Agriturismo Il Noceto Umbro  

Il Noceto Umbro is located within a family run farm amongst beautiful surrounding Perrugian farmland. The property is less than ten minutes drive from Assisi. The property is perfect for families with farm animals to be seen, including the beautiful 'Gilda', a very well fed pig. The attraction of the property is that you are within rural surrounds and only minutes from the centre of Assisi which is a nice change. We did not try the restaurant within the property as it was closed however other guests we spoke with stated it was sublime. Great value for money.

Il Noceto Umbro is an absolute gem. The hotel part is basic yrt comfrtable and clean, and with plenty of parking. Location is very central to a heap of Umbrian towns and countryside- Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi Todi etc etc are all within a very easy day return drive. Ath the end of the day you are back in the sanctuary of ilu, where Paola runs a first class country home cooking restaurant. I simply couldn/t eat all the set menu. And everything s delicious, prepared by her mother and sister. All the food is localy sourced hence the eco tick! Breakfast is another delight especially the fruit pies. Our next visit to italy will definitely include a few more delightful days at Il Noceto

We really enjoyed a lot and stayed there for one more night finally. We were pleasured a lot by a hotelkeeper - very nice, welcoming englishspeaking women named Paola obviously has a sense in tourist service:) She was very helpfull. Welcoming glass of wine makes you warm to the place)) Cozy, clean, comfortable country-fashioned rooms, internet and parking are in your disposal. Home made dinner was unforgettable)) Breakfast was also more then normal Italian breakfast of coffee and croissant - enriched with pastries, jams, butter, cheese and ham. Tastes perfect. The place is not far from Assissi and Perugia. (I have no clear idea about what is just around that place - we were traveling by car to nearest old cities). It was the best place among others we stayed during our 13days journey over Italy.

Made to feel very welcome.I Would recommend this for a short stay for value, location, quality of meal and hospitality of the owner. We chose to stay here on last night of our holday to be near the airport. It was also a straightfoward drive up to Assissi which we had already visited.Instead we decided to take the option of the set evening menu, which turned out to be 7 courses of freshy cooked food and was extremely good value. The dining room had a very pleassant rustic farmhouse feel. We could barely manage breakfast next morning. Good outdoor swimming pool, although we only sat on a lounger soaking up the October sun. Small play area for those with children and bathroom suitable for disabled too.

Our only difficulty was in finding it. It is a rural area despite being a few minutes drive away from Perugia airport - very quiet, the planes do not fly over this property. It was well sign posted from one approach, we took an alternative approach, where there was no signage and the house lay back off the road.We ended up telephoning the owner, who speaks good English, and she immediately came out in her car to guide us in - we were there in seconds away! Although there was a small fridge in the room there was no kettle/drinks making facility.

We chose this property due to it's very competitive price, and it's good proximity to Assisi. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If you're looking for a place to stay for the night outside of a big town then I'd highly recommend it.

This is the perfect way to experience the Umbrian countryside. The agriturismo was so much nicer than we even hoped it would be as it was the first agriturismo we ever stayed at. The hospitality of the staff/owners was overwhelming and from the first moment we arrived there we felt like we were guests at someone's home. They wanted to accommodate any wish we had. We felt so welcome. The rooms were comfortable, very clean and it was surreal to wake up in the morning only hearing nature. No traffic, no human chatter. It was pure bliss. I would also highly recommend the dinner - four courses of homemade heaven. We could barely walk to our rooms after dinner. Thankfully it was a very short walk. I cannot recommend enough Il Noceto Umbro. If we are ever in the area again, this is where we will be staying. Without a second thought.

We spent 2 nights and had a great time. Paulo and her sister, Monica were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. It is a little hard to find, so try and get good directions ahead of time. The view of Assisi, is beautiful. Large field of sunflowers beside the accommodation and nice rural setting. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to Assisi. We would definitely recommend Il Noceto Umbro to anyone visiting Assisi.

The setting is lovely and the location is great for visiting Assisi and the surrounding areas. We received a very warm welcome and would happily return. The price is an absolute bargain as well, especially when you consider the lovely swimming pool.

Struttura che gode di una buona posizione, a pochi chilometri da Perugia e Assisi. I proprietari sono cordialissimi. La camera offre un soggiorno confortevole, ben riscaldata e pulita. Ottima colazione inclusa nel prezzo del soggiorno. Possibilità di cenare nel ristorante dell'agriturismo con ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato il menù degustazione. La sala ristorante è preparata con cura per creare un ambiente riservato, piacevole ed elegante pur nella sua semplicità; la musica e le candeline rendono l'atmosfera ideale anche per una cena romantica.

Il navigatore potrebbe non rilevare la via Francesco Rossi in cui è situato l'agriturismo, perciò consiglio di mettere come via di riferimento via Enrico Mattei, a circa un km sulla sinistra troverete via F. Rossi. Contattare I proprietari poco prima dell'arrivo per indicazioni più precise.

Ett fantastiskt bemötande med extremt servicevillig personal. Vi fick många tips om vingårdar och keramiktillverkning som vi inte kunnat läsa oss till. Maten var av yppersta klass - en a la carte meny som vi tyvärr inte hann äta oss igenom. Allt vi prövade var av mycket gott. För att inte tala om vinerna, som var fantastiskt goda och mycket prisvärda, tom de viner som serverades som "husets" var av en bättre klass än förväntat! Läget är mycket bra med närhet till många Umbriska sevärdheter:Assisi, Orvieto, Todi and Perugia. Vi behövde aldrig leta efter restaurang för kvällens måltid, då den mat som serverades på Il Noceto Umbro var bättre än man kunde önska, dessutom mycket prisvärd.

Abbiamo deciso di fermarci anche per la cena e abbiamo mangiato delle vere prelibatezze ad un buon prezzo. La stanza semplice ma carina e la proprietaria gentilissima: all'indomani si è offerta di anticiparmi la colazione visto che dovevo andarmene presto. Ci tornerei!

l'agriturismo è a conduzione familiare, gode di un personale sempre a disposizione di tutti. La sua posizione permette di raggiungere facilmente le principali città. Lo consiglio.
