Very good,
Score from 494 reviews
“ We were in Aenea Superior Inn in January 2013. It is not a hotel in usual sense, it is a part of the storey in the residential building. We lived in the triple room.The room was big, devided into to parts: bedroom and small living room. It had a perfect view to the Church. ”

Quirky quintessential Rome experience; feels secure with attentive English speaking service; homey feeling and quiet; though not totally central it is an easy walk from train station and to most key tourist attractions and inner city; good free internet; Very hard to find for the first time as no obvious signage is on outside of building and even when you enter into a large marble dark apartment type foyer need to walk to 2nd floor before knowing it’s the correct destination (bit spooky at first); suit is very cramped and shower very weak with flaky temperature regulation; baked goods left for breakfast are so-so; Rome prices are high but I found this not be a real bargain;

Convenient and an easy walk from Termini station. It is well secured and we felt safe and secure. Staff is helpful and makes good recommendations! The wifi works well. Our arrival was delayed by circumstances beyond our control (Ryanair nightmare) so we were hit with their 50% no show fee for the first night out of two, but it was still worthwhile. They were booked so we were unable to arrange any additional nights beyond original booking. If it's during the warm season ask for specifics on how to operate the a/c unit...the remote is confusing and its difficult to control the unit.

Friendly staff and really pay attention to customers' need. One more small table in the room for putting things on would be great.

Excellent location. Very helpful staff for recommendations to sightsee. Room was very clean with kitchenette available...felt very homey. As with most hotels in Europe, the showers are very very small and the beds are extra firm.

We loved the staff at the Aenea - they were truly wonderful to us. Very hospitable and acommodating from the beginning to the end. Alessandro, who greeted us, was so helpful and sincere when offering us info on where to go and what to do. Gave us a map and told me where I could get the best coffee! Not that it is necessary, but he and the other night manager (?) spoke English very well which alleviated some of that anxiety. This was my third trip to Rome, and each visit I've stayed at different places...slowly moving up in price. We will definitely stay here again. The location is walking distance to nearly everything and with the metro system there, it was perfect. The room was always made up when we got back in the afternoon and there was plenty of hot water. Wifi was fast and free :) What more could you really expect? I honestly didn't expect how above and beyond they went for us - especially since I've stayed in apartments-gone-hotel before. Every morning you get fresh baked breads and the morning we left, it was too early (4:30 am), but they still against our wishes bought us some bread and treats to take with us the night before. They even arranged our transportation to the airport, no problem. It was really wonderful and we really appreciated it. We had just come from a 16 day transatlantic luxury cruise prior to our 4 night stay at the Aenea, and even with having so much done for us on the cruise, the hospitality of the Aenea Staff was right up to par with that of our cruise. Thank you alessandro & staff for your gracious hospitality! It was my best stay in Rome and we will always come back. I read a lot about signage and stuff, but that's just how it is in Rome. There is a buzzer with their name on it and that should be sufficient for anyone. There are no electronic card keys, but it's got that rustic feel and it was totally cool to use the keys to the building. It was like you lived there :)

We stayed in the studio room with a small terrace. It was very pleasant to sit outside on a hot evening and enjoy a drink. It was also lovely to wake to the sound of birds rather than traffic. The hotel is an easy walk from Termini train station and is central for a walk to all of the major attractions. There is a metro station just up the road if you do not wish to walk. The staff were very helpful, especially in arranging a restaurant booking for us for our first night in Rome. As the hotel is not easy to find they were outside waiting for us on arrival. They also arranged a car to take us to Fiumicino airport - it arrived on time and was good value as it took all the stress out of the trip. The breakfast baskets of freshly baked goods and the Nespresso coffee machine made for a great start to the day. We would certainly stay here again. Very small and difficult shower to use.

The location was absolutely amazing, close to central station and in walking distance to Coloseum and Forum. Specious apartment in beautifully renovated historical building with a high ceilings. Very helpful staff who was there to meet all our requests. Nespresso coffee machine as a bonus to get the right vibe of the city and country. :) I am planning to come back to Rome and to stay in this aparthotel. I am fully recommending to a group of friends or families to stay in. High standard of accommodation, modern and clean interior and location, location, location....

I could only repeat some of previous reviews, because everythung was already mentioned: close to Termini, city center. Colloseum, Metro Station (about 10 min), very easy to reach any part of Rome. Very friendly staff. Cards with "wise thoughts" - great idea (each day the put a small card on the pillow; it created a good mood). Some things in the room was a little bit dusty (lamps, coffee machine, teakettle). It is not connected with everyday cleaning - it was good. But small things were forgotten.

I liked the friendly service and the central location. The staff was very helpful and they were knowledgeable of the area. I did not understand how to get in at first because when we arrived the door was locked, no one was there, and because we are foreigners, we did not have cell service to call and figure out how to get in. In a short while, luckily building residents let us in so we avoided being stuck outside. We then walked in and found the floor and shortly after staff was available to place us. I am happy regardless and would come back since I know the people were so great.

Ananea is a very nice hotel located close to the Termini Station. Though the location is hard to find, the rooms are in traditional, heritage styled ones. The service is very good. The location... Hard to find.

Clean, nice coffee/tea service in the room, including snacks. More than enough pastry/croissants/rolls delivered outside the room every morning. Clean, modern bathroom en suite, with a heated floor. Free Wi-Fi. The staff was available during extended hours, but not around the clock. We were given a cell phone# we never needed to use to reach the staff, and both gentlemen were very helpful in making some reservations for tours and meals as we needed. I'll be back. Minimal signage on the street, this is an apartment building that went condo and the Inn owns a couple floors. We were prepared for this and had good directions and walked there in 10 minutes from Termini station.
