An excellent base for discovering surrounding cities and villages in Puglia from Bari to Lecce. Fabio, the Manager of Agritourismo Salinola together with his family and staff have been very friendly and agile hosts, always helpful and available for their guests. Because of change of ferry schedule on short notice we arrived few hours earlier at midnight, it was no problem to change our booking and move in our apartment one night earlier. Fabio picked us up in midnight in Ostuni with his car and guided us to our vacation residence. Breakfast was always excellent. We stayed for two weeks there and we and our children (7y and 3y) loved the spacious and quiet place (the pool, the cats with kittens and the dogs) and spent really lovely and relaxing holidays there.

This is a very well run establishment, most of the staff are family and Fabio and his wife see that the comfort of the visitors is first priority. The evening meal option is full of interest, using local produce in local recipes, many dishes being vegetarian. Breakfast is an excellent buffet of mixed delights. The swimming pool is attended and very safe. This is the best Agriturismo we have encountered, we plan to return next year.

The owner and his staff was very nice and welcoming. People native outside Italy; note that the owner speaks good english. There are a lot of facilities like swimming pools, sun beds, and a very nice garden. An eldorado for families with children, in the summer.

The price of the room was around 80 euro, which is not expensive, but including breakfast and dinner in the eveneing, the price for two persons exceed 140 euro. Nothing wrong with the dinner, but we considered 60 euro for two persons, a bit expensive in relation to other hotels during our travels. The food was based on products from the area, and mainly of vegetarian art. We did'nt order expensive wine either.
