The 4-star Hotel Europa is set on the strip that connects the Big Sea with the Small Sea in Taranto, at the junction of Via Roma and Corso Due Mari, with views of the Swing Bridge, the Aragonese...
Score from 52 reviews Very good
Location 5 minutes from the cathedral; good rooftop bar and restaurant; exceptionally friendly staff.
The hotel is located in a block that looks as though it has been bombed, but don't be put off: the area is really quite nice and very convenient.
Very inviting room, good value for money,
Scary surroundings and access, we arrived at the hotel and decided to go away, we cannot say anything about services indoor, because the location's unsafe aspect was enough for us. The "parking" was a space among decadent and runned down buildings. We lost the whole amount of the stay, but go back safe home, and this is what matters.
Central location with free parking (although not easy). Festival going on in the local part of town which made everything interesting. Nice roof top terrace.
The area is VERY run down and some people might find it intimidating and dirty.
beautiful room. spotless.
breakfast was only ok. location was very run down but very central.
Located in a characterful old part of the city, though you would need a detailed map or navigation system to locate the hotel the first time around. Room was spacious and nicely furnished. WiFi worked well. Evening dining on the rooftop was a pleasant experience.
The view at night from the roof. It is central to old town but Taranto not a pretty town the Museum however is worth the visit.Staff very helpful and obliging breakfast fine.
All, exclusive Breakfast.
The Breakfast is poor. At 8:50 everything was empty. When we asked additional meal - staff told that they haven't. Only coffee and sugar. Even don't tell "Sorry".
Close to the Easter processions which is why we went to Taranto. Staff obliging
Fairly noisy but shutters helped minimise this.
Nice small hotel in an interesting part of the old city.
The hotel is neat and safe.
Location is poor. It's very hidden...
Nice hotel with excellent attentive personnel.
Taranto's old town is very dirty and seems unsafe. Basically looks like a bombed out section of a city.
The building is nice from the inside.
The breakfast was really poor. The hotel is situated in the middle of the slums. Some of the stuff couldn't speak only italian language. The parking was a disaster.
By car extremly difficult to reach. Parking a nightmare.
