Very friendly and helpful staff, small intimate hotel, great restaurant 500m away. Great suggestions about where to visit, information on local history. A thoroughly pleasant experience. On a paved bike trail, old rr, if you're a cyclist. Easy parking, quiet, away from center.
Some italian is useful but not necessary.
The room was attractively decorated and was comfortable, clean, and a good size. We were very happy with it. The staff were friendly and eager to be helpful. We followed the proprietor's recommendations for a good pizza place in Cortina and dined out in Al Passetto restaurant. They served the best pizza we have had on our travels. A must, if you visit Cortina,
TV but no English Language channels. Location is a little out of town. You would need to have a car.
Very nice and clean rooms.
A bit far away from the town on foot.
The staff is very nice and helpful, the view is amazing!
No minibar in the room, the blankets are single and not so comfortable.
A little out of the centre for quietness. The owner takes an interest in his guests
Staff is lovely. Helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and with balcony. Right on the hiking trail into town. Bathtub !!
No place to eat within walking distance.
Good location if you have a car as it's out of the bustle of Cortina. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Little bar on site. Good bathroom with shower that doesn't leak (a rarity in hotels!). Great base for hiking in the mountains.
The walls were rather thin so you could literally hear your neighbour having a wee...and if they came back late at night and had long showers followed by hours of the hair dryer! Take earplugs!
Hosts are friendly, competent, always available. Perfect for bicycle tourers, the hotel is right on the famous "Ciclabile delle Dolomiti" Do not miss the apple pie!
Affordable room in a very pretty spot. The view in the front is gorgeous, there is a good walking and cycling track just behind.
Having to log on all the time to use the wifi.
Very nice hotel, clean, with a great breakfast. Nice view, good location.
No A/C and no possibility to get heating when wanted (no individual control of the system). The mattress and pillows were so hard I had a hard time sleeping. Some people like that though, so it may be a good thing for some.
place, view, decoration, confort , easy parking,
coofe was not included. (colazione)
The bed was comfortable. The price was good. The owner smiled and was helpful.
Having to log in to use the internet frequently.
Very clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.
On the main road north to Austria and was a bit noisy early in the morning with trucks going uphill.
Family run hotel, very kind people. Clean, breakfast restaurant very nice and clean.
Wifi only in the lounge.
Welcoming Comfort Location
No possibilities for diner in the hotel
Friendly owner and staff. Fair breakfast. Clean room. Easy parking.
Small room. Only double bed. Poor WiFi coverage. Long walk to city centre.
Too small rooms. Too far avay from city and not that much close to nearest ski facilities. Poor or no Wi-Fi at all. Too expensive for quality.
Staff and cleanliness
There was no wifi
The room was nice.
1. Wonderful hotel: very clean, comfortable and incredibly cozy and beautiful. It was our best hotel out of 7 where we stayed in Italy. It is pleasure to stay there a week - we had one night only and still regret we did not spend more time there. 2. Nice breakfast. Indeed high quality and fresh. 3. Easy to find in you travel by car. 4. Free parking available. 5. You can see the stars from the balcony. Stars, snow (there was snow in 12 October 2013), fragrance from the conifers - so romantic. 6. Don't think I am the hotel owner =) We have really enjoyed it.
If you do not travel by car, then I am not sure the location is comfortable. It is about 30 minutes walk from the city center, and when you return back to the hotel, you have to go up the hill. But we have seen buses anyway (not till late!)
