Lovely place, nice and helpful staff, the service was excellent. Spacious rooms and nice atmosphere. All good, highly recommended.

Pleasant hotel with special family atmosphere. Located in very peaceful place with beautiful views. Helpful owners (speak English). Good breakfest. There is an offer to have a diner in the hotel (fix menu), 22 eur. (We can recommend). This hotel is excellent option for tourists who go by car (quite far from the centre of Salo`)

It was a surprise to find an old building that was wonderfully renovated inside but still had remnants of the old building. The bathroom was excellent and shower much better than some other hotels we stayed in during our holiday that were considerably more expensive. The staff (all family I think) were so friendly and the meals were a delight. Make sure you have dinner there as it is a real experience. The view of Salo and Lake Garda from our room was magnificent especially at night. There is a lovely terrace where you can have bar service and take in the view and sunshine. A beautiful garden area with sun lounges and walks around the olive groves. We were so disappointed we only stayed 1 night but it was then end of our holiday. What a place to spend our last night in Italy!

Little bit quirky from outside (red and white striped building - but was told traditional colours). Great views down towards the lake but surrounded by olive trees. Could sit on the terrace and soak up the views and rustic atmosphere. Really old building with original features. Our room was the oldest bedroom in the house with fresco ceiling and floor feature of escavations below (glass covered and illuminated). Fantastic bathroom. Breakfast was really good and lots of choice. Lots of different areas to sit both indoors and out. Friendly helpful staff.

Fantastic, an old vineyard beautifully restored and exquisitly decorated. Simply the best. Loved everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great Breakfast. We want to stay here again. 10 out of 10.

Realy nice people run this hotel. Beautifully restored old farm house Only opened this year. Gladly stay there again. Did evening meals there two of our three nights really did feel like a family guest.

Very, very welcoming family run hotel with each room uniquely furnished with antiques. Needs a swimming pool but this will come shortly. Steep drive needs care and you will want a taxi back from dining in Salo town as it is a very steep climb. Overall, a lovely nice surprise and something rather different from your average holiday accomodation. Highly recommended.

Great old farmhouse in the country elegantly and lovingly refurbished. Excellent food and views across Salo. Perfect place for a quiet retreat and Lake Garda sightseeing.

Some small comforts would be nice, like bathrobes or vanity sets in the bathrooms, as otherwise bathrooms are 5 star quality

This is a beautiful house which has just been renovated into a small hotel. The attention to detail is a pleasure to the eye. The family who own the house run the hotel and do everything they can to make the guests feel at home. The house is situated up on the hill, about 5 minutes drive from Salo centre. It's a very tranquil spot and perfect if you just want to relax and have no hussle and bussle! The value for money is excellent, it's a hotel I would go back to again and again.

There is currently no pool, no sunbathing facilities but that is in the planning for next season. They have just opened.

Wir können uns den guten Kritiken nur anschließen. Bei uns kam erschwerend hinzu, dass wir sehr erholungsbedürftig waren und das weitgehend schlechte Wetter unsere Freizeitmöglichkeiten einschränkte. Eine Herausforderung für jedes gute Hotelpersonal. Das Team der Villa Bissiniga verwöhnte uns mit einer liebevollen Rundumversorgung, fachkundigen Ratschlägen für lohnende Ausflüge in die Umgebung und unerschütterlichem Optimismus. Im Ergebnis hatten wir einen wunderschönen, erholsamen Urlaub. Auf unseren Fotos ist der Regen noch zu sehen, aber in unseren Herzen verblasst die Erinnerung daran zunehmend.

Die Villa Bissiniga ist für einen Kurzurlaub oder auch längeren Aufenthalt am Gardasee absolut empfehlenswert. Das freundliche Team, die Sauberkeit, die bestens und geschmackvoll restaurierten Zimmer, die schöne Aussichtsterrasse und natürlich die liebliche Umgebung des Gardasees (sehr zentrale Lage) sind ideal. Wir würden sofort wieder dorthin verreisen! Salò war für uns ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt, um den Gardasee und all' seine schönen Seiten zu entdecken.
