The Astoria is a family-run 4-star hotel at the start of Rapallo's seaside promenade. An Art Nouveau villa, it offers free Wi-Fi and elegant rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. Most rooms overlook the Tigullio Gulf. All rooms feature classic furnishings, a minibar and a tea/coffee maker. The rooms on the 1st floor offer a large, furnished terrace with sea views. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet and it is available from 07:30 until 10:00. Guests of Hotel Astoria enjoy special rates at nearby restaurants, private beaches. Wonderful position. Front desk staff fantastic.car parking right at hotel .hotel is near railway station. Also near ferry to Positano . Just a fantastic position Feel that the bathrooms need up dating. Our bathroom had a toilet seat that did not fit the toilet.also had to pay for wi fi.

The great, helpful and welcoming staff. Location is the best possible for restaurants, shops and the ferry to Portofino. The room is comfortable and spacious though not modern. The 18 Euros charge for parking space. It's well worth though.

Great location. Good service. Staff help to park my car, assist with luggage, tour suggestions etc. Shower cubicle was extremely small. Difficult to shower.

Pleasant stay in the hotel. Staff very friendly. Very close to the beach. Clean room. Bathroom a bit to small regarding room size even more with two kids. The bathroom definitely need some refreshment. Few parking place are under surveillance but outside.

Friendliness of staff. Each staff member was more than helpful in helping us in all matters such as parking, dinner recommendations, maps, train schedules, stores, etc. We had a dog with us and they were all very accommodating. We had a very pleasant weekend thanks to the hotel and its staff.

This is an old, grand hotel in a magnificent location overlooking the Rapallo harbor and seaside. The manager is very welcoming and service is excellent. This hotel has seen better days and is in the process of needed renovations. We were two mature couples and had two of the best rooms, but they have not been well maintained and cleanliness was not a four-star standard. Renovations may well result in a rate rise, but it may still be worth the wonderful location.

The staff was friendly. Room had a great view. The hotel was in a great location. I did not think the rooms (bathrooms were in good condition). The beds were very uncomfortable. I and some other people on the tour thought the mattresses were too hard.

The view from our room was absolutely fabulous! It almost didn't look real it was so perfect. The rate is a bit pricey for the amenities offered, but I guess you pay for the view.

Hotel Astoria is located right on the seafront with great access to beach, ferry, shops, bars and restaurants, The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are great and the rooms are cleaned and tidied every day just as they should be. Parking at 18Euro a day is a little expensive. Noise from the main road outside can sometimes be a slight problem at night. The bathrooms are a little small but this is what you should expect from hotels in Italy.

The location is perfect, opposite the beach and very close to the restaurants, shopping area and the pier to board any boat trips. The staff were very helpful and polite and friendly. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the beach which was great to relax on and look out at the ocean.

Dit hotel ligt vlak aan zee, op 100 meter van het verkeersvrije centrum en op 300 meter van de veerboot. Een ideale locatie dus! Langsheen de zeedijk (op 200 meter van het hotel) vind je ook het meest populaire (=goed en goedkoop) restaurant nl. Nettuno. Donderdag is het marktdag (op de piazza voor het hotel) met parkeerproblemen als gevolg. De kamer is ruim net als de badkamer. Pluspunten zijn tevens de airco en de mini- bar(=kleine koelkast). Geluidsisolatie is degelijk. Tip: vraag naar een kamer met uitzicht op zee! Het ontbijtbuffet is verzorgd maar basic. Toch is dit viersterrenhotel er maar drie waard. De lift is klein en de kamers hebben duidelijk een opfrisbeurt nodig. De televisie biedt enkel een 10-tal tweederangs Italiaanse zenders(géén enkele buitenlandse zender!). Voor draadloos internet dient betaald: gemiddeld 3 euro per uur! Het hotel maakt duidelijk misbruik van beveiligde privé-parkeergelegenheid vlak aan het hotel: het kost 18 euro per dag (beperkt tot 15 plaatsen) !!! Dit hotel is eigenlijk té duur volgens geboden kwaliteit. Nog een tip: Portofino is een mooi haventje maar overgewaardeerd. Een parkeerplaats kost je 5,50 euro per uur! De vermaarde wandeling naar de vuurtoren is mooi maar eigenlijk heel gewoon...

Hotel ligt op een mooie locatie, direct aan de boulevard, met mooi uitzicht op haven, omgeving en strand. Vriendelijk personeel. Rapallo was erg gezellig, wel druk. Sanitair badkamer was aan vernieuwing toe. Onbijt was simpel, weinig keuze, tegen betaling was er meer te krijgen, verse jus-eieren. Broodjes niet altijd vers!

La colazione a buffet per essere un albergo a quattro stelle era scarsa; il personale nella sala colazione non era molto cordiale ma piuttosto frettoloso e scostante.
