nice owner, comfortable apartment, well-equipped kitchen
Countryside location. Well equipped and beautifully maintained - wanted for nothing. Furnished to a very high standard. An absolute pleasure to stay there. Good stopover in the middle of a tour of Italy - great to be able to wash and dry clothes.
In spite of the fact that we spoke no Italian, and the owner spoke no English, we had no problems at all (with a little help from Google Translate). It is a real farm-house (somewhat on the small side), but very nice and quiet. The room was clean and functional. The view outside was nice, as were the fruits from the plum trees and citrus trees. When we got in, there were fresh eggs, orange juice, milk, croissants, and a fresh baked cake. We were not expecting that, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.
The location was perfect. Just 2KM outside of Siena. A central location near Florence and all the hill towns. The family is wonderful. Fresh eggs in the morning from the hens was a nice touch.
Bring your own pillows.
Nicely done-up apt., quiet location, privacy - well, the ducks & the dog were sometimes noisy! Good to have a washing machine. Good supermarket within 10min drive. Easy to visit surrounding area from farm. Great to sit outside & relax with a glass of wine after sightseeing. We were presented with the farm's bio wine upon leaving - we would have had more, had we known!
Siena provides no free tourist maps (points for Florence!). Finding your way can be tricky, Siena obviously likes roadworks - keep calm! Signora was pleasant, but had no English if that is a concern. Kitchen equipment & supplies are limited, if you are planning to do a lot of home cooking.
Everything was good. The room (it was more a small house) was very good, very well organised. Spacious. Comfortable furniture. Good kitchen, specious bathroom. The internet is ok. The location was very convenient for us as we planned to drive to neighboring towns. On the day of arrival, tired of driving, we took bus 27 and went to the center of Siena. The bus stop is not far from the guesthouse. It took 15 minutes to get to the town centre.
The owner doesn't speak English, but it finally was fun to use Google translate with voice options) We understood each other well with it
All the best !
Everything is more or less as depicted on the website.Family running staff, one shed for the car, indoor frame rather rustic with many thing at disposal...a bit remote.Nothing else.
great place, beautiful views, very clean, peaceful. Ive stayed in siena afew times and this was probably the best place so far. Perfect for everything i needed and wanted.
location is far away from siena and although buses are around, a car is very very useful. But this is something i knew and should be taken into consideration.
everything was so confortable, food and drinks waiting for us, excelent environment, we simply loved the place
The family room was spacious and the attic was beautifully decorated with big beds for the kids. It was very quite and relaxing. We liked the fact that the kitchen was well equiped and with enough products to have a good breakfast. It is located very close to Siena overlooking the Tuscan hills. It is a good place to be the base for any short trip to the fantastic small villages close to Siena.
SInce it is an Agriturismo hotel, I would expect to have available more home made products for the breakfast (e.g. Home made marmelades, bread, cake, etc). Also, I would also expect to be informed and invited to attend agriturismo activities for the kids, such as visting the hencoop, the vineyard in the estate, etc.
Excellent place to go and enjoy of Toscana. Miriam was a ver nice host eventhough get to the place is a bit difficult.
Excellent value for money. We're on a long trip, so it was wonderful to use the washing machine in the room and to cook rather than eat out. There was every pot and pan and utensil imaginable which was a nice change from the usual sparse cooking supplies. The breakfast was also much better than others we have had and the bed was comfortable. A wonderful stop.
Great value for money. Kind owners. Ample space - including parking space.
Was a bit old. Owners could not speak any English - finding the place was a challenge with the language issue.
