Very pleasant staff, wonderful location on Piazza Grande, nice place to stay if you want few calm days in small city-museum with outlet near by Bells from church nearby will wake you up at 7 a.m.

We chose this hotel because of the location - right off the highway between the Venice airport and our destination Slovenia. We were very pleased with our room and the attentiveness of the staff. The breakfast could be better. There was only two sets of towels, it should be three sets in the triple room.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Ai Dogi. The Staff of this hotel was very helpful and friendly. They did everything in their power to make us feel welcome. Palmanova is a very quiet place without many things/activities to do, so you'll definitely need a car or some other kind of transportation to make it worth the trip (I prefer other parts of the country, but we stayed six days and that’s just enough to see the most spectacular things; like the caves in Slovenia en the beautiful city of Trieste). However; if you really want to go to this part of Italy I will recommend this hotel. The owner and his employees will make you feel at home in his modern and clean hotel located in the centre of this historic town (I don't understand why it's so quiet in the evening though....one reason would be that there are a lot of alternatives for old centres; Italy is one big museum I guess :). You won’t get disappointed, otherwise I’ll make it up to you :-D

Convenience. It was easy to reach the hotel from the high way. There is parking place for cars. It's suited in the downtown. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Good food. The personnel was very friendly and ready to help with anything we needed.

We chose Ai Dogi so that we could be awakened every morning by the sound of the duomo bells @ 0700, and get a start on the day...no kidding. This is a fantastic little boutique hotel in the best of locations. We could not have asked for a better stay. Staff is incredible will help you choose ritorante's and other activities. Use the bicycles it is a great way to see Palmanova and its surroundings. We will return to this hotel and the area fro further exploration. In this trip we ventured to Gorizia and Nuovo Goricia. There is nothing to not like...!

The location is phenomenal; the room was quite good and there was even some space in the bathroom to hang things. (Very rare) The shower was a little small.
