La Pergola was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations! It was perfect in every way - starting with the warm greeting from the host Giosuè and his daughter Barbara, the excellent home cooked food plus the stars of the show, the animals: Leo the kitten, Artu, Bea and Mina the dogs - but not forgetting the chickens who would roam freely around the farm and come to our door each morning! The location was remote which was perfect - a world away from the crowds and noise in town. As we made the 7 minute walk from the bus stop to the farm, we returned once again to tranquillity & silence - except for the sights and sounds of nature including the incredible sunset views. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This place is amazing! Stunning views over the vineyard, down to the sea. Incredible hospitality, gorgeous food, and some amazing animals (3 beautiful dogs, a kitten and chickens) So relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle but just a short walk into Forio or the Poseidon thermal park.

The breakfast was lovely; crepes, toast, fresh orange juice and whatever you wanted it was catered for - cooked breakfast too! Swimming pool was lovely and the view was amazing - free sunset right in front of the B and B ;)

We stayed in 4 different places during our time in Ischia, but this was by far the most special. Giosué and his family were incredibly hospitable. All the produce they make on the farm was delicious - I particularly enjoyed the jams and the fresh juice. Giosué did a cooking class for us, with local ingredients where I learnt how to fillet a fish properly, this was a real highlight. He even picked us up and dropped us off in town a few times, which went above and beyond. No request was too much, and his family were all so lovely. The three dogs and cheeky kitten were also such a lovely, welcome presence as we love animals. I highly recommend Rate Agriturismo La Pergola - it was the best!!

Wonderfull hospitality, kid-friendly, and they speak English. One of the challenges in Ischia is that staff doesn't speak English. The owner is super kind, helpful, and offered us rides. If you're looking for a farm/hotel experience, it's very charming. Air conditioning is great in the room. Beds were comfortable. I've stayed in many hotels in Ischia, and often times the beds move and I fall in the cracks between. Fresh figs, beautiful sweet-smelling plants and trees around. Guests were also super nice. I've also stayed at other places where guests don't talk to you, but here they also were so kind. Breakfast is lovely. Fresh eggs from the hens that roam the property. This is not a commercial property so if that's what you're looking for, something more like a family stay, this is a wonderful place.

Excellent et copieux dîner préparé avec soin par Giusé et servi dans un très beau cadre. Petit déjeuner du même acabit ! Cadre splendide au calme et pourtant facilement accessible avec le réseau de bus. Chambre sommaire mais avec le nécessaire suffisant. Merci pour ce séjour !

Posto fantastico, location eccellente, personale gentilissimo che da consigli utili su cosa visitare sull'isola. Colazione e cena ottime con prodotti tipici del posto e di produzione propria. Prima di partire ho anche comprato dei prodotti locali eccellenti. La famiglia che gestisce l'agriturismo e' simpaticissima e gentilissima. Non solo ci tornerei, ma la consiglio vivamente a tutti!

La location che abbiamo scelto per il nostro soggiorno a Ischia è stato il valore aggiunto della vacanza. Un agriturismo immerso nel verde con una vista davvero bella. Il nostro host Giosuè poi ci ha dedicato tempo e attenzioni ogni volta che abbiamo fatto colazione o cenato nella struttura è stato davvero piacevole scambiare due chiacchiere, ci ha dato inoltre ottimi consigli su come ottimizzare le cose da visitare ...una chicca su tutte ......la salita a Monte Epomeo con vista a 360 gradi sul Golfo .. fino alle isole pontine e Monte Circeo sarà impossibile da dimenticare!!!!
