It’s not like a hotel per say, is more like an apartment mixed with a hotel for example: you have your own room, en-suite, fridge, TV and get a morning breakfast hung on your door (selection of crackers, pastries & bread) but you have the freedom of an apartment as you get your own set of keys and you come and go as you please (no waiting for some old man to let you in at 3 O’clock in the morning). Over all there is so much to see in Rome you will spend very little time in your room. If I went back to Rome I would have no problem staying here again. |

Really enjoyed the hotel, it is more of a bed and breakfast unit that doesn't cost a bomb. The staff are excellent, rooms are the cleanest i have ever stayed in. Location to some of the sights are good and the main train station in Rome is only a 5min walk. I loved the breakfast left for us daily, croissants, danish and rolls. Juice and coffee in the room, was much nicer than some of the buffets you get at other hotels. We travelled with our child and our friends had another room with child and also agreed it was a great stay. |

Our stay at the Aenea Hotel was wonderful; my mother and I spent Christmas at the hotel the staff were very helpful especially Haman, giving advice on what to do. We had a beautiful room, high ceilings, light an airy, comfortable beds and a lovely terrace. The location is excellent... we recommend this hotel. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. |

Price worthy hotel, near the Maria Maggiore church and Termini Station, in a calm street, 2nd floor of a Condominio. Big room for 3 persons on the street side, with clean bathroom. Nice man welcoming us in the late evening hours. No noise from other guests or from the streets. Quite, calm, basket with lot of sandwiches, croissants and pastry on the door in the morning. Having our own Nespresso machine and enough for a decent breakfast (and even left for lunchtime). |

Excellent location, easy going, Nespresso device in the room and nice staff. A bit noisy from the corridor, e.g. opening doors and locks. |

The Inn is located near the main train station and just a short walk away from most of the large tourist sites (Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc). The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The next time we go back to Rome, I'd happily stay here again thanks to the excellent service we received here. |

Aenea was difficult to find, but well worth it. When I booked the only concern I had was that the hotel is near Termini, an area which some people have said is not very safe, however Aenea is located in a nice quiet street, a decent enough distance away from Termini to be convienient walking distance to all the sights. Alessandro was fabulous, gave us a great idea of what to see and when to do it in Rome. We liked the little touches such as the espesso machine in the room, and biscuits to nibble on. Breakfast of pastries also comes with breads selection in a paper bag- enough for lunch too! |

Felt like we were not staying in a hotel, but someone's extra bedroom. Finding it -- very difficult to find, sign is not lit up or able to see it in the dark. |

Great location for major tourist sites in Rome. Great for a short stay. Price was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Beds a little hard, but they were in all the hotels that we stayed in Rome. Breakfast is just different pastries and croissants, but breakfasts in other hotels that we stayed in weren't much better. Enough to get you started. It is located on the second floor of a condo building, but that didn't cause any problems. There is a very small elevator if you have trouble with stairs. Not a luxury hotel, but met our needs for the three days that we stayed. |

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It's very clean and in a great location. I loved the design of the room and the view from the window (room 4). It's great to have a fridge in the room as you can store food if you don't want to eat out all the time or get extra stuff for breakfast. It can be a bit noisy with guests coming and going in the evening. I had to buy earplugs so as not to be woken up by noise. With earplugs it was fine and I would stay there again. The cornetti you get in the morning could have been a bit more 'Roman'. |

The breakfast is in the room - daily plenty of tea&coffee+1 beverage+biscuits+2 croissants+even your own expresso machine (1 per person). Very helpfull staff. Only 600 m from termini. Near to the Colloseum area. The bath was too small for me, I couldn't knee. There is no 24 hour shift on the reception, so you should call them to tell them if you are going to come in after hours. This a hotel on the second and third floor in a old historical apartment building, so there are problems with elevators and heating, but in Italy thats the majority of cheap hotels. |

Good location. The hotel is different in that it is two adapted floors of an old traditional city building and doesn't have a normal hotel entrance. You go in and out as if it was a city apartment. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is a selection of breads and croissants delivered outside your room every morning and there is enough to keep you going while walking round the city. A good selection of teas, coffees and fruit juice are left in the room each day. Excellent hotel for a base to explore historic Rome. |

The room was spacious and there was a good mattress on the double bed. The reception was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting major sites from antiquity on foot; also, a metro station is close by. While the bathroom was acceptable, the shower was tiny. However, the water flow was adequate. |

Big long room with private terrace and daybed. Full of character/felt like living in a modest Rome apartment (building itself is a residental block). Pics don't do it justice. Friendly staff. Quiet and private. Nespresso machine in room greatly appreciated! |
