Set on a hilltop near the Arno River and 5 km from the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, the Isola Verde is a renovated farmhouse originally built by Cosimo de' Medici. We loved the setting.It felt like a real get-a-way place, The staff and the what I think is the owner was fantastic. made everyone feel welcome and involved. the meals were excellent and reasonable price. and the wine was local and beautiful . the one the one thing I was very frustrated with was that there was no set menu and prices and we were made to understand that it was a fixed price plus drinks . that was not the case you paid for what you had in everything . so watch that you don't over order not knowing what you are paying till the end. having said that the prices were still reasonable

We were made very welcome by the owners.Recommend eating in hoetl...locally sourced food,all cooked freshly by owner.perfect food and setting.recommend you buy local wine and olive oil.

Nice location with wonderful view on the surroundings, also very peaceful. Everything one would say is typical for an agriturismo in Tuscany: entrance with line of cypresses, great main building, a small swimming pool and a lot of green. Can be a good starting point for visiting Northern Tuscany (40 km from Firenze, 50 km from Pisa, 70 km from Siena) It's not mentioned on Booking, but also Mastercard is accepted for payment. Wireless network signal was very weak in the room.

Vriendelijke eigenaar, laat graag zijn bedrijf zien en een gezellige wijnproeverij! Goed zwembad, lekker eten, betaalbare wijn en een persoonlijke, prettige bejegening. Dorp Cerreto Guidi op loopafstand. Dat er zomaar, zonder aankondiging ineens geen avondeten was......

Posizione splendida sopra una collina circondata dai vigneti del proprietario. Luogo centrale per visitare Vinci, Firenze, Pisa, Lucca. Ottimo vino. Struttura che mostra I segni di mancata/poca manutenzione. Cena offerta con piatti ripetitivi e dal costo non proporzionato (20 euro menù a persona senza bere). Per essere un agriturismo mancano gli animali.

Ligging is schitterend. Het eten is heel goed en smakelijk. Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding is niet in evenwicht. Eenvoudige kamer en badkamer. Kamer wordt ook niet schoongemaakt. (zat niet in de prijs inbegrepen vertelde men)

Die Lage ist einmalig. Wunderschön zum entspannen bei dem Blick in die Weinberge Es war schade, dass es abends teilweise keine Getränke mehr gab, da das Restaurant nur öffnet wenn Gäste essen wollen. Somit wusste man nie ob man noch etwas bekommt oder nicht.

La location è bellissima, immersi nella natura ma a pochi passi dal centro del paese ed a 5 minuti di macchina dalla città di Empoli. Idromassaggio in camera, vista rilassantissima, gazebo, barbecue a disposizione ed una fresca piscina. Ritornerò! La mancanza dell'aria condizionata ma la seconda notte il gentile staff ci ha fatto trovare un bel ventilatore potente in camera; la presenza di parecchi insetti nel giardino ma in un posto così immerso nella natura, non è facile fare una disinfestazione efficace al 100%

Islola Verde liegt in einer schönen Toscana Landschaft. Zum Haus können wir wenig Auskunft geben, den wir waren täglich von morgens bis abends unterwegs.

Situation idéale pour rayonner dans le triangle Florence, Pise, Sienne. Chambre spacieuse, cadre agréable. Pas de climatisation dans notre chambre. Manque de personnel évident : la piscine est mal entretenue. Plomberie qui laisse à désirer. Bruit de basse-cour : réveil par le coq à 5h du matin... et aboiement d'un chien une autre nuit. Bref séjour peu reposant par une chaleur écrasante !

Cortesia, disponibilità, l'arredamento essenziale ma curato. Giardini curati e puliti. La colazione all'aperto è una vera bellezza. la colazione dispone di poca scelta e niente da mangiare per celiaci...sigh !!!

Abbiamo adorato il luogo, defilato, immerso nelle colline toscane a due passi dalla città dove eravamo per lavoro...l'assoluta pace e tranquillità..ambiente pulito e titolari cordiali. ...arredamento della sala da pranzo essenziale...

Il Silenzio Mancava l'asciugacapelli in camera e il ventilatore del riscaldamento era molto rumoroso di notte e bisognava spegnerlo per dormire....però ci voleva una coperta in più.
