Excellent food. Staff attentive but not intrusive/
The food. Home-grown/cooked/organic, delicious and nicely served, in generous quantities. The amiable, well-mannered dog family. The wild pig in the forest. The fabulous views. Despite being in the heart of the country, the convenient proximity of 2 delightful small towns, and, a little further off, of the beautiful (and, in October, virtually deserted) beach at Isola Rossa. The comfortable bedrooms, with traditional farm furniture. The whole ambiance of a working Sardinian farm. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff.
- Beautiful location in cork forest. - Fantastic breakfasts, with fresh farm produce and wonderful homemade cakes. - Hearty evening meals with local specialities and wine. A little too much to manage! - Friendly dogs.
- Reception didn't explain anything about the facilities or things to do nearby (maybe just the language barrier). We found a pool tucked away as we were leaving and not sure if we were able to use it. - Not for those afraid of bugs!
The staff here is amazing and the food cannot be beat. We had breakfast and dinner there every day, all of it is fresh and homemade right from the farm. The location is charming, in the mountains with great views of the surrounding areas. It is about a 45 minute drive to Palau from here and an hour and half to Capo Caccia. Altogether such a great experience, you really get to see another side of Sardinia. Highly recommended.
We liked this Agritourismo very much, rustic charm, efficient helpful friendly folk, very good breakfast and dinner. A peaceful place yet well located for exploring the north if Sardinia, we would highly recommend it.
