Really nice comfortable room. Clean and well decorated. We had a balcony from the second floor onto the street from were we could see various bell towers. Located in the historic centre. Giussepe was friendly and gave us good advice on places to visit. He could speak English but humoured me as I wanted to practice my Italian

No staff based in the hotel means that if you need anything it might be tricky... But we didn't so it was fine. No breakfast offered, but the town is full of incredible bakery shops so it was not a problem.

Large room in the historic centre. One of the best of all the ceramic shops is very close. Quite good restaurant somewhat downhill towards the famous La Scala. Don't miss the town hall bar close to La Scala m

Très bien situé. Le propriétaire est aussi le restaurateur de la pizzéria du même nom. Nous y avons soupé et avons été traité "aux petits oignons"; le restaurateur étant manifestement trés heureux de nous y voir et nous y avons très bien mangé: pizza excellente (mais trop copieuse pour nos appétits; elle nous a fait un excellent repas de midi le lendemain), antipasti succulent et comme nous n'en avions pris qu'un pour deux, notre hôte a offert d'office des bruschetta succulentes, et après le dessert, une dégustation d'alcool local,,,, bref nous avons été gâtés. Par ailleurs, la pizzéria est surtout fréquentée par les Siciliens du coin, gage de qualité. Bonne adresse!

peut-être prévoir (heureusement ce n'était pas un problème pour nous) des valises étroites car l'escalier est étroit et abrupt...

We stayed one night in early September 2012. Its location is great for exploring the old town. Clean and comfortable, generous sized bed/living room and huge bathroom. Free internet great. Tasty light italian style breakfast of pastries and coffee delivered to your room. Owners restaurant is close by and offers good value meals - great pizza! Parking a very short walk away (~70m) but was easy to find a spot. Would recommend as a great place to stay as so central to main sights in town.

Gps reception problems in the built up narrow streets of old town made it a challange to find the right street using that alone. Handy to have a good old paper map and directions just in case.

I could fault nothing, it was superb. I also ate at the owners restaurant and had a wonderful meal and evening. It was obvious that he had a lot of locals and regulars that ate there and it was a lovely atmosphere.

The location of this affitacamera is excellent. The room was spacious and fairly comfortable although the bed was a bit hard. It is an economic place.

When we arrived there was no one there. You have to ring a phone number. As we don't have an Italian phone we tried sending an sms message. After much waiting and wondering someone came and opened the door and we were able to get in. They gave us the keys then rushed out. That was the last time we saw anyone. The room smelt a little of cigarette smoke which we detest. The worst was the bed and the sofa. We will try not to book affitacameras in future.

Nice accomodation in the center of the city, a bit difficult to find; call the owner upfront and he will guide you there. Parking at the backside of the house just some meter uphill walk. The breakfast was served in the room at the agreed time, very stylish on a serving table.The owner operates a Pizzeria nearby. Quiet location, very central. I was the only guest that night (in March). Huge rooms, nicely furnaged.

Riesige Zimmer in einem schön restaurierten alten Haus, inmitten der historischen Altstadt von Caltagirone. Von unserem Balkon aus konnte man auf einen barocken Campanile sehen. Alles blitzsauber und funktionell. Der Wirt betreibt auch das gleichnamige Restaurant wenige Gehminuten entfernt, welches ebenfalls eine Empfehlung wert ist. Man kann die Zimmer auch ohne Frühstück buchen und statt dessen morgens in eine der angesagten Bars zum Cappuccino mit Cornetto einfallen.

Leider ist auch hier wieder eine ziemlich befahrene Straße vorm Haus. Wer gern mit offenem Fenster schläft, braucht Ohrstöpsel oder gute Nerven.

La efficiente ristrutturazione di un vecchio palazzo con infissi silenziosi, l'ampiezza della camera, la tranquillitá del BeB comunque a pochi passi dal cuore di Caltagirone, un parcheggio impagabile.

Non sapevo che per avere chiavi e camera si dovesse telefonare, poiché il proprietario non vive nel palazzo. Comunque, I numeri del telefono sono visibili nel portone e in pochi secondi ci hanno consegnato la stanza.

La posizione centrale e il rapporto tra qualità e prezzo pagato. Vi consiglio di servirvi del ristorante omonimo che si trova nelle immediate vicinanze del b&b.

L'accueil chaleureux de l'hotellier et la chambre spacieuse, agréable et calme comme dans un hotel particulier.

Le petit-déjeuner est servi en chambre mais il n'y a pas de choix : une petite tasse de café, un croissant à la crème et 2 biscottes! C'est un peu décevant mais le restaurant de l'hotel est , en revanche, très bien!

Het hotel ligt in een van de leuke spannende smalle kronkelende straatjes van het centrum, waar het ontzettend moeilijk manouvreren is met de auto en je soms hulp nodig hebt van een hulpvaardige passant om je schadevrij door het straatje of om de bocht heen te helpen.

La Piazzetta ist für einen Aufenthalt in der wunderbaren Stadt Caltagirone vorzüglich geeignet. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sehr groß und mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet. Beide hatten ein kleines "Balkönchen". Via L. Sturzo ist eine lebhafte Straße, aber bei geschlossener Balkontür stört dies nicht. Alle Sehenswürdigekeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Wirt und das Personal sind überaus freundlich. Frühstück im Hotel braucht man in Caltagirone nicht. Es gibt genügend gute Bars im Zentrum. Wir essen auf Sizilien zum Frühstück ohnehin stets das Gleiche wie die Sizilianer: Granita und Brioche. In den Hotels erhält man das leider zumeist nicht. Ein Anruf beim Wirt (Tel. Nr. steht groß auf den Schild am Eingang) bei Ankunft genügt, er kommt sofort angedüst und hilft beim Parken und beim Transport der Gepäcks. Natürlich freut er sich, wenn man in seinem Restaurant isst und macht seinen Gästen auch 'mal einen günstigen Sonderpreis.

Hotel fantastyczny. Cena w stosunku do jakości usług jest nie duża. Właściciele bardzo sympatyczni. Posiadają również w okolicy hotelu restaurację, w której serwują fantastycznie jedzenie!!! Polecam wszystkim!!!

Le camere son ampie e silenziose, pulite e decisamente comode. Il bagno e' ampio e la posizione e' centrale e comoda per visitare il paese.

Il proprietario per quanto gentile e disponibile, rintracciabile sempre non e' presente nella struttura.

la posición es muy buena, un aparcamiento justo detrás y toda la ciudad a un tiro de piedra.

Un hotel très bien situé dans les petites rues avec un parking gratuit juste à 50m!! Une chambre ultra spacieuse, avec coin salon , super !

C'est pas vraiment un hotel .....en fait, ce sont des chambres appartenant à la pizzeria du coin donc pas de personnel d'accueil à l'arrivée....il faut téléphoner . Pas très grave, ils sont super reactifs et le lendemain ils arrivent d'un coup de piaggo avec la machine carte bleue avec la farine pleins les mains !!! typique !!!
