The B & B's rural setting is very relaxing whilst still being easily accessible to Assisi and many other beautiful Umbrian villages. It was not only convenient, but also excellent value, to dine each night at the restaurant at the B& B. We appreciated the range of quality local wines and the owner's knowledge of them. Umbria is an excellent holiday area and our stay at Agriturismo Il Noceto Umbro gave us many happy memories.

Lovely setting and warm, friendly staff. Paula gave us great advice about what to do during our short visit, and also advised us as where to go next. The food at dinner and breakfast was incredible, and we look forward to trying out Maria's cooking dvd. We really enjoyed our visit here.

If you want to stay in the countryside near Assisi and have food that is fantastic prepared by a gourmet professionally trained chef with accompanying local wine at a reasonable price with impeccable service then you must stay at Agriturismo Il Noceto Umbro in Petrignano about 5 or 6 kilometers from Assisi. 'Mommy' prepares the food and Paula runs the Ristorante and accommodations with assistance from her sister Monica and other family members. Paula greets you with a free glass of wine and/or bottled water. The food is rich but is an experience you will never forget. The wine is excellent and Paula gives you a glass of Prosecco gratis as a starter. By the way they also have farm animals and organically produced food. Do not miss an opportunity to stay at Agriturismo Il Noceto!!!!

Il Noceto Umbro is an absolute gem. The hotel part is basic yrt comfrtable and clean, and with plenty of parking. Location is very central to a heap of Umbrian towns and countryside- Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi Todi etc etc are all within a very easy day return drive. Ath the end of the day you are back in the sanctuary of ilu, where Paola runs a first class country home cooking restaurant. I simply couldn/t eat all the set menu. And everything s delicious, prepared by her mother and sister. All the food is localy sourced hence the eco tick! Breakfast is another delight especially the fruit pies. Our next visit to italy will definitely include a few more delightful days at Il Noceto

We really enjoyed a lot and stayed there for one more night finally. We were pleasured a lot by a hotelkeeper - very nice, welcoming englishspeaking women named Paola obviously has a sense in tourist service:) She was very helpfull. Welcoming glass of wine makes you warm to the place)) Cozy, clean, comfortable country-fashioned rooms, internet and parking are in your disposal. Home made dinner was unforgettable)) Breakfast was also more then normal Italian breakfast of coffee and croissant - enriched with pastries, jams, butter, cheese and ham. Tastes perfect. The place is not far from Assissi and Perugia. (I have no clear idea about what is just around that place - we were traveling by car to nearest old cities). It was the best place among others we stayed during our 13days journey over Italy.

Made to feel very welcome.I Would recommend this for a short stay for value, location, quality of meal and hospitality of the owner. We chose to stay here on last night of our holday to be near the airport. It was also a straightfoward drive up to Assissi which we had already visited.Instead we decided to take the option of the set evening menu, which turned out to be 7 courses of freshy cooked food and was extremely good value. The dining room had a very pleassant rustic farmhouse feel. We could barely manage breakfast next morning. Good outdoor swimming pool, although we only sat on a lounger soaking up the October sun. Small play area for those with children and bathroom suitable for disabled too.

Our only difficulty was in finding it. It is a rural area despite being a few minutes drive away from Perugia airport - very quiet, the planes do not fly over this property. It was well sign posted from one approach, we took an alternative approach, where there was no signage and the house lay back off the road.We ended up telephoning the owner, who speaks good English, and she immediately came out in her car to guide us in - we were there in seconds away! Although there was a small fridge in the room there was no kettle/drinks making facility.

Il Noceto Umbro is located within a family run farm amongst beautiful surrounding Perrugian farmland. The property is less than ten minutes drive from Assisi. The property is perfect for families with farm animals to be seen, including the beautiful 'Gilda', a very well fed pig. The attraction of the property is that you are within rural surrounds and only minutes from the centre of Assisi which is a nice change. We did not try the restaurant within the property as it was closed however other guests we spoke with stated it was sublime. Great value for money.

This Agriturismo is definitely a great place to stay for a couple of nights, especially if you love Italian cuisine! Paola and her family make you really feel comfortable and at home. If you choose to have dinner at their restaurant, you will get the best Italian meals of your life. Make sure you are hungry; because you will get a lot! And they offer a very affordable wine list as well, by the way. Located 10 minutes both from Perugia and the gorgeous little town of Assisi, it is a perfect and peaceful accomodation, including a nice swimming pool. We will be back!

We loved our stay at Agriturismo Il Noceto Umbro. The room was clean opened out into the beatifully kept orchard and pool area. The staff (particularly Paula) were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We were SO impressed with the food (particularly with dinner - the roast pork and self saucing choc pud were the best ever) - it was absolutely top quality and we could have as much cheese and ham as we could eat for breakfast! The location is perfect for Assisi. Thanks so much for a perfect farm stay.

The room was quite small and rustic but this really wasn't an issue as the outside area (orchard and pool) was perfect for relaxing.

замечательное месторасположение между городами ассизи и перуджа. очень живописное место. удобный и чистый номер, очень простой,без дизайнерских изысков. замечательный завтрак,безумно вкусные ужины, которые готовит мама хозяйки, советую сходить в их ресторанчик. хозяйка очень гостеприимная, отзывчивая.

Il verde che la circonda,la vicinanza ai posti più importanti dell'umbria la buona colazione e la cortesia dei proprietari.

L'établissement est situé en pleine campagne, entre Assise et Pérugia, au calme dans un environnement verdoyant. Les chambres sont situées près de la maison et ont chacune une entrée principale. Paola est très accueillante avec ses hôtes. N'hésitez pas à dîner au restaurant de la maison: cuisine fine et excellente confectionnée par la mère et la soeur de Paola.

Les repas sont servis tard : à partir de 8h pour le petit déjeuner et de 20h pour le dîner (qui est un peu long, contrepartie d'un menu à la carte). Une lampe serait bienvenue à la tête du lit pour ceux qui aiment lire avant de s'endormir.
