Location. Very close to Cipro metro and a Catholic church that celebrates daily mass. Walking distance to pharmacy, grocery, eatery and Vatican. Service: Courtesy slippers are provided. Beds are made daily.
Service Zero staff inside the building, literally feels like we're alone. Except for when "ghost" touch our bedroom to make up our beds. On the first day of arrival, no staff to greet us despite them knowing we were arriving. The one person (Dimitri) who later came to us on the first day, does not speak english, and demanded that we pay immediately for the 4 nights. He also photocopied all our passports. (Normally, I would be asked to pay on our last day.) Advertised that they serve breakfast directly to your room. Breakfast however is anything but, in that we have to walk 200 meters away from the building to get a croissant and cappuccino. If you want a hot chocolate you have to pay extra. No business card or any contact to Dimitri, the only person of staff we saw, therefore effectively having no contact in case of emergencies. Very small garbage bin only. If you have a lot you should throw your own garbage. Bedroom (Quadruple) Beds are not comfortable, and pillows are too flat. Folding bed is old and unstable. There are bed bugs. Floor is not cleaned by room service. No radio alarm as per advertised. Refrigerator is too small, only for 4 small water bottles. Air conditioner drips liquid and constantly makes loud noises, thus not conducive for sleeping. There is no telephone in the bedroom. The shelves of the main closet are broken. The door to the room requires a lock to get out, even in the building. Windows cannot be closed. Building Looks deserted and old. Main door is fronting garbage bins. Need a key to exit the building, poses a potential fire hazard. Oddly, you can enter the building with just a push of a button, which is makes the building unsafe and unsecured. Building telephone doesn't seem to work. Door to washing machine is locked, it is advertised that we can use it anytime. Bathroom Mirror too high. Towel rack is directly above bidet Shower too small (2x2 feet only) Cup holder beside bidet?
no reception when I checked-in, I must call and wait the guy come back. The air-conditioner was very very noise and another big noise from outside when cars pass. I couldn't sleep well all nights. Very bad !!
We enjoyed the breakfast, even though it wasn't a large one, the coffee and pasteries were delicious. The place is 10 minutes from the Vatican and 2 minutes from the metro. Air conditioner works and there is a refrigerator.
They didn't wash our floor the whole time we were there. The Wi-fi worked on my phone, but not on my sister's.
breakfast (not in B\B but in bar)
rude, unfriendly phone calls; sheets, blankets, towels and bathroom not cleaned daily
It's close to the Vatican area and the metro station.
Unfortunately, we needed help at night because our bedroom key fell off the hand and slipped under the door and for some minutes we had to stay outside. It was about 10-11 pm and there was nobody to help us. We called to the number they gave me for any emergence and the guy who answered didn't believe that it happened and told us that it was too late and this problem just could be solved at morning. So we should have to stay outside all night long !!!! Fortunately, i tried to pick up the key with a paper and i got it. For me they should have an emergence key for this kind of situation, or give to the guests two keys.
Close to Vatican City and cleanliness
Location, staff, breakfast, no toiletries
