We needed an easy place to stay close to train station and then bus to airport at the end. Worked out great. Staff super friendly and informative!
Friendly Staff Nice location near station and only one minute from restaurants. Breakfast was served outside which was nice, not a massive choice but adequate. Was able to leave our bags there on the last day until we caught the train
Good position - Close to the centr Price Very good personal
We were served an perfect breaktfast in their garden. Quiet at night and still very central and good beds.
Poor connection to wifi and when it worked it was slow. We were leaving venice late the last night but they could only store our bags until 7pm.
Location close to the station yet in a quiet courtyard. Some restaurants and bars really close to the canal, with tourists and locals. Although in a quiet area it wasn't far to walk to the crowded (too crowded?) areas. Great for a different view of Venice. Bedroom was huge with marble shower room! Staff were very friendly and upgraded us.
The only slight disadvantage was that you had to step down to get to the bathroom and then step up again. We were scared we might fall down the step if we woke up in middle of night to go to bathroom. We left the bathroom light on and that solved the "problem".
Comfy beds. Helpful staff. Clean room. Easy walk from train station - just make sure you follow their directions as they are hidden away.
Beware the pigeons - eat breakfast under the awning! Typical Italian attitude to electrics - occasional loose socket in room and not sure where you are meant to plug in the kettle - but at least there was kettle.
Rooms were clean. The more modern rooms were much better. Good service at reception Staff all polite.
Breakfast let it down. All cold food apart from toast. Much of the food pre-packed and required very little effort on the part of the hotel to prepare. Outside area would not suit some who don't like being surrounded by pigeons.!
good location with good staff and breakfast
the facilities are a little bit old
The room was damp and smelled strongly of mold. Wouldn't recomend this hotel to anyone.
Great location - handy for vaporettos, restaurants, bars, markets, yet not too busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.
Church bells at 7am every morning, but I think that would happen anywhere in Venice!
Very comfortable and security conscious location. Staff very friendly and great breakfast
Happy with everything
Staff (Nicolo) were excellent. Rooms very clean and charming. The water taxi called ahead without us asking and arranged for Nicolo to meet us at the jetty. This is an amassing place with a real atmosphere.
Our stay was too short
great location. Many restaurants near by. Great value for the money. Great breakfast Very accomadating to a family of 5
had to sit to take a shower
Small room but adequate size for short stay. Exceptionally clean with great facilities. Staff very friendly. Breakfast great. Very security conscious
Ca' Due Leoni was perfect for me - travelling for an academic conference. It was quiet, simple, spotlessly clean and easily accessible from the station with a suitcase. A classic Italian pensione with lovely owners and staff. I'll be back when I have the opportunity!
All staff are very friendly especially the boy. The breakfast is rich.
small shower, a little bit expensive for what you get considering that Venice is an expensive city so for just two or three days not a big issue
Facility is too old and bathroom too small
Cosy little hotel with friendly staff.
The hotel is quite far from the piazalle roma where we had to board for our cruise the next day. If we did not have the help of a porter, it would have been very difficult to carry all the luggage until the hotel.
It was in a lovely quiet part of Venice. Close to good restaurants and close walk to the train station which is really important in Venice.
Mosquitoes in the room and air conditioning was not good.
Bed Bugs!!!!! Don't stay here!!!!! My husband and I slept in a double bed with our little baby and the next morning I kept killing little bugs that were crawling all over the bedding. I killed some in the bathroom and on the bedroom floor too. We killed probably close to 15 large bed bugs. I finally took one to the front desk staff to ask them what they were and he proceeded to tell me he had no idea and that he was really sorry. I would stay far away from this place!!! The bathroom smelled horridly of moth balls which leads me to believe that they tried to get rid of the bed bugs previous occasion.
Loved the option of having breakfast in our room or in the courtyard. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable.
Not the traditional European breakfast as expected. Hotel was really hard to find. Had to keep asking for directions and just happened to venture around a different walkway to find hotel. A lot of water damage to the base of the wall and on the ceiling.
I got my 2 passports and money stolen while departing on the ferry from the hotel. Breakfast was average
It is quite near the train station, and with the fair price, it is a good place if you dont want to carry your luggages for kilometers away from train station.
