Hotel Albani Firenze  

3-Star Price, 4-Star Hotel & 5-Star location, breakfast as well as facilities. Their price move up and down and if you can make up your decision 3 weeks in advance and book for 2 nights at least, you can get a good rate like me. Excellent Buffet Breakfast (5-Star Hotel standard in Europe) We were offered a balcony room at the top floor, facing nice landscape of Firenze. I could describe it as one of the best rooms in the hotel I believe. Excellent location as just one street off the railway station with less than 3 minutes and 300 metres walk. 3 minutes pleasant walk to the Central market - you must go there for cheap Parma Ham with excellent quality. Other food and wine are also cheap there if you would like to bring something home. At most 10 minutes walk to the Dummo and other sight-seeing locations. Supermarket is just between the hotel and the train station. Luggage could be safe-keeping for few days if you would need to travel to Tuscany like us.

The fuse of the electric system within the room was gone on our last night of staying. When I called for assistance, has to wait for 20 minutes including a hurry up call. The front desk staff (Night shift old guy) is totally not responsible and told me that the air-conditioning cannot be fixed until the next day and any complaint has to be raised to his manager the next morning. He claimed the air-conditioning for the whole hotel was not working but actually it wasn't the case. We have to make a serious complaint and being angry with him in order to get someone to fix it before we go to bed,

The hotel is right by the station and walking distance to major attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bath room was huge!

There was only one window in the room and we could control the temperature since the air onditioning was only on heater mode.

Excellent service! We had a problem with our mobile service and they did everything to help including calling up the company over many days for us. The staff were professional, friendly and provided fantastic service. The rooms were quality standard far exceeding expectations and very well located.

Very nice hotel. Great location just 2 mins walk to Termini train station. Very friendly staff and intimate services. Absolutely recommend!!

We actually love it. We expect less than we got. Perfect location - u can walk to duomo, ufficy, and Santa croche. And u can walk to Santa novella station, where u can take bus or train. Very convenient. And the room wasn't very big. But that was ok. It was cosy , in light colors, clean, and new. And staff was nice. We love it. When we go To Florence we stay in albani for sure!

The room service stop working at 23 P.M. And the breakfasts... Although we ate out, breakfasts in the hotel nice. But never change. Every mining the same. But all the pluses this hotel have are much important.

I asked for twin beds in advance-but didn't get them, and staff didn't even mention that they don't have any rooms available or another excuse. Reception staff had poor english- when i asked the breakfast time I was told it`s from 4 to 7,30 lol. The maid opened the room while we were sleeping and woke us up with violent knocks on the door at 5 pm with no reason.

We had a wondefull 4 day stay here, the staff were excellent, they even left a birthday gift for my friend. The hotel is very central, confortable rooms, good breakfast and very fast service I would recommend this Hotel.

Location, location, location! Close to the main railway station, it was a good quality hotel that made our stay in Firenze very easy.

Price is a bit high

Staff were helpful at reception. Room was clean on arrival. Location of hotel was great just couple of minutes from main train station in florence. Also close to shopping streets, restaurants.

We stayed two nights in hotel and room wasnt maid up or towels cleaned after first night stay. Staff had entered room while we were out during the day but left room in mess by opening doors and presses to check mini bar etc and leaving them open. When we complained we found staff had lack of english to understand our complaint.
