Luis was a very kind concierge. Bathrooms were kept clean. Breakfast is good and the staff in the restaurant is very kind.
Had a very old TV on the room having problems. The air conditioning broke at 5:00 am and made a terrible noise - had to switch rooms.
The room was very clean.
Female who was in attendance when we arrived was not helpful, offered no assistance except to answer a specific question.Other staff we met later were very helpful.
Near to metro station, great and cheap pizzeria. Clean room, fridge in room.
Easy to reach the metro on the green line. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good variety. We were able to store our luggage without a problem.Staff was friendly and could speak English.
Considering that it's only a 3* hotel, we liked it better then the 4* we stayed at the day after Milan in Bologna. Comfortable, friendly receptionstaff, clean.
Can't come up with anything other that the sliding door entrance's automatic sensor to open is a bit slow :)
Metro just around the corner.
Shower very tiny.
Well the Air-conditioner in the room was not working. Upon check-in we informed the receptionist of the same. He informed us he would look into it. We left to do some errands and get a meal, and on our return late evening the room was like a furnace as the a/c was not on and not working. Once again we complained of the same to the receptionist Nicholas and requested him to change our room as we would not be able to sleep the night. Instead of helping us he turned out to be very arrogant and rude and started accusing us and saying all sort of things. We were polite initially but his accusations were baseless and we requested to see the manager or his senior. He mentioned none were available. He spoke to someone on the phone and kept us standing there for a while. Finally instead of moving us to one Quad room that was initially booked he put us in 2 separate rooms which was not practical for us as we were travelling with 2 older children. That too not interconnecting. Staff Nicholas had no customer ethics/rude and most arrogant. The worst employee that we have ever met in the hotel industry. Instead of our trip to Milan being memorable, it was a nightmare for my family and wanted to leave the country asap. Having travelled from a long flight from USA, you would expect to get some rest and a good night's sleep. That was not the case here. We have sworn never to visit Milan again after the horrific/stressful experience we faced here. Note we are frequent travellers and have travelled various parts of the world but this has been our worst experience.
Lovely room with every in-room amenity you'd want. All European rooms are a little small for 4 people in one room, our room was comfortable. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. They recommended a great affordable restaurant just steps away, and assisted with planning for an easy stop into the centre of Milan (use the metro, park out of the centre !).
First it was listed as close to the airport, then a very reasonable price, so we tried it. It was a very friendly, family owned/run motel, ready to please. The hotel food was great. An added, inexpected bonus, in one of the rooms of the hotel was a independent car rental copany. After comparing prices, we rented a brand new, zero miles, red Fiat, for 20% less than the cost of those advertised online in the large companies. So instead of returning the car to the crowded, busy airport, we-returned it to our hotel location. We stayed 2 nights and later returned for a more night and an early ride to catch the plane. We fully recommend this hotel and we would return again ourselves.
First view of the outside, didn't look like a motel that I was used to, I was concerned, but after staying there, I quickly realized was completely wrong in my judgemen. I chose to book again and I returned a week later and found it a very good place.
nice breakfast, close to a metro
bad neighborhood, poor rooms, broken door lock
The room is quite cosy.
No baby chair at the restaurant.
Everything excellent and very close to metro satiation
Our family from NZ had 4 nights at the Agape. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Internet was great as was the breakfast. Close to the metro.
clean, good breakfast
air conditioner was on full but room is still hot
Easy access to Milan centre. Well appointed rooms Excellent breakfast Helpful staff
A very good hotel. Personnel very helpful and friendly. One of the best breakfasts I ever had (and that for Italy). Very close to metro (15 minutes to the Duomo). Good and cheap restaurant nearby (Stella Maris). We payed about 40 euros for 4 people including 1 litre of wine.
The room was small, but ok what do you expect of a room for 4 people. We only slept there and the beds are good.
The bathroom had bad smell.the aircondition was not strong enough
breakfast, very fresh and delicious, bed is excellent good wifi, staff is very helpful
Breakfast is very good. Room is clean. Staffs are very helpful.
Terrible WiFi quality in my room.
Parking Close to metropolitan Tips for restaurant around
neighbourhood small elevator expensive tourist tax (not only for this hotel of course)
The proximity to the metro
The aircond ... Noisy as a bus what pass 2m in your side. The bathroom small and weird. The bed not realy confortable. The view... Amazing view on the building around (joke).
The Agape Hotel is a few metro stops outside of the city center, but also was much less expensive than the hotels there. It was only a short walk from the metro, and the staff was very helpful. There was a fridge in the room, and small grocery stores and restaurants nearby. They added two single beds to make the room suitable for our family of 4, which made space a bit tight, but the beds and linens were all comfortable and there was no street noise.
The wifi was weak in the rooms, but stronger by the stairs and in the lobby.
rooms are clean and new, breakfast very good, well located
breakfast and private parking are extra
The bedrooms were a pleasant surprise - tastefully decorated.
Unfortunately my first impression of the Agape was a dead cockroach in the lobby! Breakfast wasn't included in our deal and I wasn't going to eat there after that! The carpets in the lobby area were very grubby and stained. Luckily we received a pleasant surprise on entering our rooms, as they were much nicer than I had been prepared for! Also, the hotel is in a very dodgy area. My husband and daughter didn't feel safe when they went for a walk to try (to no avail) to find a restaurant.
