The room was comfortable with a big, clean bathroom. The staff were helpful, allowing us to base ourselves from their lobby, even after checkout, so we could visit the local sites easily.

We arrived, hot and sticky and immediately vincenzo made us feel welcome - the room was cool and the little garden terrace area was delightful. Also, just 2 minutes away from the main square. Vincenzo was also very informative.

Breakfast wasn't great but they were happy for you to eat your own food.

Two train stations are very close to the hostel, the owners are so friendly and ready to help with anything, I arrived late due to a delayed plane but they waited up for me despite it was well after check in time. Also the dinner cooked there is amazing!

It was very nice to stay there, the staff is extremely friendly! If you're coming from the train station with luggage, I'd recommend a taxi - maybe try to book a pick up with the hostel, that will be the cheapest way (about 7€). But if you have no luggage, it's ok to walk from the train station... And it's very close from the exit of the ruins, so it's good in the end of the tour to be around the hostel :)

Well placed, very close to the archeological zone and the city also (accessible by foot). Hostel clean without noise.

Not a real hostel because no kitchen available for example.

Fabulous room cleaned daily, which was very comfortable. Vincenzo and Lorena our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were a wealth of information about local attractions, bus and train times and sights worth seeing. A very pleasant couple nothing too much trouble. Meals were cheap and delicious. We would definitely stay again.

Walls between rooms are thin so noise travels easily but we realise this can't be helped.

The staff consist of a couple who also own the hostel. They are both great hosts and very welcoming who let you treat the hostel as if it were your own home. Room was okay, a lot of space to move around and came with a en suite bathroom with a shower. Location is about 10 minute walk from the ruins and is in the center of modern Pompeii. Nice size garden available to use.

No personal lockers but the owner has several he has the key to that available for use.

Great location for the Pompei ruins site (about 10 min walk). Lovely garden area. The owner cooks a fantastic dinner, the best we ate in the whole of Italy!!! They are very friendly and helpful with anything you need to know before visiting the site. We had a great time!

Our bedroom didn't have a window (but it didn't bother us too much as we were mainly there to sight see)

The owners are fabulous and very helpful. The meals were excellent. This hotel is a work in progress and the young couple who run it seem to really care about making it better.

There was no bath soap provided and no fresh towels daily. Wifi did not work in the rooms. These small things are easily correctable.

The couple who runs this hostel is very friendly and speaks good English. They recommended a great restaurant and had reasonably priced breakfast too. Close to Circumvesuviana Pompei stop (not Pompei Scavi) and national train station.

    Shower was very small.

I stay here for 2nights 1)It's really close to the pompei station 2)the room is big and clean 3)they are very very friendly.and if you go outside to get a meal cost about €8-10,stay in hotel they will cook for you ,very delicious and nice price! (3-7€)for a meal you can choose 4)although the wifi just work in lobby .but I think it's not the problem that you can met more friend in the place, and you can order the music which you want to listen! Interesting !

One things I want to say is just the light was Not enough

The couple looking after the place was very nice and helpful with plenty of tips. They do try to make you feel comfortable. The hostel is very close to the Amphitheatre gate which is a better way to see Pompeii first thing in the morning and avoid the crowds. The hostel does feel like a home and some basic things mentioned in the cons can make it a complete hostel if the owner see the feedback in a positive light.

In the sense of the word hostel there are no cooking facilities though they did provide cutlery to eat our salads. There is also no common toilets in the common areas so if you come to collect your lugguage and are a woman who needs a bit of change it is not possible.

The staff were amazing and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. The atmosphere is great, and the young couple that run the hostel do much to make you feel at home, including making traditional Italian home-cooked meals for a great price. The hostel is also located in a quiet are very near to the ruins of Pompeii.

The only thing that could have been better was the range of the wifi, though it was probably a good thing considering we got to know the owners and other visitors by using the internet in the common areas.

The staff at Agora Hostel are very hospitable. Really nice people, ready for anything you need.

The dormitories need a little upgrade as well as the shared toilet an extension.

The hostel's location is very good. Next to the city's cathedral and close to the ancient city. We visited Pompei during Easter. We got a memorable greeting card from the owner. That was great! The owner is very nice, kind, friendly and cheerful.

We stayed just 1 night. Everything was OK. The price could be lower though. If you travel with a car, please make everything sure about parking. As the street along the building is narrow and you will hardly park even an A-class car over there. At night time we left the car in the hostel's yard. There is limited space in the yard. And I suppose that during high season you may have hard time parking your car there.

The perfect location for exploring the area, Pompeii is a great little town when the buses of tourists leave. Perfect helpful staff and a great price!

Fabulous couple running the place! Made our stay personalized and easy! Vincenzo drove us to the train as the bus was not running on the day we needed it. Breakfast was easy to order, cheap and relaxing out in the courtyard. The old city is a 5 minute walk away and cathedral one minute. We loved it!

Hand held shower in bathroom was only negative. But that's pretty standard for Italy! Very clean and roomy bathroom so very minor in the scheme of the entire place!

Staff was wonderful. Very accommodating. Private locked parking behind the property. We stayed in a family room. It was very basic, but clean and it had it's own bathroom. The location is hard to beat. 5 minute walk to Pompeii ruins, lots of restaurants and shopping. If you're looking for a clean room at a good price, good location and nice people, this is it.

Was simple and basic, but we can deal with that.
