Modern spacious rooms with good bathrooms. Excellent breakfast - all home made with lots of cakes and biscuits and savoury choices. Quiet location with lovely outlook over lake and gardens from breakfast room. Excellent conversion of old barn. Proximity to Vicenza and train station at Grisignano to get to Venice
Bumpy drive!! Other than that there was nothing not to like!
Although we arrived two hours late for check-in, they let us in at night and were always very, very friendly!
The hotel was beautiful and looked exactly liked the pictures. We stayed 3 nights in the suite and it was wonderful! On the second evening we didn't feel like going out to dinner and purchased salamis, cheeses and wine and it was so nice to have the table in the room for our little feast. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintained. The host was very gracious and gave us a lot of info. What is nice is that the hotel is only 5k from a train station with a direct train to Venice so it was perfect for a day trip. WE plan to return. The breakfast was delicious.
An old Barn was made into a fantastic small hotel. Large rooms, new bathrooms. The grounds are beautiful, a pond with flowers in front of the hotel, with areas and tables for pic-nic. Egrets flying off from the rice fields. Breakfast, all home made, even the jams, was delicious, home made cakes, cheese, frittata and Italian coffee. The eggs used come from the hens in the back yard. The owners are wonderful, gracious and helpful. They recommended a restaurant nearby, run by a young chef who serves locally sourced food - I had a gazpacho with melon and two scampi on the side that was wow! Close to Vicenzak, Padua, Verona and Venice, ideal for a base to explore the cities and countryside around them, along the River Bra.
The location, facilities and food was excellent. Ac worked well. Parking was very easy. Loved the new furnishings, and very roomy bathroom/room. Very quiet and relaxing location. Breakfast was excellent. It is about a 15 or 20 minute drive into Vicenza, but maybe less if you're familiar with the roads. Loved that it was family owned and operated. One of the best hotels during our trip in Italy.
Slightly tricky to find, even with gps. Entrance could use better signage.
Amazing place! super clean, friendly staff, nice quiet area. I will definitely stay there again!
It was a bit hard to find but so worth it!
A wonderful surprise! Small slice of heaven.
Absolutely wonderful. An absolute paradise with wonderful hospitality and food (breakfast). Would recommend without reservation.
Lovely agriturismo with wonderful rooms and breakfast. Roberta is a fantastic host and is so kind and helpful. It is the best place to visit Vicenza and we will be back.
What a beautiful setting and a wonderful place to stay for a few days. The grounds and building are impeccably kept, the rooms very comfortable, and modern, yet homey. The family could not have been more friendly and kind. The breakfast was delicious. Even the country location was surprisingly close to autostrade accesses and train stations. The value for the price, here, is off the charts. I have never been to a lodging, before, where the best reviews were not an exaggeration.
We really enjoyed the central location on the Veneto Plain, the clean, comfortable accommodations, the beautiful surroundings and most of all, the friendly and helpful Roberta. She is an excellent chef who made wonderful baked goods for breakfast and was very helpful to us in making plans for our travels in the area. La Risarona is so serene. Our first night there, we made our dinner with bread, cheese and wine bought in a nearby village while we sat by the pond watching th egrets.
There is no way to describe the place apart from, amazing, wonderful, and Excellent
