The staff and owners are very nice and friendly, location is excellent, just in front of the sea.

This is an old, grand hotel in a magnificent location overlooking the Rapallo harbor and seaside. The manager is very welcoming and service is excellent.

This hotel has seen better days and is in the process of needed renovations. We were two mature couples and had two of the best rooms, but they have not been well maintained and cleanliness was not a four-star standard. Renovations may well result in a rate rise, but it may still be worth the wonderful location.

Welcoming and very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Location on sea front a great location. We arrived by train and were able to walk from the station.

Very friendly owner, it was nice that he could speak dutch. Not far from the highway which was easy because we were just passing through. We will surely book here again.

The great, helpful and welcoming staff. Location is the best possible for restaurants, shops and the ferry to Portofino. The room is comfortable and spacious though not modern.

The 18 Euros charge for parking space. It's well worth though.

Situation à 50 m de la mer, de la plage et du port, à 2 pas du centre ville et de la promenade du bord de mer. Hôtel très propre et calme. Accueil chaleureux et personnel très sympathique. Rapport qualité/prix excellent.

Durante il nostro soggiorno (6 giorni) presso l' Hotel Astoria abbiamo apprezzato la cordialità e la disponibilità di tutto lo staff dell' Hotel anche nell'assistere gli ospiti con consigli ed indicazioni turistiche pratiche relative alle località visitabili con suggerimenti sui mezzi di trasporto più convenienti con informazione anche sugli orari ed I punti di partenza. Noi siamo una coppia di ottantenni e, anche a causa delle piogge che hanno imperversato per tutto il periodo, non abbiamo potuto approfittare molto di questa consulenza spontanea, ma abbiamo visto che diverse coppie, più giovani di noi, hanno ampiamente usufruito di questi consigli per le loro escursioni. Da segnalare anche l'ottima posizione panoramica sul golfo di Rapallo e la tranquillità dell'ambiente adatta sia a persone anziane che a persone giovani con o senza bambini. Ottima anche la colazione anche questa adatta dagli 80 ai 3 o 4 anni dei bambini che abbiamo visto pienamente soddisfatti.

Una unica raccomandazione: ricordarsi di prenotare anche un posto macchina all'atto della prenotazione: costa 15 Euro al giorno, ma evita grosse difficoltà di parcheggio in zona.
