Located just 5 minutes' walk from Monterosso Train Station, Affittacamere Lo Scoglio is set in front of Fegina Beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms with minibar and TV.
Score from 84 reviews Very good
In Monterosso al Mare, the Hotel Souvenir is just a 5-minute walk from the beach.
Score from 319 reviews Very good
This seafront hotel is in the heart of Monterosso in Cinque Terre, only 325 ft from the train station. It has basic rooms with air conditioning and TV.
Score from 375 reviews Good
Just 100 yards from Fegina Beach, Hotel Villa Adriana is set among palm trees. It offers a Ligurian restaurant, a pool, and classically furnished rooms with an LCD TV.
Score from 597 reviews Very good
When this hotel encountered an issue with my reservation it filled the room immediately leaving me no time resolve the situation.
We got a sea view room right on the front with a balcony it was beautiful.
The price, the location and the cleanliness
Too many stairs with no elevator
Location Matress was comfortable Great view Near the beach
No wifi Lots of stairs No breakfast No safe The guy at the desk was not friendly, nor helpful
Food, culture and people
No fridge in the accomadation
Directly across the street from the beach - slept with windows open to the sounds of the waves. Air conditioningworked well. Bathroom spacious. Rooms large. Quiet. Very close to train station. Good places to eat nearby. Room cleaned daily.
No wifi but free wifi located at the beach bar which served food and drink. Breakfast is not included.
They provided us two triple rooms - perfect for six! The rooms were perfect for our needs. The proprietors were very nice and helpful. And of course Monterossa al Mare is fabulous. This hotel is very close to the beach too.
excellent location, air conditioning great
Rooms were somewhat small and basic, no internet access or pool, all of which were available at my sister's hotel which was a similar price
The bathroom and whole place was clean. Beds comfortable. Location excellent; close to train, ocean, restaurants, the great grocery and the best laundry place we found through Europe. A fairly good working air conditioner. Great value. There seem to be two locations. The one where you check in and the one on the main street right across from water. We were in the last one. Had lots of stairs but after all it is Europe and we were quite used to it. Not a traditional hotel but suited us perfectly.
Just 2 minor things. A bit stuffy in second bedroom. Nice to have fan for there. Think there is a window that doesn't open? People on the deck right next to the window. Felt it took away both of our privacy.
The location and nice size room.
We requested a view and didn`t get it.
Loved being so close to the sea, easy walk to old town & start of hike (although we are big walkers; others might find it far to trail/old town restaurants), we had lots of space for family of 4 which was great
Proprieter just gave us keys & left; air conditioner just a machine with a hose we had to attach ourselves; no toilet paper, no one to ask, lock on door broken so had to jimmy around every time we were opening/closing. Table was great to have but damaged & tablecloth dirty; drawer under TV broken & hanging. I know you pay extra for location but some maintenance is due here if asking this price.
Close to beach Good price Easy access to everything Clean
Check in was done poorly by a man who did not introduce himself, did not explain anything and disappeared. I speak Italian so that was not the issue. Drawer was broken, lock very hard to open/broken.
Good location, near train and beaches.
Could not go to sleep before 11 PM because of an outdoor theater next door. Probably not a problem for most people. Climbing the stairs was not ideal, but saving on the cost should make up for that.
Everything is working and is good. Very good location
Breakfast is good, but not as good as last year
We had two rooms in the same building, one with a balcony overlooking the beach. The other more towards the back but still a view of the beach out side windows. We loved just being so close to the beach and the railway station. The room was cleaned each day by a lovely smiley woman.we had the windows a and doors open all night and it was like sleeping in the beach but in a comfortable bed.
Few minutes walk from train station. Air condition, clean, big room
No wifi, no breakfast, no elevator (not convenient for big luggage)
Great location, good staff, close to coffee and a good breakfast in the morning.
Ocean view that we paid for was misleading, could only see a sliver of ocean between buildings on the main floor. Ask for 2 or 3 level. Ants were a problem, not only in the room, but at night on my pillow!
The shower was quite nice, and it was quite modern.
1.) Customer service 2.) Two separating single mattresses called a double bed 3.) Air conditioning 1.) The worker was not very interested in customer service at all, also we had a big difference in opinion in what a double bed is. 2.)This was two small single mattresses put together and called a double bed, they moved during the night, and if you rolled over you would go in the middle... I was told that "in Italy this is a double bed". I have stayed in Italy many times before and stayed on double beds, I feel we were not told the correct specifications for this apartment and think it is expensive for what it is. If you were a couple you would have to sleep completely separate on each mattress next to each other. Me and my friend got a room each and both us had the same experience with the mattress. I DO NOT THINK THEY HAVE ONE DOUBLE BED IN THEIR WHOLE HOTEL 3.) The air conditioning worked on a door that had to be shut for it to work, but the door was broken and didn't shut properly so frequently had issues with this.
Beds were very comfortable, and was close to everything.
THE STAIRS, 7 flights..
Great location (we got an apartment with sea view). Air conditioning was good after it got fixed. Had many towels, room cleaning service was great. Super modern bathroom. Hostel let us avail of small discount on kayak rentals.
Poor value for money. Host was a bit apathetic (seemed to be in a huge rush while checking us in). Air Con didn't work on day one in 30*c + heat. When we notified concierge we were told it would be dealt with day after. It was, but that first night was hell. Main bed comfy, other 2 were rock hard. Only had a fan in 2nd bedroom (no AC). Hard to find check-in location on day one even with map.
personal was extremely helpful and friendly; dogs are welcome; good location with small grocery store around the corner, playground, beach, and restaurants within 2 minute walk, air conditioning
no elevator, but that was only a minor issue
Loved the spacious patio on our Searoom view. The hotel is perfectly placed near the ocean with great views. The room was very clean, great amenities and very comfortable.
No wi-fi access
Fantastic sea view and good location.
Curtains were transparent. The staff were curt and made minimum effort - when shown our room the staff member ran up four flights of stairs without offering us help with our luggage and sighed with impatience as we struggled up. Room and bathroom were very basic given what we paid.
close to everything, including the car park, eating places, the tourist boats.
The stairs were OK, but not fit 60 year olds would have liked a lift. No wifi was awkward, we are on a three month holiday, and like to keep in touch with our children. So maybe we should have booked a place with wifi. Never found the restaurant, but we never asked. Walk from Manarola to Corniglia was closed again! like it was in 2010. Can't blame Anita for that though!
Everything was absolutely perfect. The Location was amazing, literally 30 second walk and your on the beach in Monterosso. Superior double room was everything we needed, nice big bed, good bathroom and shower. Would definitely stay here again.
It was quite expensive for one night, BUT compared to the other hotels we saw in Monterosso it was the cheapest. It's just an expensive area!
