Agriturismo Poggiacolle extends over 2 hills overlooking the mediaeval towers of San Gimignano, 2 km away. The property offers a panoramic swimming pool, and rustic accommodation decorated in a Tuscan country style. Each room comes with terracotta floors, decorated ceilings, and views of the countryside. A self-catering apartment is also available. The Poggiacolle offers free use of mountain bikes, a bowls pitch, and a ping pong table. A generous buffet is served daily for breakfast. Stefano, our host, was wonderful, as was Marcella, the lady who served breakfast. The accommodation was lovely and private... lots of wildlife, birds, flowers by the swimming pool, etc. Very short drive to San Gimignano and also to Poggibonsi, where there was a big supermarket, etc.

great place, very well kept, superb view, in the middle of the champs.(need to have a car) The internet is only available at an external court but not in the rooms or nearby them.

TUDO!!! Perfeito! Só tivemos experiências positivas: nossa chegada e recepção pelo dono (Stefano); o visual do hotel, do quarto, a vista deslumbrante da nossa janela (inacreditável) café da manhã farto e delicioso, ótima localização (até para ir à pé para cidade, passeando pelas vinhas e oliveiras). Ótimo ponto para visitar o restante da Toscana de carro. Estrutura 100%. Um dia voltaremos, com certeza! De ficar só uma semana! :)

The Villa was great and in a beautiful location, with amazing views. It was only a short drive or (30min) walk to the nearest town. Everything you needed was near by. One of the best things about the Villa was the owner Stephano - who was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He recommended places to eat, guided us through the hills of Tuscany to our next destinations and helped millions when we had problems with our car.
