They were so kind to accommodate the lateness of our arrival. The room was lovely.....and so was the bathroom! We were there for two mornings, and both mornings, the breakfast was delicious and generous!! We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Cinque Terra!!
The room was very clean and well furnished. Excellent breakfast with very fresh pastries! Highly recommend! Love the area!
No wifi but the beautiful area makes up for it.
Everything, beautiful home and everything was fantastic. Being looked after by a local is very special.
Especially the Cake & lemon marmalade. Fantastic position in old Monterosso.
Great location in old town Monteroso. Great staff and the best breakfast we had in Italy.
Room was pretty small for two people. Not even any place to sit for a snack in the room. We sat on a little back balcony stairwell just big enough to hold a tiny table.
Confortable beds Nice and quiet room Very kind and agreable service (family) Good breakfast Excellent location
Very quiet and homely room with really nice private bathroom. The location was excellent and close to everything. The host was such a caring lovely woman, who provided the most incredible breakfast every day! It was a feast in itself! Would recommend this place to all.
Great people, good breakfast, lovely interior.
Super clean. Good bed. Great shower. Excellent location; just a bit away from crowds.
Location is in town - shops, activities outside the door. Our room and adjoining bathroom, though small, were very clean and modern. This was the most comfortable bed I encountered in a month of travelling through Italy. There was loads of hot water. The breakfast included was exceptional...including home made lemon marmalade. We walked through the square to the public beach to swim...quite close.
Our room at the top of the house had no view or window. The skylight did not consistently work to open it. The stairs are a challenge with luggage but otherwise easily negotiated. Not suitable for someone with difficulty climbing. The wifi only works consistently in the breakfast room -irritating.
Great accommodation, friendly obliging staff, accessibility to both restaurants and start of the walking trail to Vernazza and the quietness of the location in the authentic part of the village.
No wifi made it difficult for us to make forward train and hotel bookings for our trip.
Clean and the breakfast was excellent.
Bit noisy on Friday night.
A quiet location so no noise but a 2 minute walk to good restaurants, bars, shops - location excellent. A beautiful, home-cooked breakfast each day prepared by the owner - worth staying there for that. Pleasant, helpful staff.
Cesare and his mom great people.. Hotel was very clean and near to center of monterosso. Breakfast eas wonderful.. Thanks Cesare and Rosetta.. Every year we want to come your lovely hotel..
The rooms were quaint and very comfortable. The location is brilliant. The breakfast was the best we had in our whole 3 weeks in Italy.
My wife and I visited Cinque Terre on our honeymoon and decided to stay here based on some great reviews and the fact that it was located in "old Monterosso." We arrived after a rather long day of travel to finally find this little tucked away gem and absolutely loved our stay. Make sure you wake up for breakfast as it was the best we had while in Italy. The staff was wonderful, and it was so quiet and relaxing. Just down the road is a fabulous placed called Ristorante Ciak and was without a doubt the best meal we had while there! I would highly recommend staying here and we know that we'll be back!
Very personal, great location, good breakfast
No wifi, but knew that up front
Perfect location directly in monterosso quite because at the end of the street Lovly breakfast where everthing is made fresh by the owner
A bit difficult if you can not speak italien
Very good location and the breakfasts were fantastic. We had an early departure and breakfast was waiting for us before we had to leave which was a nice surprise and certainly not expected.
It was in a great location ,The breakfasts were beautiful and the staff very Helpfull
Great breakfast, neat town location, air conditioning, friendly hosts, newly renovated, own bathroom, good base to hike and train and boat and beaches
Our host was extremely hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and good variety, with freshly cooked warm food a great personal touch. Room was modern with aircon an unexpected bonus. Location handy to all areas, and back entrance great in allowing you to come and go when it suited. A wonderful place to stay.
Very safe and very quiet. Beautifully designed and decorated. Comfortable bed and wonderful fresh breakfast. The best room, bathroom and best breakfast we had our entire vacation. Friendly warm staff.
High price and no view.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! The location was perfect. Honestly, the whole experience was, in a word, ideal. We saw London, Paris, and Pisa on this trip and this was our favorite stop for sure.
Nothing stands out. The host, I suppose he was an owner, spoke zero English, which could have been bad, but he did speak some French, as I do, so everything worked out perfectly. He called his son, who translated over the phone, so that also worked out well.
Lovely, simple and traditional. The hosts are charming and friendly. Breakfast was so good.
