Difficult to find as not sign posted.

Nice design hotel, with lovely staff, ample parking, restaurant right next door (open till 22.30) and good breakfast - especially to Italian standards - and free spa entrance included in the price. Regretfully - as in most hotels - hard mattresses and we couldn't open a window as there was just a door to a gallery in our room.

Camera confortevole e pulita, insonorizzata - no wi fi in camera (danno cavo con cauzione) - wi fi nella hall - con camera executive ingresso gratuito nel centro benessere (piscina con idromassaggi - vasca jacuzzi - sauna - bagno turco - palestra) - comodo il collegamento in ascensore dalle camere al centro benessere - colazione curata e abbondante (ottime le brioches calde - tv con canali sky (canali cinema pero' a pagamento - unico neo) - centro citta' a 10 minuti in auto - bella vista dalla terrazza delle montagne - nel complesso un'hotel in cui torneremo sicuramente

“Two minute walk from train station, very convenient. Hotel front desk staff greeted us warmly with a kind welcom and were so helpful. The staff made our stay a pleasure and answered all our questions and offered lots of directions and information about Trento sites. Room was large and comfortable and great bathroom facilities.
