Agriturismo Il Poderino

Beautiful area and the location is quiet and peaceful. Good facilities. We stayed in an apartment and there were three good sized rooms, very clean and well equipped. The swimming pool is wonderful but the weather was poor so we did not use it. The property is about 3 kilometres up a track. You need a car and not mind a trip to town, but this was a plus for us.

The family were pleasant but low key and unobtrusive. Only the daughter speaks good English so it would have been nice to have a folder of information on local attractions and basic points like where to shop or even to dispose of rubbish!

This is the perfect location for relaxation and sightseeing. A car is a MUST! The owners speak very little English but are extremely friendly and will do their best to help. The accommodation (including the pool and communal areas) was spotlessly clean. We loved having the (extremely friendly) dogs about the place as it did really feel like 'home from home'. We are planning to re visit next year with friends.

The family that run this adorable place are so incredibly accommodating and really friendly. I enjoyed the walks around the property we took and the quaint little town of Asciano which we enjoyed exploring. Can't wait to return!!!!

Il Poderino is a perfect place to stay around Asciano. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to say outside of city, this agriturismi is located literally in the middle of working fields. It was a bit tricky to find (when coming to Asciano from Monteroni, on roundabout just before the town, don't follow the sign to city centre, but keep going on the same roundabout and you will see at the following exit signpost to Il Poderino, follow that on dirt road for about 5 min), gps wasn't helpful. We were in Mela (apple) apartment, it had everything we needed, kitchen was equipped with all the basics and everything was spotless clean. The pool was fantastic, very clean, water cool, but very refreshing. There are dogs and cats on the farm, very friendly. Make sure to go to restaurant Il Paradiso to try homemade pici pasta. Is to die for.

Hosts speak very little English, so if you need some info about the area, you have to go to town.

beautiful surroundings - very quiet - a place to really relax. We stayed in the Pero. Two good rooms with good beds. Kitchen well equipped with a good size fridge. Utensils was a litte scarce but enough for four. The outside patio was covered and we enjoyed all out meals there. The pool area is nice with a well sized pool with a depth of 120 to 190. Gas grill to do your cooking is also available. Part of its charm is that is is really in the countryside - so be aware that it takes around 15 minutes to get into the town of Asciano We plan to go there again!!

The site was beautiful and exactly what we had in mind for a countryside escape from the hustle and bustle of the major Italian cities. The photos on the website are accurate in depicting the beautiful landscaping, pool, and surrounding countryside vistas. It was fun to play with the many pets at the villa, including several dogs, cats and lots of birds. There is also an outdoor grill and a swing for personal use; but most of the activities here are do-it-yourself and provide materials yourself.

This is not a hotel, in the traditional sense of the word. Do not expect to be waited on, or even greeted and given much information for that matter. The place seems to be owned/operated by a small family who occupy one of the rooms in the villa, and they were rarely around. The young daughter, who speaks English, was working most of the time. The older parents were busy working on the surrounding farmlands. Also, the place is rather difficult to find; but we got there, eventually, and it was well worth it. (Look for the signs on the outskirts of town that direct you to the Agriturismo.) One thing to note: the site mentions there are bikes and fishing available. There is a small stream nearby, but no fishing rods on site. Also, there is one bike on site; but that is basically useless if you want to ride with your companion(s). We discovered that you can rent equipment at the tourist office in town; but we never ended up doing it because we trekked around the tuscan countryside in our rental car most of the time instead. Also, for those on longer journeys, there are no washer/dryer facilities. You must use the coin laundry in town.

Sehr freundliche Aufnahme durch die Besitzer. Wunderschöne Anlage. Liegt mitten in der Crete. Zum Fotografieren fahren in die Crete beste Lage. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Confortevole e adatto alle famiglie. Si arriva su strada sterrata ben tenuta. Immerso nella campagna. Ottimo per relax.

Posizione ottima, zona molto tranquilla immersa nella campagna delle crete senesi. La proprietaria Monica si è dimostrata simpatica e accogliente, gli appartamenti sono puliti e ben tenuti, la piscina è la ciliegina sulla torta di questo posto, resa ancora più bella dal panorama circostante. Consigliatissimo!!!!

Il Poderino urzeka spokojem, bliskością natury (pod okno przylatuje dudek), doskonałym położeniem do zwiedzania Toskanii. Przyjemny apartament, sympatyczni właściciele, zadbana okolica zachęcają do odpoczynku po zwiedzaniu. Przejeżdżające w pobliżu pociągi były zaskakująco ciche (przeciwieństwo polskich), co nie dawało uciążliwości. Cisza I spokój to Il Poderino. Salutiamo Monica, Francesco e suoi genitori.

De prachtige ligging is geweldig, uitzicht over de toscaanse heuvels in een mooie omgeving. Ruim appartement, voorzien van alle basisbehoeften, mooie badkamer, lekker bed, mooie tuin en zwembad, lieve hond, aardig personeel. Heel rustig gelegen, heerlijk om tot rust te komen!

Je kunt je hier alleen goed redden met frans en italiaans: er wordt wienig engels gesproken. Er mag meer informatie komen over de omgeving en apartement: huidige informatiemap bezit informatie van 2 tot 5 jaar geleden en er was geen gebruiksaanwijzing over de airrco/verwarming, geen beschrijving van waar afval heen gaat etc. Stoeltjes op terras hadden bijna allemaal een scheur (nog wel op te zitten).

Отличное месторасположение, дружелюбные хозяева, просторные, полностью экипированные апартаменты. Тишина, спокойствие и умиротворение на фоне великолепных тосканских пейзажей!

Die Lage war wunderbar - Natur und Erholung im Einklang! Perfekt zum ent- und ausspannen. Das Pool und die Gartenanlage war sehr gepflegt und das Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer sehr sauber und grosszügig. Gerne wieder.
