Al Poggio Antico

Nice, comfortable apartment with a great view over the Amalfi coast from the balcony - as you would hope since it's 1,228 steps uphill from Amalfi! It's a tough walk but can be avoided as there is everything you need in Pogerola, a mere 178 steps (5 minutes) further up the hill. We were left some supplies for our first breakfast in the apartment which was nice. Overall just very relaxing.

No wifi (but head up to Gerry's pub in Pogerola) and no washing machine in apartment.

The accommodation is fanastic breathtaking views of the valley overlooking the sea ,surrounded by vineyards , oranges and olive trees . Will return to Italy just to go there again.

Views from apartment was impressive like a breath taking. Also instruments we needed to stay for several days were equipped with.

Although this point is not belonged to the apartment itself, the road to the apparent is quite narrow and bad condition. Because of this, parking on the road is almost impossible, so it would be needed to book a parking space the apartment can provide.

Really beautiful view. A well-designed scenic path descends from the parking to the house among flowers and plants. The room condition was good and the apartment owner was friendly and helpful (she speaks english).

Dificult to find. On the end of the way GPS navigator is almost useless on the steep slope as it doesn't take into account the vertical dimension. It's better to have a copy of booking.com directions page and don't miss the last turn named “Sharp right onto Via Valle di Pogerola. Restricted usage road”. The turn is actually sharp (about 180 grades) and poorly visible.

There was a very well described route to the hotel. And fine service eventhough we arrived too early. The view from our terrasse was beautiful. If you want some days off with a lot of possibilities for walking and enjoying the nature this is perfect. But the last part of the drive from the airport takes a hour to drive (25 km) because of the narrow mountain roads. We had about 100 steps from the parking spot our apartment, so you should be in ok shape to stay here. We had a nice stay and good service from the staff.

The view was amazing.The apartmant was nice clean,quiet, everything that you need in the kitchen and was very big space for two of us.So we could recomand for families too. Pogerola central is 10 minutes,where you can have nice food. The accomodation definitely worth this money!

Far away from Amalfi central,you can reach with bus, in every one hour, half an hour way or you can take the steps around 400 and it tooks half an hour,but we just recomand for young people or who is very fit:) Only small thing which one we missed was the oven or a microwave.

The pleace is nice anyway and not so expensive.

very beautiful place, but it is really, really far from Amalfy and sea. it is 25 min. to walk using ONLY stears, and I can say that you have to plan all the day if you want just to swim in the sea.

Al Poggio Antico is higher up in the mountains. Not directly in Amalfi. Giving it a wonderful view of the coast. The location is a lot less touristic and there's a lot of walking and steps to climb so the frail need not apply.

Great top floor apartment with roof terrace and stunning views. Very friendly owner / staff.

Parking is very tight. there are spaces for 3 cars. if your the one parked on the left you have to be either a real expert parker, on speaking terms with your neighbours to help you out....or you have to drive a very small car ! We just left ours parked there during our stay and walked to town !

The view is so good and the room is big enough for four people. And you also can cook for your own. The people who love hiking is a good choice to choose this place

You can not get access to the internet and it is not so convenient to center

Ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Posizione eccezionale immersa nel verde e con splendida vista. Ideale per buoni camminatori (Amalfi e' raggiungibile con una scalinata di circa 1.000 gradini con splendidi scorci). Appartamento pulito, ben arredato e molto spazioso con grandiosa terrazza panoramica.(App. "A" Lara). Struttura indipendente. Farsi indicare dalla gentilissima Signora Luisa la Trattoria delle sorelle Rispoli a Pogerola (cene abbondanti a prezzo modico). Fantastici i baba' e le delizie al limone delle pasticcerie di Amalfi.

La strada di accesso e' piuttosto stretta con difficolta' di manovra. Parcheggio praticamente impossibile (indispensabile prenotare il posto macchina a pagamento; circa 80 scalini per raggiungere la casa). Il nostro appartamento aveva la zona notte in un soppalco, carino ma alto solo circa m. 1,80.

La casa era confortevole,comoda e pulita.Ingresso indipendente e ottima vista. Ottima la posizione per visitare la costiera.

All'arrivo, nonostante la prenotazione fosse avvenuta mesi prima, non era stato assegnato il posto auto (ci sono 3 posti per 6 appartamenti). I proprietari ci sono comunque venuti incontro, mettendo a disposizione un posto auto di loro proprietà, un po' scomodo perchè raggiungibile attraverso circa 200 gradini e non illuminati. Non consigliato per una vacanza al mare, perchè situato in collina.

Het appartement ligt tegen de berg en heeft een schitterend uitzicht op de zee. Mooi dakterras. Via een trap kun je naar Amalfi lopen. Terug kan dan met de bus. Met de auto kan je moeilijk uit de voeten langs de hele Amalfikust. De weg is erg smal en er zijn snel opstoppingen omdat er bussen moeten passeren E.D. Parkeren is ook lastig in deze regio. Maar het is wel een schitterend gebied.

풍광이 아름답고,절대적으로 유니크한곳.집도 크고 안락함. 평생에한번은 올만한곳.

차가 없으면 도저히 불가능한곳. 절벽위에 붙어있는집이라 계단도 어마어마하게 많고,몸이 조금이라도 불편한분이시라면 절대 이곳은안됩니다. 이집은 내비게이션에도 안나올정도로 찿기어려움.

Appartamento pulito e ricco di ogni confort (asciugamani , pentole , cAffè , prodotti per colazione ). Proprietaria gentile e disponibile. Favoloso panorama dal terrazzo dell ' appartamento vista mare...mozzafiato ! Ideale per chi vuol stare nella più totale tranquillita

Difficoltà nel trovare il luogo la prima volta , un po' fuori dal centro ma con l 'auto ci si sposta facilmente. Campo quasi del tutto assente per cellulari e connessione dati (ma di questo non se ne può dar colpa ai proprietari.)

Ruim en schoon appartement met mooi zonnig balkon met prachtig uitzicht over zee. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Goede faciliteiten. Het ligt tegen een heuvel, hoog boven Amalfi in Pogerola. Heel rustig! Er rijdt een bus van Pogerola naar Amalfi en men kan met een dagkaart heel voordelig met bussen langs de hele kust rijden.

Huur je een auto, kies dan een kleintje! Parkeerplaatsen zijn moeilijk te vinden of erg duur. Reizen per bus of boot is beter. Bij aankomst kan je vanuit het café in Pogerola Luisa bellen, Ze haalt je dan op en wijst de weg naar het appartement. Van te voren mailen hoe laat je ongeveer denkt aan te komen.

У нас был красивый вид с террасы. Это было бюджетно и недалеко от Амальфи.

Очень много ступеней в самом отеле. Когда из номера поднимешься к воротам отеля - уже весь мокрый. Подниматься по лестнице с багажом очень тяжело. Слышно соседей. Было не очень чисто.

Die Apartments sind in einen Terassengarten eingebettet und verfügen allesamt über Terrassen mit Meerblick. Mein Apartment war vollständig ausgestattet. Alle notwendigen Utensilien waren verfügbar: vom Sonnenschirm, über Kaffee und Marmelade bis zum Nudelsieb. Luisa, die als Ansprechpartnerin für Gäste zur Verfügung steht, ist sehr liebenswürdig und hält viele gute Tips und Tricks bereit.

La casa e il luogo molto carini, molto pulito e curato, un terrazzo meraviglioso con vista aperta del mare e immerso nella natura della scogliera tra limoni e piante fiorite. Inizialmente ero un po scettico sulla posizione nelle alture di Amalfi e del percorso dei gradoni per raggiungere la cittadina..ma bellissimo la mattina scendere e fare questo percorso montanaro e vedere sempre più avvicinarsi il mare, con degli scorci panoramici incredibili...nel complesso una bella e salutare vacanza..e un saluto alla simpatia e professionalità della nostra referente Luisa, sempre disponibile e impeccabile..

Nel complesso No.. un po fuori dal centro di Amalfi..ma un difetto che per me è divenuto un pregio...

Un petit coin de paradis, tres bien situé et une vue á couper le souffle sur la côte amalfitaine. Louisa qui nous a accueillies à notre arrivée est vraiment extraordinaire. Super sympa et nous a bien expliqué tout le fonctionnement de notre appartement. Wow! Nous voulons dejà y retourner!

La vista è incantevole. Pulizia e cortesia dello staff. Ottima location per staccare e concedersi una pausa. Lo consiglio a tutti.

Piccolo neo la presenza di molti gradini per raggiungere la piazza dove prendere il bus per amalfi, ma ottima palestra per smaltire lo squisito cibo che si mangia da queste parti!

Struttura molto bella, appartamenti ampi , piacevoli, nuovi o recentemente ristrutturati. Posizione bellissima e giardino da invidia. Il paese di Pogerola e' tranquillo , piacevolmente vivibile , la gente cordiale e il clima fresco. Amalfi e' facilmente raggiungibile in breve tempo con I mezzi pubblici (peccato per la riduzione delle corse nella giornata di domenica). Se si considera che gli stessi mezzi pubblici vengono utilizzati dagli ospiti di altre strutture localizzate in Amalfi ma non nel centro storico, il rapporto qualita' /prezzo e' interessante. Non lo consiglio a chi detesta l'attivita' fisica (oppure ha particolari problemi): scale e gradini sono ovunque, probabilmente erano la principale via di comunicazione prima delle auto e dell'asfalto ... diventano una simpatica ginnastica quotidiana....ma se non amate il genere.......
