Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Cost was reasonable compared to alternatives.

Spacious room, fairly recently fitted out. Clean and regularly maintained. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful proprietors and staff. Very reasonable prices, perhaps reflecting location and limited facilities. Bike hire and free wi-fi readily available, although we did not use these.

You have to accept that this is a B&B and not a hotel - hence reception is manned only at set times. For a modern building, it was surprising how noise and footfall in apartments above and to the side travelled. The B&B is 8-10 minutes' walk to the city walls and no route is very pedestrian-friendly; no doubt it's quicker by bike, if not necessarily safer!

Everything was fine for the price we paid. Maybe the breakfast table could have had some more savory items, most of the food on offer was sweet.

Location The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the town walls. The instructions on the website are good to get you to within a few yards (as will be a sat nav) but I must admit I missed it at first. As you come away from the walls you will first follow the road around to the left and pass the churches on either side of the road. The road then turns right and there is a no-entry sign ahead of you. The hotel is in a courtyard on the left at this corner, there is a sign but I must admit to missing it. You can't actually see the hotel from the road you turn into the courtyard and then right into another courtyard where there is some hotel parking. This is free and there is more free parking nearby if all the spaces have been taken. The hotel is on the first floor and note that reception is closed from 12.30 to 3.30. I can't remember when it closes in the evening. I must admit I only noticed that closing times when we were en-route and realised we would be arriving about 12.45. So I emailed reception and the owner kindly waited for us and delayed his lunch! Staff As I say the owner held off from lunch to cover our delayed arrival and check out was also very friendly. Room size, comfort, amenities and cleanliness The room was large as was the bathroom and we also had an extra single bed in the room. There is a small TV and there is a small table and chairs outside each room. The room has an air conditioner. There is also a TV room available. The breakfast was good. Value At €95 I thought this was good value given the included breakfast, wifi , parking and location. I would definitely use this hotel again.

You have free wifi access though you need the code which I forgot to ask for so I had to wait until the morning to get it when we came back after dinner, I tried to log on then realised the code was not in the room handbook and reception had closed. It would be better to put the code in the room.

Lovely staff, extremely helpful, great location with a bus stop 200m away, 5 mins walk to inside Lucca walls. We were 3 girls backpacking and we felt very safe here, it was clean and tidy with comfy beds! The breakfast was an array of different local produce, and english tea along with the usual coffee, juices etc. The staff looked after our bags the next day so we could go sightseeing. Cant fault this place for the money w epaid. Thanks Lucca you were amazing! xx

The brekfast room was quite busy and only me and my 2 friends were talking, the 3 other couples all were quiet, maybe some music at breakfast woudl be nice.

We have just stayed at the Arte Nel Centro and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The hospitality is amazing and the key to this place. They made our stay with them a pleasure. Our room was lovely & spacious with a private bathroom, the b&b is in a great location, a ten minute walk to the station and less than five minute walk along a central road to the arena. A truely great place to stay to explore the city. The room was recently decorated, very spacious and clean. Breakfast was abundant & lovely and they even had sourced gluten free bread as I explained beforehand one of us was a coeliac. We were recommended a range of lovely restaurants in the area that gave us the opportunity to try some proper authentic local Italian food. We couldn't recommend this b&b enough. Much better service than a hotel!

Quarto espaçoso e limpo.Bicicletas a disposição para alugar. Simpática recepção, mesmo com nosso atraso.

Para encontrar o endereço foi um pouco difícil pois o prédio fica em um "anexo" da rua.

Erg vriendelijke mensen die veel informatie gaven. Het was ook prettig dat we fietsen konden huren.

- Pas le plus simple à trouver avec un gps. Je conseille de repérer à l'avance un croisement proche ou de visualiser avec g Earth.

L'accoglienza e la disponibilità dei proprietari, e il loro piacere di chiacchierare. E' un posto tranquillo benché poco lontano dal centro.

alle 2 di notte essere svegliata da un gruppo di ragazze in arrivo che hanno fatto parecchio rumore ed hanno continuato a farlo per diverso tempo!
