One of the best three star hotels. Small reception but the room was incledibile. Venetian style, very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast in the morning. Very rich. Then I ate in the evening in their restaurant. Thanks to Rita. She's a very kind girl. She recommended me the fried fish ...was very good. None. Everything was perfect! The only thing: there is no elevator, but the staff helped me with the suitcase. |

The hotel was easy to find and very central for Venice. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The dining area could be improved. There are photo's of how it used to look and it would be great if they re-created that. |

Great location..room was huge and wonderful I booked this room and paid more than I should have for the canal view. In order to view the canal we had to stand on a chair and hang out the window. Very disappointed |

Room adequate, air conditioning (during heat wave) in room good, breakfast modest but adequate. Room on 4th floor (no elevator), bathroom across hall (no ventilation), internet free but only worked near front desk, which had 2 seats in traffic stream for entire lobby. |

The hotel was comfortable and it was located near all the stores and san marco. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shower needs to run for about 10 minutes before there is any hot water and you cannot use the hotel phone to call out. Dont have a great restaurant either. |

It has a good location. Unlike other hotels that claim that they are close to San Marco, this hotel is close to San Marco. And unfortunatly we had luggage, which is not good to have when when walking around in Venice (luggage storage was closed when we arrived at the station), but to reach the hotel from Realto bridge we did not have to clime up or down and steps, nor cross any canal !! yippyy :) Breakfast could be better |

Very good location to all major attractions. Our room looked right over the canal and we could see the condolas passing by. The room itself was nicely done in the Venitien baroque style. Very pleasant people at the front desk and at the restaurant (for breakfast and dinner). Mildew stains in the corners of the shower. Needed to ask a new password every 24hrs to use their wireless. And was asked to pay my bill in cash ten minutes before check out time after a 5 nite stay( they said that the credit card machine was not working properly). Problem resolved quickly when we swiped my credit card and payment was accepted:)) |

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, a short walk to Marco Polo Square. Breakfast was quite good. We had a poor shower. Just trickled water and went hot and cold but it didn't bother us much. |

I loved the location of Al Gazzettino. And my room was so beautiful! The hotel is easily reached by public boat and then some wandering through the streets of Venice. Buy a map--although the streets and the maps don't necessarily match! Don't worry, it's actually fun to wander for a bit and you will find the place |

The rooms were big and tidy, breakfast was quite nice and the breakfast room staff very friendly. There were problems with the reservation -- an extra bed had been confirmed by the hotel by email but was not available when we arrived. After several quite persistent attempts at getting us to accept a less suitable accommodation, the clerk agreed to give us enough beds/rooms -- my thanks for that. |

The hotel was in close proximity to san marco, the hotel room was well furnished, decorated and the bed was comfortable, the morning breakfast was yummy and the hotel staff were very helpful. Having chosen the hotel for free wireless internet access i was suprised when they tried to charge us for it when we arrived at Eur 2 / hour. They yielded when i reminded them that it said it was free on-line. The bathroom let the room down with a mouldy shower, cracked hand basin, plasticky toilet roll holder etc. |

The hotel was located in a great section of Venice with easy access to San Marco square and the Rialto Bridge. The people working in the hotel were very hospitable and extremely helpful. The room overlooked a canal with a very small terrace. Fabulous! |

Great location. Extremely convenient for us since we were travelling with two small children and had to come back to the hotel for sometime during the day. Very close to the busy lane between Rialto and San Marco yet very quiet since its located on a quiet parallel lane. The staff was very courteous and there were no unpleasant surprises. |

Nice room in a good location to all main sights. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok. Room was too hot. The airconditioning, more like a fan did not work and was very uncomfortable on our second night. When opened windows for breeze the noise outside was loud. Lucky we had ear plugs. |

It's hard to find the hotel, but once found, you will always know the way home. Location is good, shops/ restaurants within reach. U'll never go hungry or thirsty! Room is superb spacious. There is no lifts and we thought that they might helped us to carry our luggages to 4th Floor. Prepare to walk up to your room with your luggages! |
