The signposting to La fornace is not the best, especially when travelling from Rome in the early hours of the morning. It would be helpful to have clearer directions than the map on booking.dot.com.
We had an apartment with pull out sofa and a twin bedroom as we were joined by our adult children who live in Europe. This is an ideal place for a family get together. The facilities are comfortable and the grounds beautiful - lawns , flowers , large trees , a swimming pool, outdoor tables , bikes etc. It is well sited for visiting Assisi and other old Umbrian towns such as Spello, Gubbio and Perugia. The staff were extremely helpful and generous and made good recommendations for restaurants in nearby towns. You can also eat in the restaurant at la Fornace. We would return

The breakfast was very basic with bread, some meat, cheese, joghurt and cereals. No nice pastries as we had become used to at our previous accommodation! The breakfast tables were also inside a small breakfast room which was very dull. We found this strange as it was the middle of summer with beautiful weather and great views from their garden - we would have loved to have sat outside for breakfast! We decided to eat dinner there on our last night which was a big mistake - the quality of the food was incredibly average (actually not great at all, I could cook better myself) and cost 20-25 euros per person. We were expecting a fantastic home-made Umbrian meal and were really disappointed! Rather go into Assisi for lunch and dinners.
We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014. We liked staying outside of busy Assisi but being close enough that we could be there in 5 minutes when we wanted to. There is a lovely view of Assisi from the agriturismo grounds and we enjoyed spending time relaxing at the pool with the view looking up at the old town. The agriturismo is nothing fancy, but it is a nice peaceful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is very child friendly - we were the only non-Italians at the time and most of the other guests were Italian families with children (and one couple with a tiny dog!). Our room was average, nothing fancy and fairly small. The aircon, fridge and wifi all worked well. It was clean and comfortable. Although we were happy with the accommodation, I can't say I would definitely stay here again, I would look at other options as well. I had the impression from their website that it was slightly more "fancy" and thought it would be a nice spoil to end our holiday as it was slightly above our budget, but it is actually quite simple. Still nice though, I just had different expectations.

Breakfast was, even for Italian standards, very poor. Beds are nog made and upon request we got clean towels after four day'S.
De proximity to Assisi was great. Also the grounds with the large swimmingpool are beautiful.
