+ Very spacious, there's even an additional small living room (with a sofa bed). + 3 TVs: 1 in each of the 2 living rooms, 1 in the bedroom. + Great view from our room. + Some very good restaurants and a few supermarkets in the direct neighborhood. + 2 fully equipped bathrooms. + All main attractions easy and quick to reach. + Great communication before the arrival about transfer and such.
- The doublebed is great. But we're not fans of single, huge blankets. We'd have preferred separate blankets for each of us. No biggy, of course. - The description on the website appears rather rigid: Check-In between 3pm and 4pm. Actually, they send you a code to enter the building and get your reservation details on your own 24/7. A less rigid or more detailed description would take some pressure off the travelers, when planning their arrival.
Reasonably priced (perhaps because it is winter?) Away from the hustle abd bustle of the city centre Superb apartment, like a 5 or 6-star hotel (comes with Nespresso coffee machine, minus George Clooney) Friendly service Beautiful view, facing the main island Local shops and restaurants nearby, with prices being much lower. Two nearby boat stops, Palanca and Redentore
More Nespresso capsules would be nice
Great location which is very easy to reach via water taxi, beautiful views across the water to Venice and takes just 5 minutes by taxi to get across. Lovely island to explore. Great appartment, excellent kitchen, bedroom and (2!) bathrooms. Easy to heat or cool. Excellent service from owners, very accommodating and welcoming. Excellent security and ease of access. Great place to use as a base to relax or explore.
Bed was on the firm side. WiFi coverage in the apartment was patchy. Lack of bars on ground floor window meant we couldn't leave the window open at night. Would be nice to have fresh milk on arrival to make coffee or tea!
We thought the apartment was fantastic, very clean, great location, an exceptional value and, for a family with small children, the kitchen and separate rooms greatly added to the ability to rest and unwind after walking Venice all day
THe second beed was not suffciently comfortable.
The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean and the beds were very comfortable. Complimentary toiletries were provided as well an expresso machine including cartridges and also a basket of breakfast goodies! Ideal to get away from the busy tourist areas, after days of sightseeing with a good choice of restaurants near by when we did not want to venture back across the water! Staff were really helpful. We would highly recommend the apartment.
In general we were very happy and would recommend apartment to anyone and we would be more than happy to stay there again without a thought.
No iron or ironing boards in room also no frying pan in kitchen and could use a floor broom to sweep floors in between from when cleaner comes. Some storage containers for leftover food supplies
The nicest stay in our ten day tour of Italy. Even though Venice is crowded and touristy, we could get away from it all on the south island (quick vaporetto trip) and relax in this excellent apartment. Very knowledgeable and helpful owners - very nice people, thank you! Spacious two-bedroom apartment with great kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. It felt luxurious, especially compared to many of the other places we stayed on our trip.
undemonstrative, sincere hospitality and the fact that the place is on Giudecca, the better twin of Venice...
that I stayed 2 days only
When i booked it, i didn't expect the sheer vastness of it. Apparently i was upgraded to a superior unit. The apartment was marvellous!I came wih a friend and between the two of us, there was just a lot of space but we are not complaining at all. It smelled heavenly the minute you walked in. The entire place is simply but very tastefully decorated. Everything you need, nice bathtub, kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine. Such a wonderful stay at an even amazing place. By far the best stay for the Italy trip. Perhaps the unit is more for family of 4 but like i said we weren't complaining. Highly recommended.
Nothing substantial. The wifi requires login everytime we leave&come back. The place itself is not in the main square and is about 30mins from train station and about 10min to the main area of Venice. It's still worth checking it out though.
The location was away from the mad crowds. Nearby restaurants and facilities were excellent. The Appartment was stunning amd the staff very helpful. Would go back.
Nothing to hate
Excellent design and comfort of the rooms, excellent facilities (kitchen-bathroom etc) and service from the staff, Giudecca location is great as it is very close to the main island of Venice and at the same time it does not have all the crowds.
Nothing that I didnt like- I would only recommend a greater variety of pillows
I like being away from the crowds on the Giudecca. Venice is beautiful, but so touristy now. These apartments were quiet comfortable and well located. Staff very helpful too.
Having to log into the wifi every time I went on line was a bore.
We loved the location; we loved the ambience of the apartment and the attention to detail.
The communication before arriving was excellent. There was no stone unturned and the directions to the apartment and arrangements for entry were flawless. Entering the apartment caused us all to draw a breath because of the quality and size. The view was also spectacular. The facilities from the razor in the bathroom to the selection of items in the kitchen were great. We thought the location may cause a problem being a little out of the way but it was an advantage due to the quiet location and the ease of the water buses. I could go into detail but needless to say .... Just book it
The building has been beautifully refurbished and is an incredible mix of luxury and renaissance with modern touches. Our apartment was simply beautiful and we didn't want to leave. The staff were so friendly and helpful - made us feel so welcome.
Really, it was great. I suppose only gripe (& this isn't a big one as I knew the location when I booked) is that the hotel is on Giudecca Island but it's around the corner from Redantore Vaparetto stop - boats are very frequent and only a few stops to St Marks Square and run 24 hours a day. For us, as there were 5 of us and we were in Venice for less than a day, this added €70 to the cost (return trip on the Vaparetto) but if you're in Venice for longer, you'll probably have a pass anyway so it won't make much difference.
a truly luxurious apartment helpful staff close to city center
location was great ,decor was traditional and luxurious .This apartment has 2 en suites and good facilities including a washing machine and microwave ,dishwasher and lifts to the rooms, even though the outside looks run down inside was totally beautiful and well designed.staff very helpful and gave maps and local knowledge of how to travel on the vaporetto.
No toaster and no iron in the room. Only 1 small sharp knife in the kitchen and no oven, brochure stated fully equipped kitchen including "electric oven" the kitchen is lacking some basic kitchen utensils eg can opener.
Clean room and helpful staff. Only 5 mins vaparetto ride to St Marks square. Will definately use again.
Great location away from the busy main island. Fantastic friendly staff. Amazingly clean and spacious apartment. All the facilities you need. Would highly recommend to all...
This place was amazing, and I mean amazing.Samuel was great in explaining where to go and what to do to make our visit to venice so easy. We would have loved to stay longer and we are already planning our next trip.
The location. The size of the apartment. The excellent design and quality of the building, furnishings and fixtures. The professionalism of the proprietor. The sense of living in Venice rather than just visiting.
Having to leave. Nothing else.
ai Redentori is a amazing hotel!
The quality of the accommodation was excellent with everything we needed. Easy to get to from the airport by bus and boat, no problems at all and a lovely oasis of calm awaits. Never tired of looking out of the window across the water at Venice. Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing to dislike, all good.
