Few facilities, staff not available most of the time

Spotlessly clean room and linen and shared bathroom. I would recommend it if a. the reception was available all day AND if the breakfast was improved.

I regreted not knowing that the place was locked all day - ie no reception.' Secondly the breakfast was disgraceful - idle waitress had to be asked to bring hot water (when it came it was only luke warm warm} and on both mornings there was no coffee (because "it still hadn't been delivered")

The excellent support of the hotel manage, Victorio, and the excellent location in the middle of everything in Lucca

The guy in the reception was great, very good sense of humour and whatever was missing from the hotel he really made it up by being so friendly and funny. Location was excellent, only a couple of minutes from Piazza Dell Amfitheatro and shopping street. Nice to have tea and coffee making facilities and a bit ready packed breakfast, served us well because we had an early start in the morning.

Room and facilities were a bit dated, but still okay. A bit of a queue to the showers in the morning. The doors and locks need a bit of wd40.

The innkeeper was very helpful and personable. Room was nice.

Warm welcome by cheerfull Vittorio. Nice old building. We booked two en-suite single bedrooms, but got big double rooms instead. We loved the decoration in the rooms and the bathrooms were ok. The biggest plus is the great location within the city walls of beautiful Lucca. All the main sights, shops and restaurants only metres away. Parking easy to find and just 10 mins away on foot outside the city walls (the old centre of Lucca is a car-free zone, driving and parking is only allowed for residents and for charging/discharging luggage). We loved it!

The "do-it-yourself" breakfast in the rooms didn't look very appealing. But we left very early anyway so we took our breakfast at the airport.

Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind freundlich, aber sehr unprofessionell. Es dauerte ungefähr eine Stunde, bis jemand morgens zur normalen Rezeptionszeit zur Verfügung stand, um mich einzuchecken. Ein Zimmer wie durch booking.com reserviert (Einzelzimmer mit Bad) stand auch dann nicht zur Verfügung - ich akzeptierte ein Zimmer mit einem separatem Bad, durch das Frühstückszimmer zu erreichen. Beim Bezug dieses Zimmers schaltete sich die Notbeleuchtung an: auf dem Stockwerk war der Strom ausgefallen. Ich machte auf italienisch klar, daß ich erwartete, abends wieder Strom zu haben. Das war allerdings auch um zehn Uhr nachts nicht der Fall, und ich konnte beim Licht meiner Taschenlampe zu Bett gehen. Ein patentes Zimmermädchen zeigte mir dann am nächsten Morgen, wie man den Strom auf dem Stockwerk durch Abschalten von Klimaanlagen im Hotel wieder hochfährt. Es versteht sich von selbst, daß ich an dem Tag das Hotel wechselte.

Ottima posizione, in una traversa della via principale. Staff molto accogliente e disponibile.

Miła obsługa, bardzo fajny klimat hotelu, choć pokoje ciasne:) Lokalizacja bardzo fajna.

Niet van toepassing. Bij aankomst bleek dit hotel net overgenomen te zijn en wij stonden niet op de gastenlijst. Hotel was vol. Er werd in eerste instantie niet persoonlijk met ons gecommuniceerd, men "dook" meteen in de telefoon en hield ons niet op de hoogte van wat er aan de hand was. Uiteindelijk bleek er een appartement beschikbaar om de hoek. Zeer gehorig en veel herrie vd straat, maar dat hoort ook wel een beetje bij zo'n Italiaans stadje. Jongeman in hotel liet uiteindelijk wel blijken dat ie het allemaal erg vervelend vond voor ons.

Ontbijt bestaat uit voorverpakt croissantje en cake en een pakje sap....(ook in het hotel dus...)

Helt, rent och fräscht. Centralt läge med närhet till butiker, restauranger och sevärdheter. Mycket gästvänlig, hjälpsam och trevlig personal, det gav en personlig känsla.

Lyhört ut mot gatan. Inte så rolig frukost.
