Surrounded by 22 hectares of picturesque vineyards and located in the unspoilt hills of Bologna, this charming country house is situated just 10 km from Bologna city centre. Carlo Gaggioli and his daughter Maria Letizia have been running their family business since 1972. The hotel has developed over the years around a small, ancient group of houses behind the historic Castle of Zola. The country farm is famous for its fine Gaggioli wine, produced in the vineyards. The villa is composed of 7 spacious and fully-equipped rooms where you can relax after a day spent enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. Hotel Rooms: 7

The rooms were very modern and comfortable, as was the bath although the shower is a bit tight. Brush up on your basic Italian as the hostess knows very little english. She is a charming person and tries very hard to accomodate.

Trevligt boende med luftkonditionerat sovrum, nyrenoverat badrum. Personalen är mycket behjälpliga och hjälpte oss med att ta fram en barnsäng fast det inte var beställt. Även om de inte pratar flytande engelska går det att göra sig förstådd med blandning av italienska och engelska. Finns möjlighet att köpa gårdens vin samt olivolja till bra pris. Restaurang med lokal mat och möjlighet att prova på gårdens viner och olivolja. Nära till Bolognas flygplats. Köket och borden för frukost ligger direkt under rummen vilket kan upplevas som störande. Hotellet saknar pool.
