Score from 22 reviews Exceptional
Located in the historic centre of Bari, B&B Bari Old Town features free WiFi access throughout. Guests can enjoy a breakfast, which is offered daily. Rooms are decorated with modern furnishings.
Score from 172 reviews Very good
Proximity to the three central railway stations of all the 4 local carriers, so it's ideal for travelling to so many nice nearby cities and towns on the coast and in the hinterland. Although located in a not-so-fashionable street, it stands out for its appearance and interior.
Breakfast is quite poor, my room's window looked into a well-like atrium, which is, however, nicely decorated with posters of Bari's key sightseeing attractions
1 Reception staff were friendly and helpful. 2. Wifi worked well 3. Bathroom was good size
1. Rooms need a bit of modernizing to be made less impersonal. 2. Breakfast was average and service staff not friendly 3. Price for a 3 star propertywas expensive - Bari isn''t Milano or Roma
Very helpful staff, near to the city center, clean room.
Very close to Bari central station, sometimes you can hear some trains, the surrundings in the night is not too nice.
Only stayed one night, location to train was perfect...and room was lovely and very clean. Staff helpful, loved the rooftop garden and restaurant!
The hotel was very easy to find for the novice traveller. Very clean, nice decor and very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good and a restaurant is on the premises but not part of the hotel. Food was good too and reasonablly priced. Single room was big enough and comfortable. It had a roof garden but I didn't have time to check it out. Easy walking distance to station, buss and old town. Will stay there again if in the area.
Street looks as if it is being renovated, a bit scruffy, using Google images you could easily be put off staying in the hotel but don't it was good.
Proximity to the train station & the town center. Friendly, accommodating staff esp at reception & at the bar.
Breakfast - not much cold cuts, no eggs.
Room was avery comfortable size with not so hard beds & pillows, so a comfortable nights sleep was had. Bathroom had been renovated & was easy to move around in. Location is a short walk from the rail/bus station & in a central position to all that Bari has to offer. Price included breakfast which was put into a hamper for a early morning departure with the offer of a freshly brew coffee before we left. Great little attention to detail, thank you. I recommend this hotel to all & will be staying here more than one day/night here at Hotel Adria in the coming months! Thank you for a pleasant experience.
Very convenient for the station and not far from the shopping centre and old town
Location, ambience, comfort, service, period charm - great breakfast - very high quality dinner cuisine
variation in reception staff from a stern & cold initial greeting, to consequent genuine willingness to help in any way possible.
Nice facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, food is decent but nothing special, clean
Lots of noise during the night due to poor isolation of the rooms No airco in the single room
Good location close to the central terminal and close to the city centre. Room was clean and large enought as well as the bathroom.
The was breakfast in comparison with local cuisine poor and the service during breakfast not sufficient - missing plates, not empty tables etc.
Helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, large modern bathroom with actual shower, (not over bath)
There was nothing that we did not like, we got what we expected and considered it good value for money. We stayed only one night as planned and enjoyed the experience
Very clean hotel, very polite and friendly staff. The room was very big and confortable.
Situation : 2 mn by foot from the station nice room rooftop with fitness room (free)
room a little bit small
Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast
with open window it is noisy at night
clean and well looked after, slighlty on the expensive side for what was on offer in the hotel but would definately recommend due to its cleanliness
staff can speak very little english and communication wasnt easy
The hotel has been nicely updated and the shower was fantastic!
A single room with a single bed is a little small, but it was clean and comfortable.
Very friendly staff, huge and very clean room, huge shower. Everything worked perfectly, w-lan, tv, hot water... Perfectly located close to train station and old town.
I loved the classic, old style of the hotel (1920s) that is completely modernized. I liked the super cleanliness, the bar in the lobby with espresso machine and alcoholic drinks, the kindliness of the staff, the air-conditioning in my room, cable TV, comfortable bed. Really, I could go on and on. Roof terrace, proximity to the train station. Oh, and another big bonus is that one of the BEST PIZZERIAS in Italy is located just around the corner. I went there for dinner and the pizza was memorable. I'll definitely return to this hotel.
I didn't like the fact that I could only be there for 24 hours! My stay was too short.
Location, friendly staff, big room
Wifi in some moments was not working, tv was rather small (but a minor point in my opinion)
Large bedroom. Roof garden. Able to eat in the hotel in the evening. Close to the station - no need for taxi or other transport. Close to sea front and old town.
I always take other reviews with a grain of salt. However, in the case of Hotel Adria, most everything found in other reviews was true. The shower had a hard time draining, parking was a little difficult to sort out (the hotel uses a second company's garage across the street), and an extra towel was not provided for our son (3rd person in a 2 person room). However, the staff more than made up for it. They were able to help us sort out parking, locate the train station and had wine on hand for a late night drink. Be sure to checkout La Dispensa di Sandrino for a quick snack or dessert.
No free wifi. This is a must in this day and age.
Staff extremely friendly and I borrowed an umbrella for the day after checking out to see the town. I also stored my luggage there after checking out. Steps from the train station. Would stay here again.
The location was good as we arrived Bari late at night by train and the hotel is just 2 min walk from the station. Room was small but quite clean. Great value as we just needed a place to sleep for the night and headed elsewhere in the morning.
This is the third time we have stayed at the Adria, and each time we have been treated like family! This is the only place we will ever stay in Bari.
