The B&B is hosted by a family of four, they are all friendly people. Both children go to college and speak good English, the father speaks some and they will give you all the tips needed to have a great stay. We could tell the son what time we would like to eat breakfast so that we weren't limited by "opening hours". The mother baks pies for each breakfast. Rooms have everything you need and are clean. Wifi works well all over the area, but at a medium speed. It's a spacious B&B where you can sit and relax and it's only a 15 minute drive to Como center. We would definitely recommend this B&B to everybody. Oh, and if you don't want to go out far for dinner, there's a pizzeria that also offers take-out for only € 6,00 per pizza opposite of the church, 1km from the B&B.
Nothing, liked everything
- clean apartment, enough space
- apartment was away from the beautiful area where the effective agriturismo is located - was a little disappointing - no WiFi in the apartment
Feels like home, comfortable bed, nice linen 3 sweet ponies grazing the grass
Wireless was unfortunately not working
Great location for those traveling with a car wanting to explore Como and surrounding area. The family who own the farm and b&b were very nice to us and we enjoyed their warm hospitality. Secure parking behind gate. We also saw some ponies and donkeys around the farm which was interesting. Would stay again.
the whole complex, the welcoming, the nice breakfeast and hospitality.
it's a little bit hard to find.
Clean and modern facilities, good for one night on the way to southern Italy
Difficult to reach. Lot of horses (stables nearbay), manure stench
We stayed here in order to spend a full day at Lake Como. The location is very quiet and peaceful and 15 mins drive from Como which worked well. Breakfast was good with fresh bread and homemade jams, yoghurt and good coffee. We were able to sit outside and picnic at one of the tables outside in the evening. The room was simple but well appointed, large enough for all our luggage, and the bed comfortable. There is no air-con but the window had fly-wire and the temperature was very comfortable in early august. This was a good choice. The area of Cavallasca is pleasant enough but there is not alot there.
Given the suitability for self-catering, a fridge would be useful, but I doubt there is space in the room for one. A minor downpoint is that the rooms have full glass doors that open on to narrow walkway that other guests have to walk past, which means they can see in your room if the curtain is not pulled.
Animals on the farm, nice family.
There was only once out of 3 breakfasts when we had fresh brad, the 2 other days biscuits. Wifi did not work one out of the 3 evenings we spent there. There was no view from the apartment.
