Spoleto is one of Italy's most pictures and peaceful towns. Very relaxed atmosphere with lots of beautiful restaurants and eateries.
The old Roman structures were not crowded and easy to access on foot. Walking around Spoleto was easy and very safe both by day and night.
Lots of old Roman ruins and artists works in galleries dotted around the town.
A perfect break from the congestion of the big cities. Spoleto will not disappoint. Hotel Duci was in a perfect location with good parking

The view at the top of the mountain using the tramway was exquisite and seeing the bridge and fort....Loved the Duomo beautiful beyond..the old streets...not many tourists...the streets so interesting. It was easy to get around..loved the piazza below our accommodation. Our accommodations were beyond my expectation. The wrap around terrazzo was such a bonus and a special way to end our trip. The old very old church just outside added to the beauty. and the tramway a walk away, The views from our terrazzo was spectacular!.

Spoleto is a city dating back thousands of years, where monuments, fortresses and wonderful awe inspiring churches exist. A modern underground walking/moving escalators and elevators assist young and old alike to move around this wonderful ancient city. There are numerous shops, boutiques, indoor/outdoor restaurants and bars to serve the public. Most important are the friendly people of Spoleto. A must see destination for all.

A really interesting town which is very easy to navigate with underground walkways and escalators. Easy access and easy parking, we wished we could have stayed for more than one night. A lovely Duomo overlooked by hilltop castle from which there is an excellent view.

The area of Spoleto is quite vast and enchanting.
The area of Spoleto is quite vast and enchanting. I would recommend to other travellers to have a car so as to be able to move to different areas. Other places worth visiting are Montefalco, Orvieto, Todi, Montone, Assisi. We tried a restaurant called Ristorante Pizzeria Rosticceria da Moreno e Moira, it is situated at Via Carlo Marx 39, San Giovannio Di baiano 06049 Spoleto Italy. After the first time, we finished dining every day at this restaurant. The food is excellent, the owner is unique and very good value for money.
Comfortable bed, armchair in bedroom, good wifi reception in bedroom, small desk for laptop, wall-mounted tv in room (Italian channels only). Quiet, even though near a busy main road. 2 minutes' walk from two good supermarkets.
The centro storico of Spoleto is easily reachable on foot via the mechanised walkway from Posterna. The garden is very pleasant and would be a lovely place to relax in the warmer weather.
Excellent location just outside the centre of Spoleto, with a carpark. Our room had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. This is a modern hotel - everything works well. The staff were friendly and professional and quickly solved a problem with opening a suitcase. All major sites were within easy walking distance from the hotel. The continental breakfast was fine.
The property is a lovely Villa hotel with good sized rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was nice and had good offerings.
The staff was very friendly and Sergio was an excellent attendant at the desk and oversaw the bar. In the afternoon he gave recommendations for Italian cocktails to try and made them for us. We appreciate the friendly atmosphere of the hotel.
Pietro and his father Giorgio were very helpful, supporting all our requests.
The room is new, nice and comfortable. All new facilities are well selected.
There is a big jacuzzi in the garden.
They have a free hotel parking ticket for a nearby location, where there is a free escalator up to the town piazzas and locations.
The location is excellent. Just yards away to the moving walkway that takes you to the village centre (Piazza del Mercato), but easily accessible by car - with it's own parking!! Used the former to reach Spoleto's many highlights and the later (car) to reach the other wondrous hilltop towns in Umbria and Tuscany. Perfect!!
The house, the room, the surroundings. Very beautiful and well-kept place. We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is a 15 min driving from Spoleto. The summing pool is a bit small but very nice, with a wonderful view to the hills. Danielle and his father were very helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this Agriturismo.
Nice family run hotel just minutes away (by car) from Spoleto. Simple and comfortable room with a great generous breakfast served by the owner herself in the dining room which is decorated with lots of interesting vintage memorabilia.
Clean and surrounded by green which made it a pleasant and peaceful stay.
The flat was beautiful, incredibly spacious for the price and with all amenities you could wish for. We were visiting during the heatwave, and the flat was incredibly cool, it was a haven for us! So close to both old and new town in Spoleto, it's the perfect place to stay.
Hotel San Luca is beautiful! We stayed here 10 years ago on our honeymoon and it was just as good this this time. Reception staff fabulous, lovely room, exceptional bathroom and wonderful breakfast. We love the serenity of the hotel lobby and courtyard.
Incredible historic apartment with lovely furnishings and all you need for a pleasant stay. Best neighborhood in Spoleto too. Cafes and shops nearby. The owners are so kind! We were made to feel at home. Highly recommend!
Hotel Clarici is beautifully located just outside the walls of the old city of Spoleto. I felt very welcomed and the breakfast was good and served with full Covid precautions. The room was quiet and with air conditioning.
Breakfast spread was exceptional. Location is perfect to see all the sights of the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Aurora to anyone visiting Spoleto. Excellent value for money.
this house was so charming & wonderful. very close to Spoleto. the hosts were warm & friendly. beds were a bit too firm for us. outside areas were beautiful with wonderful views.
