Offering a terrace restaurant with panoramic views of San Gimignano and the Chianti Hills, Il Castagnolino features its own cooking school. Set in a tranquil location, it has a pool and country-style rooms with antique ceilings. Freshly baked cakes and biscuits are served each morning, as well as homemade jams, yoghurt and savoury options. The restaurant serves a 4 course Tuscan meal every evening, including home grown ingredients. Rooms at the peaceful Agriturismo Il Castagnolino are decorated with traditional furnishings. Each comes with a private bathroom and terracotta floors. Some offer air conditioning. The pool is set among olive trees in the garden, and comes equipped with deck chairs and sun loungers. The owners attention and service Im allergic to cats, and they had one ti which I reacted horribly, that was the obly complain (and it is not their fault)

Os donos do hotel são sensacionais, muito solícitos e acolhedores. E ainda nos deram boas dicas de como aproveitar melhor a região. Me senti em casa. Até o computador deles eles me emprestaram. O jantar oferecido pela Carmela é imperdível. Tanto o jantar como o ótimo café da manhã são caseiros e feitos com produtos da região. Parada obrigatória para quem está passeando pela Toscana de carro. Gostaria de voltar a Toscana para poder me hospedar novamente nesse hotel. O banheiro do nosso quarto era muito pequeno. No entanto em outros quartos o tamanho era bom. O acesso WiFi era apenas na área comum do hotel.

Indicazioni sul navigatore di google errate. In generale poco segnalato come indicazioni stradali. Il numero di telefoni indicato, nonostante sia un fisso dava, non raggiungibile. Nella camera manca la televisione

Es un hotel rural muy estilo toscano, muy cerca de san gimignano y de volterra. La dueña es un encanto, muy atenta y servicial. Lo unico es que hay que dejar la habitación antes de las 10,me parece un poco pronto.

Il posto e' splendido per la sua posizione e la calma. La struttura nuovissima e' molto bella, le camere pulite e molto ben arredate. Ivan e Carmela i proprietari di una gentilezza e disponibilità squisita. La cena e la colazione super. Che dire ci siamo trovati benissimo, ci torneremo, possiamo solo parlarne bene e consigliarlo Antonella BO

coppia di titolari molto cordiale e disponibile, agriturismo veramente a due passi dalla splendida san gimignano, immerso nel verde e molto silenzioso. nelle camere, specialmente le standard, lo spazio interno è molto ridotto e a pagarne è il bagno, purtroppo decisamente sacrificato. colazione leggera e gustosa ma migliorabile nella varietà di scelta.

Prima esperienza in agriturismo. Che dire...siamo stati proprio fortunati!! Il posto è incantevole!...silenzioso, tranquillo e ben curato! I proprietari, Carmela e Ivan, sono persone veramente gentili e disponibili! Per non parlare della cucina!!...Buonissima la cena preparata dalla Signora Carmela!! Il Castagnolino è un posto splendido dove poter assaporare prodotti genuini preparati in modo sapiente ed accompagnati da ottimo vino!

El matrimonio que lleva esta casa rural, tanto Carmela como su marido, son encantadores, cercanos te ayudan en todo i la comida es la mejor que he probado en Italia. Ha sido fantástico!!!!!! Lo recomiendo.
