location geulia at front desk was extremelyhelpful
This was our second stay at the Albani Hotel because we thoroughly enjoyed our first stay last year! The hotel is away from the touristy area but you can walk to many of the sights within 15-20mins (eg to the Spanish Steps), you can also walk down the whole length of Via Veneto easily or you can be patient and catch the bus. These are very frequent. The decor is quite trendy and funky, the beds comfortable and the rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is very satisfactory, although it could be better but get your morning started and then eat out. You are within minutes of Villa Borghese and they organised a personal driver to take our family of 3 to the airport for 55 euro. This saved the hassle of catching trains etcetc. There are a few fashion shops around the area and many eating places, as well as a great little supermarket. The wifi was not great unless you were close to the door of your room and became weaker as you moved away from it. However, I do recommend you consider this hotel as it is great value for money and away from the madding crowds! Enjoy!
We loved the location - not in the narrow side streets of the city but near the Borghese Villa and gardens and our balcony overlooked the mature garden attached to villa Albani. We easily lesrned the tram and bus lines unto the centre - 15 minutes ride through elegant Roman suburbs. Room was bright and comfortable.
Can't think of a thing.
Great place to stay with kids and the staff was friendly. Most places we visited needed a quick cab ride.
The wireless is very weak.
Very helpful staff
Was able to accommodate and assist me with a room move after the 1st night due to noise since the 1st room was right underneath the main lobby door. Could hear people talking early in the morning.
Internet connection wasn't always stable.
The rooms facing the park are very good although they charge an extra to stay there. Quiet neighborhood with good restaurants around and near public transportation.
The wi-fi does not work.
Nice and clean hotel close to the Villa Borghese! I really appreciated the room facing the very quiet garden of "Villa Albani".
It is too bad some groups of turists were very noisy quite late in the night or ealy morning!!!
Great hotel, wonderful staff, clean, comfortable, an excellent choice for the money. And it has parking an a great breakfast!!
Television didn't work. But who cares. We are in Rome after all.
-The location was fine. We prefer walking outside, so we didn't need public transport to go to anywhere. But if you do, there's a good connection close by. -Room size was good; we had a corner room with big balcony. -The room seemed to be clean at first, but...
-...WE GOT BITTEN BY BED BUGS! (definitely not mosquitoes) -The room was really cold! Even though we switched of the AC, it was freezing in the room, had to keep my cardigan on in bed... -WiFi hasn't worked at all. -Pillows were too soft for us, thereby we didn't sleep well. -Staff spoke poorly English, with an exception of one woman at check-in who was also helpful in explaining where to get public transport. -We know the check-in is from 2PM, but every other hotel we've ever been to all over the world, it was never a problem to check-in a couple of hours earlier. Here, we came in at 1.30PM and we had to wait til 2.15PM because the room wasn't ready yet. -When we checked out, an older man was 'helping' us; he was not so friendly or smiling or anything. I gave him my creditcard for the payment, but without a word, he took it and did the payment. I reached out my hand to take back my creditcard afterwards but this guy just TOSSED my creditcard on the counter!!! Never coming back or recommend this hotel to anyone.
The vore fr.o.m. The room
We were presented the wrong room which was paid in full in advance so we asked to be moved. The staff were not willing to help as my GF had gone to the toilet and said it was not possible for hygiene reasons! I don't think so Albani Hotel, your mistakes should be acknowledged and rectified without question
When in Rome on business I always stay at this hotel because of it's location to my customers offices. Having said that it's a great location if you want an hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Roma central. With a bus stop no more than 100 meters from the front door, a 10 minute bus ride to Termini train station means an easy and quick access to the metro and the sights of Roma.
Rooms were huge, staff friendly, breakfast excellent, location very convenient.
Wi-fi connection was very poor.
Bardzo ładny pokój, super balkon;)
Bardzo słaba jakość internetu!!!! - wi-fi IS VERY, VERY POOR - there is no internet connection!!!
Friendly breakfast staff
Excellent rooms and helpful front office staffs
The connectivity of internet (wifi) especially upstairs is poor
The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Poor wifi, almost nonexistent. You'd think they'd fix it after complaints from everyone! Breakfast is a joke...and it's too expensive.
Loved comfort of beds Access to neighborhood restaurant and bakery
Staff was not as friendly and helpful as last time we stayed there.
Great location, nice and quiet Staff very helpfull
wifi was very slow at times
location, view over the parc
room insulation, some noise from neighbours
Perfect location ,near the center but facing a green park, modern clean rooms, free parking easy to find around!
The location and cost was excellent
The wifi was intermittent
There was a lot of noise both from the road as well as from the corridor. I was on the first floor!
Hotel staff were excellent and helpful and lots of power outlets for all the electronic gadgets
The hotel wi-fi is awful - slow and non-responsive with intermittent internet connection failures.
