Wi-fi signal was often poor, but mostly adequate for light usage. It's a place where you go to be a bit offline anyway :-)
We loved everything about this place. The apartment was spacious, with a massive wooden dining table, extremely comfortable beds, excellent heating (we needed it - the weather was windy). It's secluded in the hillside with a beautiful view of the country, but still very close (5-6km) to a city with restaurants and supermarkets. Getting to Firenze, Pisa, Siena, etc. is easy. There's a lot of outdoor lounging areas on the property, green lawns to walk around, and a pool (we didn't use it at this time of year, though). The staff is wonderful and friendly, Stephano (owner? manager? I never got to ask) is always there with a charming smile and ready to help you whether it's suggesting the best way to get to Firenze (by train from Empoli) to reserving tables at nearby restaurants or even tickets to Uffizi (give him two day notice, though).
