L'Aia Country Holidays  

The staff were great! Veronica and Stephano were the 2 we dealt with most of the time. Both were very good with communications, deserve lots of credit for that! :>) :>) Stephano even stopped by on his way home one evening to drop something off for another customer and had a little visit with us on the patio. Very informative as to local customs, agriculture, history etc. Answered all our questions, even the silly ones that us non Italian speaking folks will ask!

My only recommendation, add a coffee maker or espresso maker for the kitchen. I didn't feel it would be right to make and takeaway from breakfast area. Not good cups to do so with either. That was the only thing I missed was an extra cup in the daytime or evening.

The room was very nice. The grounds were beautiful and scenic, very well kept ...we think anyone should enjoy the setting.The food was good and hospitality excellent. We would rate this stay a 10. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

L'Aia is magical. It's situated in an olive tree garden on a gentle hill. The atmosphere is serene. Also there are only a few units on the ground so it's not crowded. There is also a lovely pool and free internet/computer to use. Our unit had a kitchenet and a washing machine, which was very convenient. The decor is so charming - that of an old farmhouse. Each unit has its own entrance and a small patio or bistro table& chairs. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy.

The only difficulty was getting around because we did not have a car. So we had to take a cab or bus to Siena. Also we arrived on a Sunday and there were no restaurants or grocery stores open nearby. So it's a perfect place if you have a vehicle or don't mind spending a bit on cabs.

Great abd relaxing place, sorrunded by the tuscany countryside. Room are clean and with all comfort. A dive in the swimming pool is wonderful.

Very nice location close to the centre of Siena. The room was very small but you shouldn't stay inside when you visit Siena ;-). The garden is very large with olive trees, very nice and big pool with enough space to house a lot of people. Busstop 50 meters from the location where the bus goes to the centre of Siena. Excellent location for visits to Siena but also to other cities or winery's!

The location claims to have "sound proof" rooms, this is absolutely not true and I would recommend that this is taken of the facilities. Our room was separated from the other room by a wooden door. We could hear every word which was spoken in the room next to us, we could even hear our neighbor snoring at night!

Air conditioning was not functioning on first day. Hotel reception consists of a small hut near hotel with a telephone. After using telephone air conditioning was fixed on the next day. If you need to visit Sienna with young children this is a reasonable choice as it has good facilities and space. Remember this is a 2 star hotel.

The grounds were lovely and the breakfast excellent.

Room accommodation. Overpriced.

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel. It is not a typical hotel but villas with privacy. You can enjoy a nice Toscana view from the garden. The lady at the reception was very kind to help us finding the location.

We could not get enough hot water from the shower. It was a bit freezing.

Petit-déjeuner froid sans personnel pour vous accueillir et vous servir (buffet anonyme) : un peu le contraire d'un bed and breakfast du coup !

Fantastica posizione, ampio giardino di uliveti con piscina, graziosa aia centrale con edifici ben ristrutturati e decorati con gusto. Ideale per riposarsi ma nello stesso tempo a soli 15 minuti di macchina dalle mura storiche della città di Siena. Le stanze sono grandi e pulite ma un pò spoglie, ammobigliate con mobili antichi ma niente di speciale.

L' agriturismo sembra abbandonato, non abbiamo mai incontrato nessuno del personale dell' albergo in 2 giorni neanche a colazione. La colazione e mediocre per non dire di scarsa qualità niente prodotti localli solo prodotti industriali da supermercato economico.

Le site est superbe et très bien entretenu

Le petit déjeuné n'est pas du tout à la hauteur de l'hotel, produits sans saveur produits industriels

La tranquillità del luogo, la cortesia del personale, la posizione dell'albergo punto strategico per muoversi, il cibo.

La colazione un pò scarsa.
