On-street free parking is available on a first-come first-serve basis and paid parking is available up the street at the station. Our room was bright, airy, with A/C, lots of hot water in the shower, the most comfortable bed and bedding we’ve experienced, plush towels, and a coffee immersion heater. There was no noise from the trains or traffic. Luca, Signora Cozzani’s son, is fluent in English and is a great guide for the area. The included breakfast is provided by a café just down the street.
The train station is a few hundred feet away from which we took two trips to the Cinque Terre towns as well as separate trips to Pisa, Florence and Genoa. An easy walk down the pedestrian walkway across the street takes you to the harbor from which you can take either a bus or boat to explore Porto Venere, a UNESCO site; the boat was our choice. Affittacamere Lunamar was just what we wanted.
