This is a beautiful historic property, with owners who are obviously taking great care to maintain a vintage feel in the restoration. The garden and grounds are peaceful and well-maintained; the dining room is impeccably clean, and onsite breakfast is fabulous. Though as others have said, I do not think this qualifies as a 4-star hotel, it is a charming property with classic character and grace. The staff were very accommodating, and their kind service made up for any lapses. I did experience an issue with the maintenance of my room, which took some time to address. It unfortunately meant losing a day of intended relaxation, without a possibility to extend - so I was unable to visit the pool and spa facilities. That said, I will absolutely return to this location in future, and look forward to experiencing all they have to offer.MMegan ZUnited States of America - 8.0Scored 8.0
It is a very old hotel, but everything was well maintained.
It is a very old hotel, but everything was well maintained. Some people are attracted to this, others not. My stay was in the winter for business. So I was not using the wellness. I think it has more appeal in the summer. Riolo Terme is a very small city and restaurants, and other things are limited. The restaurant in the hotel was not great. Breakfast was OK for me, but it is better in some other hotels with a star less. Personnel is very friendly and you can park the car close by. I was mainly driving in the dark, but for what I saw, the landscape is very nice.

This hotel served us perfectly for this trip as it was a easy 15 minute commute each day, there was parking and the owners offered a very friendly welcome. The breakfast was offered at a time to suit us and there was a decent range of quality food and nice coffees. The room was very clean, quite basic but offered everything that we needed for our stay.

The Therme has a nice park and forest to walk around/ hike. Nearby the hotel there are famous traditional restaurants that serve delicious high quality italian foods. Ask the hotel reception desk for suggestions and help to reserve in advance tables in the restaurants. The hotel is close to the IMOLA racing area.
