The host is so nice
Beautiful homely B&B feel with lovely aspect in the countryside but only a few mins drive to restaurants and the motorway. The host could not go out of her way enough to ensure comfort and a happy stay! Large rooms, modern but still classic... Amazing :)
Very clean Central location Attentive and caring and helpful hostess Comfortable bed Quiet location Beautiful, quality renovation Lovely grounds
Not really criticism but a suggestion for improvement of guest comfort the Room of a night time could have more air circulation. You cannot leave window open because of tiger mosquito
hospitality and kindness great breakfast nice and clean pool
high costs for standards second bad (couch) was pretty unconfortable for sleep very poor wifi signal some important details at place were different than booking
Location is ideal for visiting the main attractions in Tuscany Rooms are clean and well maintained Owners are very helpful and proud of their property
Tiger Mosquitos!!!! Bring or buy anti-musquito treatment tools. You will need them.
Beautifull house, typically tuscan style Clean room upon arrival Breakfast home-made, many choice if you like lots of sweet pastry
100EUR deposit upon arrival and a large 'contract' with rules/restrictions to sign, not realy a nice feeling to start your holiday During stay of 5 nights no change of towels or bedding, not very hygienic No room cleaning during stay Besides breakfast no service others Swimmingpool not for small children and not clean, lots of insects in and around the water and grass Arco insufficient, room always hot When you check out, you need to take all garbage from the bin with you, never seen this before! Too expensive for what you get Hostess appears to be helpfull but actually is very stressfull, strictly and becomes easily irritated
The atmosphere, the warm welcome, the home baking at breakfast and the views
Not a criticism, but no dinner is available which means one has to drive out to one of the local restaurants (and not drink too much!)
Wonderful place, amazing view, delicious breakfast! The host is very nice and welcoming, and the place is near Pistoia center, a few minutes drive. Very pleasant and very recommended if you are looking for a relaxed quiet vacation and to experience Tuscany
We loved everything, from the beautiful house, the gardens, the settings... The owners Antonella and Gabriele are devoted to make your stay perfect and nothing seems too much trouble for them. Antonella bakes different things for breakfast everyday and everything is delicious (best breakfast ever!). Pistoia is a lovely town and Agriturismo Amedea is also very well located for visiting Florence, Lucca or Pisa. We wish we could have stayed more days.
We liked the toscane breakfast very much. The house is beautiful in a very nice landscape near the historical city Pistoia. It is easy to travel to Florence, Lucca, Pisa etc by train or car.
Everything was ok.
Beautiful Tuscan style housing. Host service is impeccable and accommodating as I was arriving late in the night. Breakfast is laid out in the garden with full spread of fresh products from their farm. Great value for what you are paying and would definitely stay here again - can not go wrong with this one
Very nice renovated place
You cannot eat in the rooms. They are impeccable. I don't think you would like to go there with children.
The setting is fabulous. The breakfast, typically Tuscan, homemade with a huge variety of savoury and sweet bites.Ando is lovely and welcoming, very accomodating and speaks good English. The place is spotless, and attention to detail is staggering.
We would love to return to Agriturismo Amadea - this time for longer - and would recommend it to any friend. The house and the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and decorated to a feel of real Tuscany. The location is exceptional, not only for the more popular cities of Pisa and Florence, but also to the strangely-unknown Pistoia and many small villages. Also, and above all, the host couple Antonella and Gabriele make the stay so special. They go that extra mile to make their guests comfortable, help them discover Tuscany and be well fed over breakfast. You can't go wrong with this one.
Perfect hospitality, very kind people. Wish that all people were like Antonella.
The lovely people running the business, the cleanliness, and that everything is renovated and new.
We chose the Argriturismo Amadea because it had such terrific reviews -- and what can we say: it really is even more amazing than people say it is. Even in December, hardly high season, this is a wonderful place to stay, a true gem, nestled atop an olive grove. A 17th-century farmhouse restored to a top standard, the Amadea offers cosy yet spacious accommodation. (And well heated, too, in case you're going in winter.) Wifi is fantastic. Host Antonella cooks up a storm every morning, using fresh ingredients from the farm. Her jams are amazing; and her breakfast really is something not to be missed. She's a fount of knowledge, and happy to share some excellent recommendations for where to eat well (and really cheaply, too) at night, including the odd discount. As for our Christmas shopping, we left with home-made Limoncello, olive oil and jams, so this really is a great place to come in winter, too. The moment you arrive, you start relaxing -- something we really appreciated after a hectic, frantic year. We'll be back!
It was all just exceptional. Best ever night I had out of home. The place, the house, the landlord, the food, the garden and the views — everything was just the best I've ever seen. If I will ever happen to be around Florence, will definitely stay there again.
It took me fair half an hour or more to find the place, though it has banner on entrance. I came at night and my both GPS devices (built-in in car and Google Maps) had wrong directions, leading me just to the next street. Not something bad, mostly my fault, just have to remember to save GPS lonlat coordinates along with the address.
Very kind and nice hosts. Nice house in a good and beautiful environment. The breakfast
Everything. The family ,room, breakfast, location and the dog.
We stayed only 3 nights at villa Amedea, unfortunately we didn't plan for more... The countryside around the house is magnificient. Our hosts, Antonella and Gabriel work very hard to make our stay memorable. The breakfasts in the shade of the sun in September we will certainly remember. Everything is home made and fresh, prepared by the family. If we had enough time to stay longer, we wouldn't hesitate to extend our visit.
I didn't like only the steep stairs to the room but it was ok ...
