It was a very clean place, with staff who were interested and willing to help. Decent continental breakfast. Only the location. I would not choose this location personally. I had a business meeting there and the people running the meeting chose that hotel. |

The hotel was well-placed for Ciampino airport. Being with a car, the secure parking was much appreciated. Breakfast would have been enhanced by decent fresh bread; far too many sweet options for my British taste. |

Breakfast - not to much variety but the food was of a good quality. Reception staff very attentive and helpful, even when we requested room change due to unexpected and very loud music coming from an (hopefully temporary) amusement park located in front of the hotel.Quite far from the city center - at least 50 minutes to, let's say, Plaza Espagna -12 bus stops (558) and 12 metro stations (Metro line a), The bus stops in front of the hotel, therefore this is the most convenient way to get to the city except taxi or own car. The cheapest way to travel is to buy a 3 day "Roma Pass" from Tourist Information Offices (in fco a/p arrivals and Termini railway station). For 23 euros you will get unlimited transport within the city and two museums. Loud music coming from an amusement park. Tv only in italian, but we came to Rome to see the city not to watch tv. |

Good sized, clean room with fridge, room safe (not working) and an efficient shower. The small TV only had Italian channels. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and appeared to do the best they could to deal with problems. However, this hotel is definitely more suited to young people than to the mature, more discerning traveller. We would describe it more as a well run, good quality hostel or economy businessman's hotel. With a little more effort the management could do so much better. The en-suite extractor fan was dirty and the timer was not working, resulting in it running rather noisily 24 hrs. After mentioning this to the staff they subsequently switched all room fans off manually overnight...one way of dealing with the problem, I suppose! The room was cold first thing in the morning and again in the evening and in spite of us asking several time for it to be put on, it never was and we were subsequently informed it was broken down....we doubted it!! Pop music was played quite loudly each morning in the breakfast room which is not what most people want when they've just got up and hoping for a peaceful start to the day! We found it took twice as long as suggested in the hotel details to travel into Rome centre. |

Good value for money, included in the room price a good breakfast compared to what we saw in other hotels. We ate the dinner at the hotel only once, but it was very good for that price. Distant from the city, travel to city center takes about 25 minutes. No restaurants in the vicinity. |

I think, This hotel is resonable price. I got very bad impression for me because i asked the hotel to call the taxi to go to airport but hotel staff provied the limosine which i support to pay for taxi aroud 15-20 euro. When i asked the reception how much the cost. He said 35 euro but when we arrived to airport limosine telled me cost is 40 euro. |

I like the large room, large bed, and bath and its modern design. After spending time at 5 different hotels and one private residence, it was very satisfying to have "space". I enjoyed the breakfast and the security of the facility. The location was far away from the nearest metro, but a local bus ride made it available in 15 minutes. |

The location is good for those coming with the car. It is close to the highway and about 20 min away from the city center (Termini) with the train (Roma-Pantano line). It is about 5 min walking distance from the hotel to the station. Free private and protected parking is very good. Staff was kind and helpful. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Bathroom is not decorated as nice as the room. |

Place worth its price. Staff helpful. Free and secure parking including underground places. Clean and handy with some symptoms of normal wear of equipment. The breakfast above expectations which means more than continental breakfast. Want to feel the local climate – cross the street and visit bar. Trip to the centre of Rome takes about 40 mins (bus 558 from the curb, then subway A from Subaugusta station or 10 mins walk to Torre Spaccata light train station and about 30 mins ride through rather devastated quarters of the city to Laziali/Termini station). The wireless internet is not free (1 euro/h as on Sept 2009) and is available only at the lobby. Want to use air conditioning – check carefully that the room device is clean. |

The staff was very kind and spoke English, the rooms were very nicely equipped and extremely clean, the breakfast was very very good (but with many sweets, the Italian way). The location was pretty far from the city center, about 45 minutes by public transport. There were good connections though, the bus station was right in front of the hotel. |

Hotel was in good condition and everything was arranged well. The location is about 45minutes from the Termini with the tram, not even close to mentioned 20min. Anyway we ddin't mind that, because it was really easy to travel with the tram. |

Plenty of room in hotel, good value for money. Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. The transport into the city was interesting, but easy once you get the hang of it. It takes about 30 mins. Croissants for breakfast were overcooked and hard. Wifi doesn't work in the hotel rooms, only in the lobby and outside in the garden. The €16 three course dinner was not the best to be honest. Pasta was under cooked, cooked vegetables were cold when the main course arrived. Desert was just canned fruit. Probably ok value for money though. Also, during the night there were dogs continually barking nearby which made getting to sleep difficult on both nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately there were these few things that I didn't like. Perhaps though, all this is to be expected for the budget price, as overall I do think it is good value for money. |

Good value hotel, plenty of parking and front gate makes it very secure. Just off the main Motorway (GRA), so was easy to find. The hotel is very close to bus routes etc. Its probably a bit to far out if you want to visit all the sites in Rome. |

The room was appropriate (clean, big enough, etc...) Nice and helpful receptionists. Very far from the city center ('20 minutes' is mentioned on the website, but actually it takes far more - cca 50 minutes). Breakfast can be improved. The waiters were rude to us. |

Set next to the Rome Opera House, Hotel Impero is a 5-minute walk from Termini Station. You can walk down to the Coliseum in just 15 minutes. |
