helpful staff,location,cleanliness, adequate breakfast
no onsite dining, other guests noisy at times, biting insects, difficult to find on first arriving
The reception is very nice and polite. I also love the environment.
Good location. (Visit the town 'Certaldo' nearby!) Nice pool. Very friendly host who speaks 3 languages perfectly. Nice wine.
Too bad there isn't a terrace on every room. The view is great outside bit the rooms aren' located on the good side. 85 Euro isok when you would have the 2 rooms WITH terrace.
This is an incredibly well run family business
Everything was just great.
View and lovely surroundings, friendly staff and beautiful organic breakfast.
The area is, of course, beautiful. The room was lovely, although fairly basic. Breakfast was wonderful! We enjoyed wine tasting at grounds.
Our room had no view (Verde room); We could not lay by the pool due to mosquitos; you have to be sitting in certain parts of the grounds to see the surrounding countryside (otherwise there is no view)
the views, the location, the accommodating and friendly staff
The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants to try in San Gimignano. The room was simple but spotlessly clean. The Tuscan snack we had for lunch was delicious as was the selection of local organic foods at breakfast.
Use of the air conditioning was charged separately at €10 per day. Two separate wifi connections were required depending on where you were in the property and sometimes connection was poor.
Rustic setting, Nice scenery, Small town, Comfortable rooms, Tasty home-produced breakfast
Neighbours adjacent kept complaining we were loud although we were speaking in normal conversation levels. We watched tv too but tv volume was normal so we didn't understand why they were upset
If you travel by car, it is really good, near San Gimignano. Nice pool Nice staff Incredible views
rooms a little too small if you want to use air condition, you should pay 10 E per night
The place was great. The view is amazing, the location amazing and we had the best wine tasting ever. The breakfast was also good, with a lot of variety (when compared to the toscan type of breakfast). The room we had (the blue room) was very nice and was big enough. The staff was eager to help and gave us a lot of good recommendations.
It's really picky but the water in our shower changed temperature and they charge 10 euro for using the air conditioner per night - it's a big to much in my eyes.
This place was a dream come true, picturesque setting, wonderful locally sourced organic breakfast and amazing staff!
I loved EVERY single bit!!
There is very quite and a lot of fresh air! Wonderful view to Tuscany hills.Good wine and atmosphere.
There was not rich breakfast. And thin walls between rooms (extremely hear neighbors).
Staff very friendly, good breakfast, wine tasting
Room close to street
The staff at Cesani are most wonderful! We very much enjoyed our stay.
Rustic rooms. Clean, comfortable. View overlooking vineyards and hills. Delicious breakfast especially home-made produce.
My ground floor room although it had a terrace opened out to walls of other buildings. Room of my friends overlooked gravel road. Swimming pool had lots of floating particles / plant stuff. Walls were thin - able to hear next door neighbours moving about / talking.
Great location. Beautiful views.
Room had no fan or A/C.
Beautiful location very comfortable staff excellent especially the lovely young lady who served our breakfast.
We loved it all.
The free wine tasting which was fun and intresting, and the staff giving it were very knowledgable. Excellent english. A real agriturismo.
Poor breakfast, it was good but there are much better else where from other agriturismo s with similar pricerange .
The location and views were tremendous. The swimming pool was well located and very welcome after a hard days sightseeing. The breakfast was very good and the on the walk back from the restaurant following our evening meal the road edges were alive with fire flies, quite magical !!
The bed was a bit hard and WIFI in the rooms would have been useful
Location quiet, yet central for travelling. Good breakfast.
No coffee making in room.
Beds were very hard and uncomfortable
the views were stunning
its out in the middle of grape vineyards and so beware of bug bites if sleeping with the windows/doors open!!!
