the people where very nice, very good situation to visit the ruins, the Vesuvio, Herculanum Nice terrace, nice bar very cheap!
The staff are super friendly and helpful. They gave us useful information about visiting the ruins and the town.
This hostal is really good and clean. The staff are friendly and always there to help when you need something. Outdoor area is excellent. Spacious rooms. Big bathroom. Good heating system. We went bit late night and the staff welcome us in a very friendly manner and helped us to park the car safe and helped us bring our luggage into the rooms. Recommend any travelers to book this place.
The staff is very nice and helpful.
Even with the heater on, the place is a bit cold (I was there in december).
Location was great, staff are so helpful, showed us where and how to get about, the best sights, the best restaurants, we would certainly stay there again
Not a thing wrong, just fantastic
Staff were very energetic , enthusiastic and helpful. Lorena even looked up ferry schedules and weather for me. Someone was always available for any questions I had. Courtyard outside was beautiful. Everything was very very clean.
Although it is called a hostel, there was not a kitchen to use, however the hosts had plates and cups for use, so I was able to go to a local grocery store for some simple food items. There were not enough plugs for charging electronics in the dorms, however, since the dorm was not full the days I was there, it was not a problem for me.
The hosts were most friendly and particularly helpful and made our stay very enjoyable - thank you very much
The staffs were very kind.
There is only one toilet in the share room. no public toilet in the public area.
Very friendly staff. They were happy to give all sorts of advice.Walking distance to Pompeii ruins
No parking.Anyway it's not a problem. You can just leave your car in the street and pay at the meter.Works out quite cheap.Private car parks charge 10€ a day
Very communicative and friendly stuff creates an atmosphere of visiting friend's place rather than staying in a hostel! Location is close to the station and to the excavation area
Atmosphere and location are great, staff helpful and good value for money
We checked out on the Sunday morning pretty early, left our bags at the hostel and went to the archeological site. The hostel is closed for a couple of hours every morning for cleaning, until 1 pm. We had lunch and got back to the hostel around 1.30 planning to get our bags use the toilet and hang in the lobby until it was time to catch our train. But surprisingly the staff told us we couldn't use the toilet and couldn't stay in the lobby as we already checked out because if the police checked and found us there they would get a fine. This was somewhat weird and never happened to me, in Italy nor elsewhere. I felt it was a total excuse.
Couple who ran hostel was really friendly and helpful. This place exceeded our expectations. Cheap dinners at the hostel were also really good.
Everything. Fantastic attitude of the owners: Lorina & Vincenzo. Friendly atmosphere and wonderous kindness. If you want to find a heavenly haven you should go there to totally recover your soul.
Very kind and helpful staff
Shower could be cleaner
Knowledgable hosts, great recommendations for dining and recreation. Garden and courtyard Good Location Free Moto parking Quiet rooms
Couldn't get wifi in room
Perfect location for a city trip to Pompei. Owners a young and flexible couple who are genuinely interested and extremely nice. We had a cheap but good meal. (While watching some good soccer matches!) Would definitely define it as a Hostel Plus. Good price/quality and we could make use of the private parking space.
We had a private 2-person room. The bathroom was very large but the shower itself somewhat small. Also potentially dangerous if one might slip since it is a bit elevated.
Staff are adorable. Location is great.
Wow! Where do I start? Firstly I think the word ''Hostel'', is here out of place, I would call it more a family owned and run ''Guest House''. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with affection and joy. The owners a young couple, Lorena and Vincenzo together with their friend Catello make an awesome team. Their combined knowledge of the entire area was amazing, they left no question unanswered and were glad to share their knowledge. The location is just fantastic, you are practically in the centre of town and yet you hardly hear any of the bustle surrounding you. The ruins of Pompeii are a casual 10 minute walk away. Restaurants, cafe's and small bars are all around you and very reasonably priced. At this point I must mention that you can also have dinner in the hotel, it basically works like this. Let them know before hand if you wish to dine in and they will prepare a delicious meal for you at an unbeatable price. Excellent tasting food and very well priced. The town of Pompeii has 3 train stations. The National line is about 300m away turning left as you leave the hotel entrance and if you turn right towards the Church, you will reach the Circumvesuviana train about 200m away. This line comes from Naples and goes to Poggiomarino. This is the line you should take from Naples to reach the hotel with ease. The station is called Pompeii. The 3rd station is also a Circumvesuviana train and runs from Naples to Sorrento, stopping at the station named, Pompeii Scavi, villa dei misteri, if you wish only to visit the Pompeii Ruins, then this is your stop. This station is about 1km away from the hotel, an easy and straight forward enough walk but not much fun if your carting luggage.
The place is run by a couple of very nice guys, always ready to help you. Vincenzo gave us good advices about what to do, where to eat and even how to visit the archaeological site of Pompei the best way. Excellent location: 5 minutes walking from the train station, 1 min from the Sanctuary, 5 from the archaeological site. Dinner at the Agorà was also very good and cheap, we had lasagna. Very clean place.
There was a bit of noise when we went to bed because the rooms face the internal garden where people talk and have a drink, but they stopped at around midnight, so not too bad.
Feel like home
The room was comfortable with a big, clean bathroom. The staff were helpful, allowing us to base ourselves from their lobby, even after checkout, so we could visit the local sites easily.
We arrived, hot and sticky and immediately vincenzo made us feel welcome - the room was cool and the little garden terrace area was delightful. Also, just 2 minutes away from the main square. Vincenzo was also very informative.
Breakfast wasn't great but they were happy for you to eat your own food.
Two train stations are very close to the hostel, the owners are so friendly and ready to help with anything, I arrived late due to a delayed plane but they waited up for me despite it was well after check in time. Also the dinner cooked there is amazing!
It was very nice to stay there, the staff is extremely friendly! If you're coming from the train station with luggage, I'd recommend a taxi - maybe try to book a pick up with the hostel, that will be the cheapest way (about 7€). But if you have no luggage, it's ok to walk from the train station... And it's very close from the exit of the ruins, so it's good in the end of the tour to be around the hostel :)
