location was great , room decorated very nice
stuff in a restoran unfriendley , noisey hotel in a morning , maybe housmade want you to live earley ha ha ha , will not use it again ...
I loved it. The room was very spacious decorated in a traditional venetian style with the chandelier to die for! The attention to the details in decorating was rather amazing! There was a lift our our floor. Located in nice area with some very good restaurants nearby.
On arrival I was taken into the wrong room but all was sorted out quickly. The use of internet and logging in wasn't properly explained to us upon our arrival but it helped us to spend less time in the web and more enjoying the city. Breakfast room is rather simple compared to other hotels I've stayed in Venice
Comfortable room, fantastic bed, nice personal
Good location, breakfast, staff are good..
The very helpful staff. Espresso coffee available at breakfast for no extra charge. Nice & quiet.
Marble floor and good bath. Location near small, interesting museums and 'real' shops and cafes. Seeing the alta acqua and people arriving for work at the train station and through canneregio. Walking to the opera at La Fenice and cocktails at the bar in Florian, the Arsenale and deliveries/cleaning watching. I walked everywhere bar water taxi from airport. I loved it.
The streets are narrow and dark. I arrived late at night which was a bit daft. Hotel helped but whilst very small and safe it takes 24 hours to get the hang of Venice.
Great hotel for the price we paid. We got upgraded to suite witch was just fantastic. Breakfast was really good too. Highly recommend to other travelers.
Internet connection could be a bit better.
really clean, warm and big room. nice breakfast. The location is good, but you'd better carefully check your route in google maps. 20 minutes to San Marco.
The hotel is fantastically located and the facilities are excellent. The service provided by the staff is wonderful and the breakfast choice is great - even the personal touch in providing your morning coffee just how you like it. We will definitely be making a return visit.
Everything - breakfast, WiFi, facilities. everything was awesome.
Friendliness and flexibility of staff. 2pm checkout Perfect location
Everything is great and above expectation.
Nothing we dislike.
Very beautiful room, friendly staff, good breakfast & perfect location!
Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in room, but you can buy some hot drinks from reception.
Good heating, nice breakfast, charming building.
staff could be better informed in order to be of bigger help -we took a whole trip to Murano as per their recommendation just to find out the only attraction (the museum) was closed since 2 months ago. They are also not flexible if you want to make changes to your reservation. Rooms have a "Venetian style" -but some of them actually look like a brothel
Location! Just in the middle of a quiet location. 8 min walk away from busy station area and 10 min walk other way to tourist areas!
What you get for the money is incredible! Kind stuff, location not noisy, big comfortable bed, bathroom and kitchen with everything you need, very well working wi-fi. What I liked the most though was the intimacy you get by not living in a hotel. I really felt like I am going home there. Thanks!
We loved being away from the crowds in the tourist centre, but with easy access on foot to everywhere we wanted to visit. Good cafes and restaurants nearby, and easy access to train station. Rialto Bridge was about 10mins on foot, and St Mark's another 10mins or so afterwards so everything was very accessible. The red room (we had room 101) was simply beautiful. Very quiet and overlooking a courtyard. The staff were friendly and helpful. They made reservations for NYE for us in advance of our arrival which was particularly useful. I can't fault this hotel: the room really made it!
Some tea or coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.
Very convenient hotel. Everything above is luxury, everything below is a compromise on comfort.
WLAN connection unstable.
Excellent room and linen. Breakfast was good for a hotel of this size
The night staff at reception was rather indifferent unlike the others during the day.
Excellent hotel. Excellent staffs, nice breakfast, beyond expectation. We are so impressed. Stay there and I am 100% sure you will not regret it.
We stayed with our 1 year old baby for 3 nights. We asked and got the room on the ground floor to save us the trouble of using the stairs with a stroller. Only when we arrived we found there's an elevator, but we were happy with the ground floor so we stayed. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the water bus station and even closer to some nice resturants and a supermarket. The staff was very kind and helpful, and helped us book a table in one of the resturants as well as set a baby chair on brrakfasts. The baby crib provided was big and the baby was very happy staying in it. I don't know if it's that specific room or not, but we had free Wi-Fi in the room itself. All in all, if you don't expect a five stars hotel, you will have a very good value for money.
The double bed is actually 2 mattreses joint together. All mirrors in the room were very old with stains.
Comfort. Staff. Location.
Breakfast, also my kid was 2 years and 8 months they want to collect 8 Euros for her breakfast.
This hotel was well located within walking distance of all of Venice. We parked the car at Mestre, and took the train to S Lucia station - only 2,50 euros - and its a great way for your first sight of Venice when you walk out onto the Grand Canal. We had a lovely hotel room - very comfortable, nicely decorated. Became a very special trip as my partner proposed to me on the Rialto Bridge! And of course I had to say, yes.
The hotels location is fantastic, although harder to find it is just the right distance from all the noisy tourist areas but still very close to explore. The bedrooms are gorgeous, just what you expect from Venetian style. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.
The only complaint I could make would be the hardness of the pillows, but that might just be personal preference.
fab fab fab staff great location quiet good size room close to airport taxi great local atmosphere great bars and restaurants close good choice and great priced restaurants
no tea and coffee making facilities in room bed valence dirty fab but furnishings starting to look a little tired and grubby
