The Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Basically its like a block of appartments without kitchens, with a "courtyard" in the middle, at the bottom of a narrow poorly lit private drive. We thought it lacked any character. Our appartment was comfortable but we had to ask for glasses for water/minibar and there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room despite having a dining table and chairs for 8 people! The Dining room was basic and devoid of any feeling of warmth. Breakfast choice was limited with old cereal, the bread/croissants didn't taste fresh and we were allowed one cup of coffee -not a pot as usual. One freshly cooked egg or bacon rasher was an extra 5 euros! The service was surly and uninviting as were the housekeeping staff on the brief contact we had. The Restaurant only serves this breakfast, you cannot get an evening meal. We were directed to walk up the steep uneven poorly lit drive and then walk along the main road -no pavements- to a cafe serving chips with everything with a tv with the volume turned up so the staff could hear. Conversation was difficult. Sorrento was either a perilous walk along the same main road or transport was required. We disliked the place so much we left after one night and for very little extra found a comfortable hotel with good facilities and service a short safe walf from the middle of Sorrento. In our view it isn't a hotel but a b&b and isn't worth the 120 euros a night being charged. 60 euros maybe. We won't be returning.

It is a really very beautiful place. This laguna does look like at the picture. The other good thing is a staff - they are amazing and incredibly helpful. Especially Rosa. This a hotel for those who are looking for a very quite place with a savage surroundings, far from civilisation. But we took the car and it turned out to be nearly perfect vacation. The stay at this hotel becomes a chalenge without a car. For example, to get to the city or at least somewhere you'll have to go along the highway. To tell the truth, at night time it is a bit frigtnening. The breakfast is very-very Italian. In other words, only cold dishes, juice and youghurt. Internet works only in one place in the hotel. Sometimes cellphones doesn't work either.

Good for being out of sorrento so you can get away from the busy centre, bus service into sorrento is good however there is a walk from the hotel up a steep hill to the bus stop, this is manageable but be aware I.e infirm or people who struggle walking will need a car. The place was okay but the rooms were damp and smelled quite badly because of the damp. They tried to mask this by using bleach in the room when they clean it. This just meant the room smelt of bleach and then once that had worn off damp. The shuttle Bus service into the centre didn't run as they advertised. Also we were put in one of the apartments which was not connected to the hotel when we complained we were just told the apartment is a superior double Room as we had booked.

Wow what a place. The best room we have stayed in in four weeks in Italy. We were looking to stay in Sorrento bust away from the tourist crowds and this is the perfect place. Five acres of lemon and olive orchards a private beach and Rosanna. Rosanna seemed to run the place and what a wonderful person, couldn't have been more accommodating and informative. She made our stay a complete pleasure. The rooms are huge and very comfortably decorated, just beautiful. finding the place is a challenge especially if you have never been to the area but it is worth the search. Be prepared for a lot of stairs though the beach is far below and there were 54 stairs up to our room but after four weeks of touring that wasn't a problem for us. Other that breakfast and the mini bar you have to leave the property to eat. They should maybe keep some packaged meat and cheese available for sale in the lobby.

We liked its quiet and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by the lemon and olive groves, overlooking the Mediteranean along with its private lagoon area. It was close to Sorrento and a great launching point to visit the Amalfi Peninsula and Capri. The staff was always pleasant, helpful and eager to please. I'd call this a true gem for those who want to hang around, or those who value a quiet place to come back to every day. The only thing I wish we had was a wireless internet connection.

Very nice little hotel near Sorrento, in spectacular landscape (big garden with lemon trees, olive trees, incredible views over the bay, private beach). Clean, cozy and spacious rooms. Very helpful staff. Free parking. Ideal to visit Capri (departure from Sorrento) and good point of departure for the Amalfi Coast. Car compulsory. No restaurant or bar on the hotel. Poor breakfast.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent and the setting of the hotel very attractive. The shuttle was only available at certain times of the day and there was a long walk up a steep hill to get tot he public bus that took you into town. Also at the time of year we were there, only breakfasts were available so you yhad to eat out of the hotel for dinners.

This is a peaceful, lovely place within a lemon orchard. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable I was disappointed that they closed their restaurant. At the time of my booking, they had a restaurant that served dinner. It was a problem because of their location outside of the city of Sorrento....a car is needed if one doesn't want to walk up a long gravely road to the bus.

The most welcoming & helpful staff - especially Rosa and Antonino who willingly gave us their time and were very friendly. Fantastic view, private swimming inlet/ beach, close to Sorrento central but tucked away in a tranquil environment. Highly recommend this accommodation. Greg & Rosa

The style of this hotel was very good and the views were fantastic, and the rooms had a rustic charm. The hotel had a lot to offer, but our party of 4 are all in there sixties, with a steep walk of almost 1 in 5 to the small cove and equally steep track upto a very dangerous and poorly lit main road.As the hotel had ceased doing evening meals and the bar didnt appear to be opperating, this hotel had more or less become just a b&b,With our ages the location of this hotel was regretable not suitable.

The hotel was very peaceful and quiet and the rooms were nicely decorated/furnished. The staff were accomodating. We had understood from some descriptions that there was a restaurant that would be available for dinner. Previously the facility did have a restaurant. While the hotel was able to provide the names of restaurants close by, this was a little disappointing.
