We had a large room with a private washroom and a private terrace with sea views, which was amazing. Also enjoyed the rooftop terrace. The location was incredible and great access to the towns by hiking. Arrived by car and had quite the time driving up the mountains to get there, but was part of the fun and adventure. Parking in the town was not a problem and then walked around until we found the hotel. I heard that other rooms did not have a terrace, and that would not have been great at all as that is really what the made room! Be sure to have breakfast at the little place right by the hotel and use the wi-fi. Also have a drink at the bar Nunvo (sp?) and enjoy complimentary local olives. Walk down to the marina (quite the hike up/down hundreds of stairs but worth it) and get nice and close to the sea! Had the place all to myself and climbed over the big rocks to the rocky beach area for a little swim. Paradise!

The owners responses to email inquiries was not timely, if a response received at all.

This is a lovely hotel, clean, modern and very comfortable. It's relaxing being able to hear the waves (when we could, see below!) at night with the windows open after a long day trekking Cinque Terre, and the views of Manarola from the terrace are wonderful. Corniglia is the highest village so if you have kids/heavy luggage/fitness issues catch the green Cinque Terre bus from the train station to the top of the village. Don't try finding the place yourself, ask for Cristian (he's the only one) in any of the cafes or shops in the village and he will come and get you and help with luggage (which I needed help with!). The place in not staffed and it's hard to find anyway, so you'll be wasting your time if you don't ask for him first to give you keys and show you the way. We had no issues with check in after asking for him in town when we arrived.

Like most older buildings there is no sound proofing. Cornigila is a very quiet village so usually this wouldn't be an issue, however we were staying at the same time as some incredibly rude and inconsiderate guests who thought we'd all like the soundtrack to their private life on half a dozen occasions during our short stay waking us every time, followed by incessant showering/bathroom usage etc setting the pipes above us clanking. If you do prefer some shut eye so you can enjoy what Cinque Terre has to offer (and you need it for those walks), I recommend bringing some earplugs just in case (or using anything else you see fit in shutting up annoying people!!).

The view from the room was incredible, and even better from the rooftop patio!

There was no reception, but it wasn't that bad because the town was so small and we just asked at a near-by caffe to call the owner when we needed something.

Since there were no breakfast at the hotel it could be à good idea to have à small fridge in the rooms.

The Location of the Hotel is wonderfull.

The rooms are damp, not very clean and the hotel staff is not friendly, there are young people that takes advantage of their vacation home, without knowing anything about education.

Great location after climbing the steep route to the top of Corniglia. Beautifully presented room and rapid response from the owners to my request to let me in upon arrival. Right in the heart of the village, so a good spot to sample all the amenities from.

Hotel was average but the village it's located at is awesome! Room was small but sufficient. Great overview from the top terrace!

Pretty clean room, but something was wrong with sewage system, so in the mornig it started to smell unpleasantry.

Owner or custodian needs to be more available to open rooms when travellers arrive, and sign with location and ph contact needs to be clearer and larger

The balcony was great. Amazing views and watching sunset from there with a bottle of wine is the height of peaceful relaxation.

Make sure you either get there early or call ahead to see if you can get the room with a balcony. Otherwise your window looks out at the alley. But if you don't plan to spend time in the room and just sit on the rooftop patio, it's just fine. Also, walk toward the statue in the smaller square from where you reach the top of the huge flight of stairs (or alternatively wait for the national park bus to come and drive you - just a very small fee and worth it if you're lugging backpacks) and see the bigger square. There will be stairs going up to your left hand side - keep going up those stairs and across from an overlook is the hotel. No staff on hand but just call the number, or simply go to one of the little cafes/bars in the small square and ask for Christian or Alison. They call them right up - funny but it works.

There were no signs when we arrived showing us where to go. We walked around for an hour with our small children and were told different directions by three different people. When we finally found the hotel, we knocked and another guest came to let us in. He helped us call the owner (we were never given a number). We waited for more than an hour before the other guest and my husband went into town looking for the owner. He was found by some other villagers, watching the football game in a bar. He was angry to have to deal with us and told us we had to pay in cash, which is not what we were told at booking. He told us he would meet us at ten to collect the money but never returned.

Great location! Clean and convenient. The terrace was cute.

Fantastic views from the roof terrace.

Room had only a small window overlooking neighbors terrace and mountain view. No A/C and no T.V. and no phone. Very very small room for the two of us without any place to store our luggage or clothing. Way too many stairs to climb from city center. Had to go to local bar to call a staff person. Room wasn't cleaned everyday. Asked upfront to pay cash, which we refused and then the credit card machine was finally made available.

Located in the heart of Corniglia Affittacamere La Torre had a spectacular outlook over the Mediterranean. Close to the restaurants and other shops and in the middle of the Cinque Terra an ideal place to stay to expore the area.

I was with my wife for two nights at this Hotel on 14th and June 15th. Upon arriving at the train station site, I called the hotel together to help us get to the hotel with our bags, as we were not conheciomento regualares transport and the owner just ignored us. Arriving at the hotel the key was delivered by a "friend" so that the owner gave the key was gone and from this moment we have not had ANY contact with any person or representative of the hotel, about to leave when we left the keys themselves in hotel since there was no one to deliver them. Finally a day to day our towels were NOT even exchanged. In summary the property is good localiozado well, but the service since our arrival was TOTAMENTE WEAK AND AWAY.

Very picturesque setting. The rooftop terrace provided magnificent views of the sea and the town and is available to all the guests. Only 4 rooms, so it was uncrowded and quiet.

Maybe clearer instructions of how to get to the rooms from the train station. Also an indication of what to do after one leaves the station. Ie catch the bus to the top of the hill.

The hotel is in Corniglia.

The shower curtain is not effective at keeping water within the shower, but there is a sign threatening financial penalty if the floor is wet.
