Wanted to relax and get away from work at home. This was the perfect solution. To live by the country side but still near to town. Great food and the staff was very nice and helpful! Thumbs up!
Beautiful and tranquil, great food and great hosts. There was a lovely beach close by with waves!! Would love to return in future
Bit hard to find first time but OK after that
The restaurant is simply amazing - Sardinian food at a high standard and good value for money. The bungalows are rustic but comfortable. Very peaceful location in the countryside, but near to beaches and attractions.
Difficult to find, depending on which direction you are coming from.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and superclean, just go there
place is fantastic great service amazing food nice people
Fantastic food and very tranquil.
Very low water pressure in the shower. Problem with wifi the first two days.
Everything was perfect; food, people, location and the room. If you are going to the north of Sardinia, stay at Saltara!
You must eat supper here, it is simply delicious, but be warned you will eat too much, it's so tasty and tempting!
Unfortunately the card machine was broken so we had to make a special and unplanned trip back into town for cash to pay with.
The food was incredible. The best Ricotta Ravioli that I ever had. I would go back just for that
Room a bit dusty, but that is just me, as I am a bit allergic to dust
Tastefully decorated Beautiful swimming pool Friendly staff Excellent quality of the food - great value for money of the menu. Recommend to have a light lunch because the food is in quantity !
- poorly indicated - showing on signs as "Saltara restaurant" and not agriturismo Made it confusing - it's quite expensive for a bungalow in the forest which is in the end quite simple (to be noted very dark and poorly lighted)
We were upgraded and we really enjoyed our stay. We tried restaurant dinner and it was delicious (although a bit overpriced). Breakfast was also nice. It is close to lot of beaches out of which we think the best is Rena Majore (the closest one). Swiming pool is just perfect to refresh you if you need to cool down.
It is situated in inland so at night you can hear a lot of different animals (dogs / cows / birds etc.) but we didnt mind, we like sounds of nature:-)
It was a nice adventure to stay in the middle of the country side in a nice setting. The owners are very devoted and proud of their achievements. The food quality was good, specially the vegetarian starters. Wi-Fi was very good.
Food was not up to the excellent Reviews posted here by others. It was not clear to us that the main dish normally served is piglet. Again, good, but not excellent since it was a bit dry.
This place is very charming, the small cabins are very comfortable, and the food was very tasty. Everything is decorated with taste and style. The staff were all friendly and the walk to Rena Majore beach area was quite enjoyable. It was a very nice place to relax and explore the area. We had a wonderful time.
The agriturismo Saltara was the best place in Sardegna, we've visited. The owner's are especially friendly and have been great hosts. The mainbuilding and the restaurant are lovely, and so is the garden with the pool. As it's a little bit off the coast, it's very quiet with great nature surrounding the buildings. The bungalows are situated in the middle of a nice garden, under big trees and are equiped in a very lovely, romantic style. I do recommend the Saltara to everybody who loves a little quietness, great service and food (the breaktfast and dinner we had was delicious) and a place to remember.
The bungalow was warm and comfortable. The set dinner was delicious but maybe a little over priced.
We found it hard to find the property because there were signs for agriturismo Saltara but then the sign outside the gate said agricolo Saltara. We thought it was a different place.
Excelent and helpful staff. Very good food and breakfast. Quiet. Some people would like the back to nature cabin in the trees, though the very trees made the rooms pretty dark and sombre.
The "bungalow" was really a wooden cabin that although it had all the facilities, it felt like a glorified DIY project.Small. It seems to place more enfasis on it's restaurant than on it's lodgings. There was no resident lounge area. Small swimming pool.
Excellent, the Bungalow its unbeatable, they are fully equipped. Don´t forget dinner at least one time there, about 33 euros person, could be a bit expensive, but when you see the place and try the tasty food You'll think it´s cheap. The owner speaks spanish and english.. Or maybe more
Nothing important, Outside the bungalows there are mosquitos, but it´s normal in the middle of the forest, anyway they don´t entry inside. The windows have a net.
